The hotel is pretty run down. I’m guessing the last time the carpets or rooms were updated was the 1980s. We had a large family suite with a great view, but the bathroom was tiny. As in we could put a couple of toothbrushes on the sink, but had to store everything else in the bedroom. Located right on the beach. Great service. Food was a solid 4. Location is 5. I liked the food in small cafe at the entrance, more than at the restaurant. Also great inner courtyard, protected from the winds. SPA is very good: several saunas and large swimming pool.

Staff was super helpful and friendly! Definitely make up for the place. Breakfast was nice as well as bar area in the evening. This hotel is a bit dated in their rooms, specially bathrooms as well as no USB chargers. SPA area is nice, yet lacking free drinking water. Strange shopping facilities inside the building, reminding some Turkish hotels. Overall I'd say this hotel is 3* rather than anything...

The hotel is very worn out, long overdue for a major overhaul. The spa center is not a spa, but just a swimming pool with nearby saunas, there is no relaxation area. Definitely not worth the money paid, much less 5 stars, the hotel category is 3 stars at best. Breakfast is very good, a wide selection, but there were not enough tables during breakfast.

Overall is satisfying, but not for such price. So only 3*. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location few min walk to the beach. Large variation of SPA. But it was too much people in september. Room is spacious, clean but too oldish. Looks like it was build by soviets and never renovated..

I didn't stayed in a hotel there but I always visiting the spa centre. I like to get professional massage there with pearl bath. Good price €130 for a couple one hour massage and 30 min pearl bath. Very good staff.

We stayed for just one night and absolutely loved the experience! The highlight was the unlimited access to the stunning spa, which felt both relaxing and luxurious, definitely worth it. We also treated ourselves to a romantic massage for two, and honestly, it was one of the best massages we’ve ever had. A truly memorable stay, even if only for one night.

I stayed at the lilule jurmala for a few days with my children. I had a family room which did the trick. The rooms aren’t huge by any means but there is a separate room for adults and bunk beds for the kids. The breakfast was good. A very pleasant atmosphere. Professional, friendly, and helpful staff. Clean, elegant, and cozy rooms with comfortable beds. The hotel's strong point is the swimming pool with saunas and spa area. Beautiful views from the bar on the 11th floor. I will definitely return.

At this price level, this hotel is a great choice. SPA services are very good, pool is a bit small, but the selection of saunas is easy above my needs. By the way, restaurant menu à la carte is exceptional.

The hotel is not worth the price. Everything is there, nothing is missing. There are also irons, a washing machine and a dryer. The sea is very close. Awesome. The best hotel from my visits.

Lovely, quite appartment that can easy fit 6 people at reasonable price

Everything is perfect, very cozy, the apartments are tidy. We rent with friends, two families (3 children and 4 adults). There were two large bedrooms and one small one, two people could sleep on the soft corner in the living room. The landlady is very kind and helpful. We could use bicycles. , for free!!!!, very convenient, because there were also children's shoes, the park is nearby, it was great...

Quiet, green, cozy, picnic / grill places, close to the sea, but not crowded (no crowds of people passing by, since the street is dead end). On the territory there is a playground, sandpit, trampoline, bungee.

Fun. A lot of children. Finns and Estonians. Cultural Russian speakers, locals and visitors. There is a bungee and a trampoline.

Excellent rooms and service at affordable price. Short walk to one of northern Europe's best beaches. Bikes are recommended as it's a bit of a walk to get groceries. Bikes can also be borrowed and rented on site.

The hotel bridges the gap between past and presence. Modern "shabby look", classical antiques and temporary elements mix to a consisent, cozy atmosphere. An absolutely great restaurant to have dinner or lunch at. Great service - fast and welcoming; delicious food and drinks (the wine and cocktails are really good). The prices are not the lowest, but are quite satisfying for Jūrmala standards. Can totally recommend and will come back again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Joma! The service was both professional and friendly, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Its location on a convenient street, just a short walk to the beach, made everything so easy. My husband and I truly fell in love with this charming villa.

We chose this hotel for the second time. And I believe, that it will become our couple's tradition, to visit Jurmala and this hotel every year. The rooms are very cozy and I even would say - romantic. The hotel is autenthic by it's architecture. Very good location. When you exit hotel - you are in Jomas iela. I was here with our choir in 90s. its amazing place for me. A lot to remember. I adopted a little cat from this street near hotel and took to Ukraine. Called her like (I think it was a owner of hotel) Kristina. So if you know her say hello from me from Ukraine)

Quite economy ppace to stay 5 minutes away from beach. Rooms were quite small and parking quite busy.

The Sunset Hotel is a perfect base camp for adventures in Jurmala. Nothing too fancy but the receptionist Anzor will do anything that you can enjoy your stay. We had a mix up with our end of the reservation and they were still willing to keep good service level and I cant do anything but recommend Sunset for accommondation.

Perfect place to enjoy real spirit of Jurmala. Hotel is placed in old(renovated) house and it's located about 5 min walk from the Riga gulf.

Our rooms were located behind the main building in a separate building. Despite the outside looked outdated, the rooms themselves were very nice. Good beds and a decent bathroom. The breakfast was good, but not extraordinairy. We stayed in 2 rooms next to each other with 6 adults.

The room, although not large, had a lot of amenities we did not expect: electric kettle and tea; some plates, spoons, glasses and mugs; bathrobes and slippers; even a shoe horn. Cute, coming of age hippie-style family-run outfit in a good spot, opposite the museum and close to other attractions like the 'Inner Light' Art Studio or the train station. Situated right along a busy road and the train tracks means that it's a little noisy at times though...

High price does not match the quality. Shows that there is AC but it’s not working, so really bad to stay during hot summer night. Also, very noisy outside, next to the train station and main road.

Great location not far from sea and main beach. Wellcoming and friendly staff. Great breakfast. But conditioner was not cooling down temperature in room while leaving windows open isnt great option as our windows was with exit on main street and it is loud that way. Utilitys in bathroom also needs refreshment, as for this price range it is unacceptable to have rusty holders.
