Hotel Conterie

Very nice hotel, cozy, with nice and big enough rooms. It is very clean. The included breakfast was amazing with allot of options. Personal is helpful and always with a smile on their faces.

Small room and a few rough edges, but a good price for a clean room. The hotel is on a quiet street in Murano - very quiet and the terrace is a relaxing place to wake up with a cappuccino and an acceptable breakfast buffet (nothing hot). Good place if you're visiting Murano and need a budget accommodation for a night or two.

We really liked staying here and most of the staff was very nice, and everything was very clean. The breakfast was very minimal, but convenient.

In general the staff are great, thet do their best to help, they are polite and kind. There was only one day we had the sign to clean the room and we know someone entered as the bed was kinda made but the bins weren't change and there was coffee on the air condicioning and on the floor that I've cleaned myself. Anyway, after that day when we needed again the room was nicely done, bed properly made, bins changed and new shampoo there.

Room look kinda old but I found that charming.

We did not have breakfast there as we knew we would not have as many vegan and gluten free options.

In general I can say my husband and I were happy enough with the place. 😊

Beautiful to see a big house with a nice courtyard turned into a hotel.
Beautiful mirrors, wood and sit out areas.
Tasty breakfast.
Well kept rooms, clean.
We had a pleasant stay.
Shower did have problems with hot water but amidst centuries old Venice, I could let go of this perfection and I never complained.

I don’t usually take time to review every place and restaurant I go to. However this time I think it’s worth it, since Hotel Conterie was such a pleasant surprise.

Me and my family were off to Venice during the weekend of the Film Festival and the inauguration of Biennale - a busy weekend indeed. We just were not aware of it and we waited for the last second to book our accommodation. Ended up choosing Hotel Conterie as it was the only one available at a very affordable price, but had very low expectations knowing it was a late decision.

Imagine the surprise when we entered a beautiful and really clean room, in this quiet and pretty area of Murano island. The hotel was so cute and well taken care of, close enough to the main areas.

We got welcomed by a kind and very accommodating the owner, who made everything he could to make us feel good. He even spent 20 minutes recommending restaurants and things to do and see around the laguna over the weekend.

I totally recommend this cozy and pretty hotel. Murano is famous for its glass-making tradition and eventually you’d have to visit it anyway. Why not considering sleeping there and being 15 min away (by ferry) from all touristy areas and restaurant?

I've enjoyed the stay. The hotel is nice and I have felt comfortable and warm which is important in winter. The reception stuff is very kind. What amazes me the most is the location of the hotel, it is such a magic experience wandering around Murano island, it is so silent and you have a good amount of facilities. I recommend this place to adventurers.

Stayed for 3 nights in this lovely hotel. The staff were all very helpful, particularly the reception staff who made it very easy to find out information and were very understanding when we arrived very late due to our flight suffering a 5 hour delay.

The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of toiletries and towels. Comfortable room with decent air con. Breakfast was simple but adequate.

I would have gone to the full 5 stars if the roof terrace had been a bit quieter to sit in. Unfortunately, the air con from an adjoining building made it a noisy place to be. Would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.
