Lovely place to stay, great central location close to the main shopping street and all restaurants. Our room was super clean, beautifully decorated with Vietri ceramic tiles, and had a view of the sea. The room is air conditioned and there is an external blackout blind which is super helpful in the summer heat. We had Italian breakfast at the nearby café, curtesy of the B&B - coffee and super fresh pastry.
The B&B is about 15 minutes from the beaches, if you are prepared to pay, I would recommend Crestarella - its closest and also smaller and less crowded than the other large beaches.
Raffaele is a great and caring host, always there to answer any questions and super helpful. I really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend Palazzo Pinto for anyone considering staying in Vietri!

Very close to the main strip of the town, as well as bus stops for traveling outside of the town.
Choosing where to stay on the Amalfi coast was difficult, there are so many options! But when we decided on Vietri sul mare, it was definitely the right choice. It’s not as expensive or crowded as Positano, but it is still authentic with great restaurants and beautiful ceramic stores. There are plenty of bars, a few beaches, and a lot of bus connections to the other local towns. It’s definitely not as touristy, which I liked more. This bed and breakfast was great, we had breakfast tickets to a café nearby with the best croissants ever in the rooms itself were perfect. The bathroom was beautiful with ceramic tile, and it had perfect details that made the whole state better. It was clean, quiet, and felt very safe.

I had the worst experience. My flight has been delayed so I have been there at 7:58 PM and didn't allow me to check in because he said the check in must be done until 8:00 PM. Paid for 3 nights, couldn't check in even the next day because he cancelled as no show at midnight. This is a scam and couldn't be more upset than finding out in a foreign country that I don't have a place to sleep.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If you are flying or taking a train into Vietri, BEWARE!
My daughters flight was delayed and when we notified the hotel we would be coming at 21:00 instead of 20:00, the hotel refused to allow a later check in. We were told in a message from the hotel, and I quote, "A problem of the guests cannot become a problem of the b & b we have rules and time tables and rules are to be respected." As if we had any control of our flight! I called the hotel, called Expedia and even had a family member that speaks Italian call but they would not help out. We had to book another hotel and lose 1 nights pay because of this.
In fact, this review was originally posted the day of her arrival, hoping the owner would do the right thing and help out 2 young girls stranded in a foreign county without a place to stay. However, I had to remove this post briefly the owner not only didn't care to help, he refused to allow her to check in the next day because of the review. The hotel was paid in advance, and we could not check in or get a refund without removing the review.
There are plenty of other places to stay in town, I recommend one that actually cares about its guests.
