B&B Hotel Udine

I was in this hotel in march of 2022. I was with small baby 2 years old and with my friend and 2 kids more. We ran from Ukraine from bombs. And i tried to find the rooms for us on 1 night. It was night, and we was very tired. When i made the reservation, i saw information that I needed to pay in the hotel and it was ok. So when we came, it was nearly 1 hour a.m. i found that reception didn't work and I was wondering. There is a terminal of self-service and It was really difficult at that moment, and i spent a lot of time on new reservation and payed for 1 room. Then I saw that I could find the reservation from booking.com. on the monitor of this terminal. And i planned to pay the count by one more room but i found in my banking account that 2 rooms from reservation on booking.com paid and also paid new reservation. So finely i paid for 3 rooms instead of 2 rooms. However in the next day when i came to reception i told this situation, and somebody without forms and bages told me that he knows about this situation and i need to write it in booking.com. It was terrible time for my family and my country and of course i haven't any powers to prolonged this conversation. I wrote to booking.com but i haven't money per today. And in the booking.com this hotel sent information that we didn't stay there. I understand that this hotel didn't want to pay something for me and also don't want to pay booking.com their commissions. And also i want to tell that it was absolutely awful service in breakfast. And there are a problems with parking. I hope your hotel will be richer from money on my tears. Also I have information from the bank about three operations. And if you tell me that I never was in your hotel, I have proof.

I recently stayed at b&b hotel udine for seven days. While the staff were friendly and helpful, I was disappointed by the lack of basic amenities in the rooms. Essential items like a fridge, a kettle, and even basic toiletries such as toothpaste and a toothbrush were missing. The only toiletries provided were a combined shampoo and body wash, unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at where they offer separate shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.

Another issue was the breakfast. Every morning, the breakfast menu was exactly the same with no variation. I paid for breakfast hoping to experience new and exciting Italian cuisine, but unfortunately, it was repetitive and uninspiring.

For the amount of money I spent, I expected better services and amenities. Given my experience, I do not think I will be returning to this hotel.

Generally I am a fan of B & B Hotels. You know what you get and what you don't get. And mostly, the price is reasonable and adequate. The B & B Udine was the most disappointing experience I had so far with B & B Hotels. Small, old and smelly room, not too clean, with an uneffective air condition. Breakfast rather economic, good coffee, that's it. Some of the staff very nice and pleasant, others snooty and upstage. Very elevated price. The great historic center is near, but not 5 minutes by foot, as they tell you ať the reception, but rather 10-15. Parking Is ok, but not directly at the Hotel. Unattractive view from the window - ruins and dirt.
