Mediterranea Hotel & Convention Center

The hotel's location is great as it is near a beach and close to public transportation such as the train station and bus stop. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were no vegetarian options for breakfast, only different types of bread, so I was disappointed. The room was otherwise good and spacious with a balcony. Overall, I found this hotel to be average and nice. It's a suitable option if you're travelling on a budget and can find it at a lower rate.

I had a great stay. Carlo and the other staff made my stay memorable. From the time I checked in and the time I checked out, it was great. The people who worked at the front desk were nice. I spoke to Carlo most of the time. He was really helpful. Gave directions to places I needed to go to. The breakfast buffet had a lot of traditional Italian pastries. They had American-ish breakfast like scrambled eggs, toast and cereal, but I had to try the all the pastries. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming. I looked forward to waking up early every morning to eat breakfast and take my time. The room was clean and spacious. I liked the balcony which overlooks the beach. Checked in a month ago. It was humid out and it was nice to come back to a room that had AC after a long day of exploring the coast. I wish I had stayed longer and explored Salerno in the daytime. The area was safe and had easy access to the highways. Very short walk to the Salerno train station. There are buses not too far the hotel. Overall convenient location. I brought my dog with me and there was a charge of 10€ a day. Thank you Carlo for making my first trip to Salerno memorable. Thanks for the other staff as well. Hope to stay here in the near future. At the southern tip of Costa Amalfitana, with beach front. Nice relaxing place to spend a weekend.

Good location away from the crowds but still 10-15 min walk from downtown Salerno. The public beach is also a walking distance or across a road for a fee. The rooms are OK, just a bit too much on plug-in air freshener. Strangely, there is shampoo but no conditioner provided. There is a breakfast in the restaurant which is ok with a regular cheese, ham and boiled egg choice as well as pastries. The bar at the reception can serve drinks and coffee even late at night.
