Nice hotel, food expensive onsite

The hotel is new and elegant, and the reception is friendly. The rooms are a bit small. The rooms overlooking the sea are better than the rooms at the back, because the rooms at the back have a river or stream that needs maintenance and have a bad smell. I recommend the rooms overlooking the sea.

Second time here, but this time in a new building. Nice room, excellent soundproofing between rooms. Everything you need (water, tea, coffee capsules, slippers, robes…) is available. We had a room with a view of the bay, quiet and beautiful. The Internet was disconnected a couple of times, but this problem was quickly solved after contacting the reception. Elegant and lovely hotel complex with pleasant and friendly staff! The complex consists of a historical and residential part. There are amazing beach area with a pool, bar, and restaurant. I had such an amazing stay. The staff were wonderful, friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel and the location is stunning. The taxi services were a great addition for the swimmers. It’s my second time this year staying here and it’s one of my favourite. Rooms are very spacious and modern, rooms with marine view are a dream to sit with a coffee on the balcony and enjoy the marine views. Their new beach club is great also, only issue is I wish they would put sand on the beach instead of stones as the stones are not so nice to walk on and become bigger as you walk I to the sea...

Great hotel! Definitely recommend. Everything is very presentable and convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant with a sea view. Various delicious dishes. There is a wellness room with massage, shower, jacuzzi. Nice, clean pool. Private beach, sun loungers. The hotel staff does their job well, everyone is very polite. After check-out, you can leave your luggage and stay on the territory, swim.

We stayed here for just one night, which was enough for us. At £80 for the night, we didn’t have high expectations, and overall, it met them. The location is not bad. The rooms are of course a little tired, smelled damp. The breakfasts were not bad at all, buffet and they give you almost everything you might like. Huge hotel with promised free parking, but their parking capacity is maybe 80% of the needs, so luck factor is there for finding a lot. We got a family room, it was smelling of uncleaned aircondition, daily room cleaning was not guaranteed, the pipe was damaged, so after every shower there was an inner-sea in the bathroom...

The hotel is old, more like 2 stars if we follow Western standards. The beach is not private contrary to what is written. Note 2 beach bars/clubs nearby so if you don't like the noise avoid it because it's there all day and night (impossible to relax at the swimming pool for example and you can hear it from the room too). A beautifully located hotel in a location a little bit remote from Herceg Novi. Huge plus points are the team, the cuisine, the views over the bay and the gardens. First trip to Montenegro and stayed in early June for 9 nights and the weather was high 20s - low 30s. Lovely hotel, staff and especially the scenery around the Bay of Kotor. Nice hotel and nothing more Old rooms. The food in the hotel is really bad. Dinner and breakfast were bad. Anyone who likes to eat something delicious should not go to the hotel's meals. Nice place to stay, clean and very close to the border. On the other hand, we spent 2 nights and the room was not done, the breakfast is very expensive for what is offered (4'6 euros).

Beautiful hotel with extremely friendly staff and private beach. Only downside is the location, as the rooms are right across a ferry pier and the parking lot of the hotel is 200m away.

We absolutely loved our week at the Perla and would love to go back one day. We have 2 kids (11, 8) and they had a blast. Everything is really nice here, except you will have to walk on a stairs for a while because the apartment is up on the hill, just like most of the houses. Perfect view on the sea. Great price for quality you get. Housekeeper was very nice and help us whenever we needed. Main bus station is 5-7 minutes walking, super market same and well as beach. Only oroblem is getting back from the beach, upstairs (but that's Herceg Novi). Great place for vacation.

Lovely little place. Staff very helpful. Superb breakfasts that effectively saved lunch. We stayed for dinner twice and really enjoyed it. We were also very happy they provided an earlier breakfast and lunch they were under no obligation to do when we went to Dubrovnik. You ideally need a car but at least away from the traffic around Kotor.

Great hosts, amazing view, next to the beach. Clean and simply perfect for what it is, top value. Spacious parking in the shade across the street, highly practical. Also, Kumbor is not too densely populated and is such a great alternative. Beachfront bars and restaurants below the property are great value as well.
