Villa Santa is greatly located. Location in the middle of the forest. Feels like a real forest home vibe, but you still stay in the city of Cesis. We stayed at Villa Santa place for 1 night with a friend's little doggy. They allowed us, but my shock was even though we paid extra for our four-legged friend, they did not even offer a dog bowl for water. Secondly, my disappointment was with the spa....

A bit old-fashioned, but in a very good location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but very satisfying. Breakfast could have been more varied, but overall quite good. Would definitely recommend!

Probably the most convenient place to stay in Cēsis. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is good — especially when enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the park. The location is excellent: just a 5-minute walk to the main street with restaurants and also to Cēsis Castle. Free parking is a nice bonus. The only downside is the ventilation — there's no air conditioning, and the windows only open partially...

Great hotel in the centre of the town within easy walking distance of everywhere you might want to visit. The rooms are great and the cafe (downstairs) is also a bonus if you don't want to go too far for a meal!

Rooms looks good. Shower temperature changes all the time which is really annoying. Internet on the top floor isn’t great. I like the design and cleanliness of the room. Btw. No elevator so we had to walk up three floors with heavy suitcases…

Great value for the money. Very comfortable, extremely large room. Amazing water pressure in the shower! I wish my airbnb was half this good. I’m very happy here and can highly recommend it. However! Be warned!! Google maps will put you on the back side of the building. Go around the block and you will find the entrance.

They mixed up our rooms. Also hot water was barley warm, very unpleasant to take a shower.

It's ok place to stay. Great location in very center of the town and has decent view out of a window and the room was clean. Only reason why I gave 3 stars is because they should not be classified as a hotel because they don't have active reception and they don't offer breakfast. Typical guesthouse with only 5 rooms. The furnishings are acceptable, although cheap. Good bed pillows, but the mattress is hard. NO soundproofing. The restaurant is closed, there is no reception as such. The included breakfast only serves cold cuts. Verdict - acceptable for one night, but no more.

This is very centrally located small hotel - an ideal place for a base when visiting Cesis and surroundigs. Very friendly and warmhearted service, tasty breakfast, private parking in the yard. Great value very close to Cēsis and Valmiera and other local attractions. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us and make our stay comfortable by offering room fans due to the hot weather. Room was very spacious. Carper was bit worn. Bed was comfortable. Hotel appearance needs little touch. Carpark was near hotel and free. Room had free wifi.

I think Its the best hotel In Priekuļi. Good location. The connecting Rooms great also for bigger families. Have wi fi in the rooms. Have sauna downstairs with a small cold pool. Convenient for wheels

Pictures are great, but you need to clean the place yourself. Toilet is outside and its whitout water. And smells like these toilets usually do 😊 Place is next to a open gravel mine, quarry, with excavators and huge trucks and a highway. In our house, fireplace\chimney looks really good, but it does not work.. At all! Got relly smokey inside 😁 I dont recommend to drink the water from the sink and shower...

Really great stay here! Location wise perfect if you want to explore the Gauja national park, not far from Riga, Sigulda or Cesis. If you want to stay somewhere a bit different and off the beaten track this is it. Fire pit, BBQ, sauna and rocking chairs to look out over the lake- just perfect. Our host was lovely, very attentive. I would come back and stay!

Cute looking hotel, but in the middle of nowhere, not even food deliveries deliver there. Could by my fault to not check where the location is beforehand. Anyway, the piece was very nice. But if you scared from forests in the night, think twice about booking this hotel. Room was first 18°C, after telling the girls on the reception, the radiator was turned on. We stayed in the separate house Annmarie, it was a great opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of a country house. The host was very kind and hospitable. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, allowing you to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a magnificent apple orchard in the area.

Amazing place, with an amazing host! The charming large country estate is placed in amazing nature, with a small stream running right underneath the house! A beautiful pond is available for swimming, and sauna and indoor pool is available as well.

Well-kept manor for overnight stays. Tastefully, artistically and modernly furnished rooms with everything you need. Well-kept rural nature in a large area. On arrival it was difficult to find the reception. The place is very beautiful and the people that work there are very nice. We had a beautiful and spacious apartment. The breakfast was included. One downside was that it is a little far away from Cesis.

Very cute girl clerk. Better to warn her in advance about your time of arrival. It is said that when a lot of people, it gets noisy, but we were there alone for the entire hotel so we were fine.

The rooms are great. Great Breakfast!!! Silence around. However, I heard that when all the numbers are busy, it is noisy because you can hear the neighbors. But we was the only ones there, so we were fine. Very scenic location for walks and Cycling trips. Near the river Gauja. A magical place.

We were with a bachelor party. Really good place, hostess, etc. There is a boat. No worries about the rules and music volume, because there are no neighbors. I have been to several guesthouses and I definitely recommend this one!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay ! You are surrounded by nature :) We stayed in winter and it looked just like out of wonderland! Inside is very cozy and warm , rooms are clean beds are comfortable, we used jacuzzi and sauna ! Definitely a place to come back! :)

Very nice place. Everything is so clean and cozy. There is a sauna which was immediately offered to light. It was a great tub. The host is responsive. Thank him for that. The pond was immediately near the cottage where we stayed and the depth was 1.75 m. The children were in the beam. I definitely recommend relaxing with family and friends.

Excellent hotel with a nice little restaurant and a good breakfast. Got upgraded to Junior suite and these are really convenient, spacious and nicely furnished. The hotel staff is also very friendly and helpful. Only down side is that the restaurant was closing at 7, bit I guess that's normal for valmiera during winter.

Nice place in the forest and just on the river bank. Very helpful and kind owners who found a place for us even it was an evening and the camping was full. Nonetheless I recommend to book before as it's a crowded place especially in the weekends.

A beautiful spot in the middle of the Gauja national Park. Comfortable little houses with very clean common bathrooms. Enchanting picnic area by the river with the possibility to use the hot tub right on the shore. A great traditional Latvian black sauna is also available and it's highly recommend. Linda can also organize a fantastic kayak excursion. Definitely a great place to spend a weekend.

If you’re visiting Latvia, I highly recommend staying at the Wolmar Hotel. It’s a comfortable 4-star hotel with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. However, the breakfast has limited options.

Close to town and easy to find and access. WC and bathroom needs refreshing. Close to roads and railway so it might be a bit noisy. No playgroud for kids. Fresh water for caravans is well placed.

In winter there is a snow hill, with option to rent equipment.

We were passing by for a short time. The place is beautifully cleaned. I don't even know which category to put the swimming pool or the pond near the sauna, it was with green colored water and you wouldn't want to rinse off after the sauna. If you are a large company and plan to actively relax all night, then this is not the place. place for grill.

Nice place to spend weekend...

Nice remote location. Bees speak to you in the morning. At night you can cook on a beautiful fire and hear the forest. Making love on the bed left a wound on my back, matress might need to be changed.

Cosy, calm, real close to the city center and yet feels so far away from all the noise. Almost all of the greatest Sigulda must visit places are fast to reach from here. In fact, in summer, you can easely have a barbeque at the place and listen concerts happening in the city concert stadium! Dogs are cute and the sauna is amazing!

We visited the studio in February. The location is very good, very close to the park and from walking distance from the centre and train station. The warm water was broken for one evening because of the cold weather. After communicating with the owner it was fixed as soon as possible. The hospitality was very great and atmosphere almost too good. Loved our visit and recommend it to everybody.

Very clean and tidy, spacious room and bathroom. There's soap, and shampoo, wifi and parking, also basketball court outside. The fridge is shared with others and there's no stove or microwave, the walls are thin, bed was squeaky. Also had trouble closing shower doors.

The place is well organized and tidy. The host is very proud and overbearing. Wall sockets are hidden, Wifi is off during the night. Walls are thin, water pressure is shot(also the pipes make a LOT of noise). No breakfast. Good value if you're not interested in sleeping or not disturbed by passive-aggressive hosts.

Hotel was in great location. Restaurants and shops were within 1km radius. Garden was very beautiful and taken care of. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, beds comfortable and there were free wifi. Kitchen, bathroom and toilets were for sharing. Host was very friendly and nice. There were also cooking and BBQ option. We all left there satisfied with our visit.
