Where to stay in Jurmala

+Very good staff (although they work too long shifts!) +Very good facilities, with 1.5h complimentary spa included per day -Only 2 central elevators, a lot of traffic and floors means a lot of waiting

Great location close to the beach and the woods, good service, pool and gym but the breakfast could be better and the elevators are very few and slow (if they work at all). Rooms are clean and nice but pretty tiny.

A nice place to spend holidays with family. Kids loved the indoor pool. A short walk to the sea. On the other hand, avarge variety for breakfast. Expected room to be cleaned daily in a 4 star hotel, but it wasn't.

Nice hotel with a good range of extra services. Everything was very clean. Rooms were nice. They seem to value looks over actual functionality at this place. Service was ok. At times we felt that we spoke the wrong languages though (not Latvian). Jurmala is a beautiful place to visit and this hotel is surely a save choice for families. Walk to the beach in 2-3 minutes

This hotel has a lot of good things about it, but ultimately some bad things that makes me leave not such a good review. First of all, I wouldn't recommend this place for couples or solo travelers, as it is very catered for people with children. The spa, jacuzzi and pool are basically playgrounds. Luxury hotel in a good price. The staff was wery nice. I really enjoyed the massage and wellness centre as well. The rooms were nice and delicious breakfast.

We visited just for pools and saunas. Brilliant place, lovely saunas and decent pools. Pool bar which is nice. I give 4 stars because there were many children screaming and jumping, although signs say no jumping, but not any staff around to tell them off, neither the modern parents: ( why these days children are so entitled that they can ruin enjoyment for other paying guests?).

We spent 4 days in this hotel with children. The room was on the 9th floor, semi deluxe. We liked everything! Nice, clean, bright room, excellent breakfast, good dinner. The spa, pools and saunas are great! We'll definitely come back.

Small pools. No ventilation and air conditioning working normally. Staff was not able to solve. Found exposed electric wiring on the balcony. Location is superb. Breakfast is good enough.

On cleanliness: The shower floor flooded and wouldn’t drain.It flooded to the bath floor and drained only there as there was luckily a drain there or else it would flood the whole room. I found out there were black hair on the drain and it was obviously clogged anyway because the sink wouldn’t drain as well. Hotel Jūrmala spa is located in a quiet and rich location in jurmala. The rooms are ok and not too fancy, expect the basic facilities. The spa is good and must be tried. Location is very quiet and next to beach. There are plenty eating joints near the hotel and small shopping center. Parking is paid.

Nice hotel close to the beach. I was bit disappointed that there was no tea set on the room. Also the bar tender in the bar was not very nice and had no willingness to serve us 30 minutes before closing hours. The breakfast was delicious.

Location is very beautiful, safe, and quiet. The houses in the neighborhood are very beautiful with a Victorian style. The rooms were ok, a little dated but good condition. The staff was excellent and polite. The SPA was amazing!!! I did the Garden experience and I highly recommend it. Felt amazing and peaceful. Pool is a lot of fun, overall it was a great experience.

The seafood and grill restaurant provides a delightful experience, featuring tasty food and professional waitstaff. The cleanliness of the rooms, however, is not up to par. Additionally, the prevalent use of Russian by most people around you might make you feel as though you are in Russia.

We were not satisfied with the room at first, but then we were allowed to move to the seventh floor and had a fantastic view. Everything was great, especially the spa area is fabulous, and the treatments as well as massages were very good. We had a great stay and will hopefully have the Chance to come back.

Curtains for front seat view so not make much sense but have been opened :) I mean if you book a seat view front view you should get sea view front view and not fixed curtain view blockers. Very good 5 star hotel. Located right on Baltik sea beach. Hotel has good restaurants, bars, pool , good gym and very famous for spa. You need to know this place to understand how good is it. This is Jurmala, unique place where pine trees going almost in to the sea water and this combination creates unique air , very healthy for human.

Kursi Hotel is a perfect place if you are travelling with family. They offer quite a unique range of rooms to facilitate your needs. In our case we were offered a two-storey room with master bedroom on the ground floor and kids room upstairs. Very nice hotel, great location, good breakfast and fair price for what you get. However, the room had a bit of funny smell. And we made a mistake by not checking properly since we were booking last minute. We wanted a hotel with a SPA zone (sauna and jacuzzi etc) however, this hotel has only Wellness center with massages and treatments.

Everything was super nice, the front desk man was helpful and a great guy. The spa was super relaxing and for a weekend get away this is the place where you can go and relax with your partner. Breakfast was good and they served freashly baked crousants and pecan pasetries! The cooks were awesome as well, was sad to see that one customer was angry at them just because the boiled eggs were boiled before...

Wonderful small hotel and separate villas with apartments. Good location, close to the beach, to the supermarket and local restaurants. Excellent breakfast but less table than it would be necessary. I"ll be back once more.

Excellent location for family staying in Jurmala. Nearby: beach, playground, Jomas Street, Concert Hall "Dzintari". Children-friendly, spacious, clean and comfortable. Underground parking is available.

High price does not match the quality. Shows that there is AC but it’s not working, so really bad to stay during hot summer night. Also, very noisy outside, next to the train station and main road.

Great location not far from sea and main beach. Wellcoming and friendly staff. Great breakfast. But conditioner was not cooling down temperature in room while leaving windows open isnt great option as our windows was with exit on main street and it is loud that way. Utilitys in bathroom also needs refreshment, as for this price range it is unacceptable to have rusty holders.

Nice and clean, spa/sports/bowling etc.👍 Waited 25 min for check-in and 15 min to rent bikes because the reception was empty! "back in 15min" on a sign. Breakfast you choose from a list, there is a few alternative and thats ok and fine but when they want to charge you extra (6,50 €!) for a glass of juice something is wrong 👎

Great small hotel just a short walk away from the beach. There is a restaurant downstairs that serves all day long (recommend chicken cutlets!) with a good selection. Swimming pool is a good size, but we only went once because the beach is amazing. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel so you can travel in Jurmala quite easily. And the railroad just a short walk away (trip to Riga in 20 min)...

Pizzeria was very nice place to visit. They have billiards (american and russian) and tasty food. We ordered Georgian Khachapuri and it was amazing!

We went to the restaurant there. The place has tables in the building and outside. We had to wait quite a while to order and have our food, however at that moment restaurant was crowded so it's totally understandable- in the situation I would say we got served relatively fast. Food was enjoyable, especially the apple strudel

Strawberry Mojito is a Mojito with real strawberries, not just syrup. Plus, the guys adjusted and, as I asked, instead of Sprite they added plain sparkling water to the cocktail. The shrimp Caesar is delicious and the sauce is excellent. The service is very good and pleasant.

Super traditional and quiet atmosphere. Private car park and close to other facilities, town centre and beach. Excellent menu catering for most tastes and attentive staff. Food was tasty and plentiful with kitchen happy to adjust dishes to accommodate requests. Fully recommended.

Cozy atmosphere inside, the building looks exotic and attractive from the outside, very advantageous location, almost in the center of Jurmala: next to the Dzintari concert hall and the beach. Quality food. Ideal for wedding celebrations in a small friendly circle of family and friends. You can spend the night in a hotel nearby.

We are very happy with our stay at the hotel. Great hotel service and golf course. The restaurant (+breakfast) is also very good.

Always extremely kind staff at reception and courses are maintained very well. There is a 9-hole PAR 3 course available as well as the main one. Driving range has Toptracer available for hire. Never had a bad experience so far!

To reach a golf course without navigation would be a bit ask for me, but we did. Big parking lot everything close so no need to walk anywhere far. Great hotel. Smallish rooms on top level but very well furnished and clean. Restaurant was pretty good too. Played a round at the executive course which was challenging and well maintained. Practice facilities are top notch. Perfect place to immerse yourself in golf life.

Had a nice midsummer dinner

We stayed there for two nights and I must say that the service was outstanding. We got treated with outmost respect and all of our wishes were fulfilled. The personnel were always positive and helped to answer all questions that we had. The food there was also something special. Overall I could definitely recommend to visit this place.

We had a special menu which contained plates from the normal menu. Camember cheese with a salad, shrimp salad, salmon steak, beef steak with amazing mushroom mashed potatoes, and a chocolate fondant for desert. All the dishes 10/10. Very nice and historical hotel with a beautiful garden in a perfect and central location. Exceptional service, good breakfast and good restaurant. Highly recommended. A great park a few minutes away for walks in nature but also with a good playground for kids and zip line from Spring to Fall.

I have been twice in Villa Joma, it is good location to stop over when travelling from Germany to Finland. Both visits were excellent. Service is very nice and friendly, food very good (even I took pasta with sides..) and wine selection is enough good for me. Breakfast need to highlight separately, nothing special but everything fresh and that breakfast room is very nice.
