The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, with lots of natural light. For us, we had the interior garden and pool view, pleasant to see the mountains when open the windows

This is an old style Italian hotel, but the hospitality is old style too. One was outstanding, one was ordinary. Very good outcome for a 7 night stay, we felt. There was typically at least 4 choices for each Course

Handy for touring the region on either local boats, busses, and trains ( train station is a 10min walk) Food/service fantastic, the hotel does cater for coach parties which can make the resteraunt noisey in the evening, they were gone before we made breakfast!

Fantastic place to use as a base to see lake Magguri, on the front handy for lake shuttle boats and busses, road can be busy, we were on the back overlooking the quaint old town which is great, loads of cafes, bars and resteraunts

This hotel is located in a great location, beautiful views of the lake and the staff is outstanding! The trains went on strike the day of our departure and the staff worked for hours to find us alternative transportation

Fabulous hotel in a great location. The whole of our stay was wonderful, from the fantastic breakfast, lovely pool and garden, creative and tasty evening meal courses to the staff who were incredibly kind and attentive

We loved it, all the bar staff and waiter s were really professional and friendly. Bit of a walk into Stresa but lovely along the lake side and convenient for the boats. Only downside is the busy road is a bit noisy.

Brilliant location for exploring Stresa, the islands and getting the cable car. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Food was great and they did special meals for the children each evening

Except that the location is not as good as another five-star hotel, (the location is about 1 km away, but at night, when the lights of the two small islands are dim, this point is exceeded), everything else exceeds expectations

Small pool, but you can use the big pool at the Astoria

Not far from the city center, next door from the boat pier. Very convenient location with very good value for the money, including the free car parc. Very nice team !

Indoor pool a nice bonus and location good for cable car a few restaurants and boat accross to islands however a good 10 minutes walk into centre of Stresa

Right next to the pier, you can easily take a cruise around the lake. The hotel provides free parking spaces, but you can ask the front desk if you can't find them

Hotel itself nicely located next to the boats and cable car which is good and the walk to the town centre was 15 to 20 mins. Swimming pool was closed as the water was too cold which was disappointing

Young woman at reception couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and really was one of the most helpful cheerful people I've ever encountered at a hotel even those with 5 stars

But the hotel bar and food service were excellent, breakfast really nice and a surprise Easter egg for the kids was a nice touch

Dinner each evening was either fish, chicken or various meats. Salad and veggies served on the side. There was a small bar with plenty of seating areas. There was a small outdoor pool and a sun terrace

This beautiful family run hotel has a 3 star grading, but I would give it 4 stars. Superb location on the waterfront overlooking Lake Maggiore, with beautifully maintained gardens with outdoor swimming pool

Being a traditional building, there was plenty of lounge space to relax in air conditioned rooms. The hotel is only 150 metres from the town centre, where you can get numerous boats to nearby islands and beyond

The rooms are comfortable, we had a lovely walk-in shower, enough wardrobes and shelves for clothes etc. Air conditioning unit had easy controls and was extremely quiet

The whole staff are very friendly and cheerful at all times, particularly the dining room waiters and waitress, with great knowledge of English speaking

Breakfast has plenty of choice of good quality food, being self service it’s nice to sit outside in the garden with good access to the food area

Cozy and somewhat simple hotel nicely situated in Baveno close to the church and the promenade. The pool area is quite small so you shouldn’t plan on taking a day by the pool. Fine breakfast however nothing fancy

The swimming pool was peaceful and quiet where my wife and I relaxed in the afternoons. Recommended for the passers bye and (mid-)week stay! Would come back

I've stayed in Baveno several times and this hotel is by far and away the best hotel that I have been fortunate enough to stay at here. Great location, very secure parking, very pleasant staff and breakfast is ok

The swimming pool is quite small but it is still nice. Breakfast is average but service is very welcoming. The lake view from upper floor rooms is juste amazing

At first, we had a smaller room, really a bit too small to walk in it, and a strange smell, from the AC but the management was quick to offer us an alternative room! This was was more roomy, had a balcony, great view towards the lake and we were very happy! You can walk to the town center easily in 5 minutes and enjoy all the shopping and restaurants by foot. Baveno is nice and you can take the ferry to many other cities around the lake

Also Stresa is only 10 min by car and it is one of the most beautiful spots on Lago Maggiore

Great location and great place! We stayed here in June. Rented a 2 bedroom for 3 nights but we actually were upgraded to a 3; bedroom which was a pleasant surprise. We were on the second floor and had a partial lake view

asked many questions and was able to prescribe a prescription. Each day his health improved. If it wasn’t for the quick action of the staff, we would not have been able to continue with our planned tour

Yes sitting outside on the balcony did have some car noise but it was fine! Bathrooms were huge and clean; toiletries provided. Hotel also has a game room for kids and a laundry facility

By the time we arrived in Baveno, his symptoms had not improved. With the help from the front desk, they were able to find a Doctor that was willing to meet my husband in our suite

The hotel is a little bit old but we'll maintained, the family room was big enough with a well equipped kitchen. The adventure park was great, suits for little kids

From there you can get a ferry to other towns around the lake for a very low price. While we were at the hotel, a particular hi-light was the amazing bar staff

There are some nice little restaurants on the square and one which is just before the main square called II Burchiello. To all the staff and manager, a big thank you for making our stay memorable

Spectacular view from the terrasse, location is amazing. Food is average, but the tagliata di manzo was perfect. Room are nice and clean. The pool is well designed but the water was extremely cold.

The facilities are beautiful the price to not include breakfast and the parking that they have is per hour every time that you go in and out, it’s not that close to Baveno or Stresa unfortunately during our stay, it was raining a lot, but the facilities are beautiful

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel Milano, its quite charming. However not the most luxurious, the AC was a bit noisy and the bed a bit too soft, but for the price I think it's quite good

Room was adequate with a few issues such as no shower head bracket so get used to showering one handed! Large crack which has split wallpaper from ceiling to floor on one wall and discoloured wallpaper on opposite wall as though been wet

Belgirate ferry stop 300m away as a gateway to all the major attractions but is very quiet with few bars, Anelli& is exceptional for sharing plates and fresh sandwiches

They have a lovely terrace, they do offer a great selection of wines and the staff is very nice and friendly

Small scale hotel. Located in the center of Verbania. Spacious, somewhat outdated rooms. Breakfast with croissant, cake and cereal. All in all a nice hotel for the price.

This is a fantastic hotel attached to a superb restaurant. The rooms are, newly-refurbished, spacious and comfortable, they include a good sized balcony with a very impressive view over the lake

The restaurant has its own pontoon to and from which we caught a water taxi - a lovely way to travel. Laveno itself is a charming, small town and about a 5 minute walk (roadside)

A wonderful stay in the Maremma. Our room was a family room with a small kitchenette attatched. The situation close to the harbour and bridge, and yet within walking distance of a great beach and restaurants was ideal
