The rooms are very standard. The staff is very friendly. You have to make a reservation for breakfast and diner. You have to do that the day before. Don't forget to book! Otherwise you have to go to Tesero to visit a restaurant. Breakfast is okay and dinner is good.

It is an old hotel but very well maintained, with the following advantages: - Clean rooms (cleaned every day) - Jacuzzi (2x) - Swimming pool - Wet sauna - Dry sauna - Massage service (+1 complementary massage on the house) - Good food - Decen prices - Friendly personnel - Bar on the spot - Ping pong table / pool table The disadvantages I found were the following: - The WiFi was really bad. Hotel was crowded and noisy, hotel bed wasn't very comfortable because there was two single bed cussion on top of the double bed. Hotel staffs are kind and helpful. Location is perfect I would like to come to see in winter ❄️⛄

Nice hotel with great reception staff, the room are a bit old fashioned, but clean and cozy with great balconies. The hotel organized a lot of events and there is a pool and fitness center, but the main value is the position really close to the skiing centers.

Good hotel, clean rooms, bathrooms are a bit outdated. Very close to the ski slopes. Lobby and terrace are very nice, also the bar is cozy. The bartender is really friendly. We stayed at the end of the ski season, just before the yearly closing of the hotel. Too bad this was too visible: breakfast was reduced the last days, also some drinks were not available at the bar.

Really great place. We felt very welcomed. The rooms were spacious enough, had bathroom with walk in shower (but no door 😉 ) and separate toilet (with the door 😉). We were very unfortunate to breakdown in our motorhome,and our breakdown company arranged for us to stay here for 3 nights and it was great. The hotel is lovely and the food is very good. Spent a week at the Rio Stava for skiing. The ski bus stops outside the hotel so good access to the lifts and slopes at Pampeago in 15 minutes. Nice family hotel. Especially the included child care (starting from 6-month-old) is not common in other hotels. Lots to do in the neighbourhood but you either need to drive by car or take the (free) skibus.

I really recommend starting in Shandranj hotel with family during the Ski holidays. There are plenty of places where kids can have fun while parents can rest in Wellness area which is brand new and comfortable.

Great atmosphere, dood and service. Close to the Ski Center Latemar. Wellness area as well as mini club for children - you shouldn't ask for more.

We booked this at short notice for a one night stay and it was perfect. The house has been beautifully renovated and the room that we stayed in was lovely. We were given the warmest of welcomes and an excellent breakfast was served in the morning.

I've spent 7️⃣ days in this hotel. It has really nice traditional design, with bright wood. My room was good, but not fantastic. It had glowing milky way on the ceiling 🌌! Hotel is located near the bus stop, time to get to the pampeago ski 🎿⛷️ slopes is 10 min. Food was really oryginal and sofisticated. I recommend this place to every person that likes Italian style of food and furniture!

I have just returned from this hotel and cannot fault it. It is cosy, elegant and my bedroom (no 103) and bathroom were both spacious and immaculate. The hotel really came into its own though with the high quality of the evening meals which were superb. I spent a week in this hotel. We were treated very well, family-run hotel, with helpful and courteous owners, excellent home cooking (I have never found such a large and well-assorted vegetable buffet). Beautiful rooms and attached bathrooms, always perfectly clean. If I can note one small flaw, the beds are a little too low for my taste.
