Hotel Aria

I’m reviewing only the restaurant, NOT the hotel.

The food was very good & also very big portions! Unfortunately though the service was incredibly slow. The restaurant was not even half full, we ordered a bottle of water while we chose a main course from the menu. When we made our choice closed the menu we expected someone to come and take our order. We waited almost half an hour for someone, I signaled the waiter, he saw it and ignored me. Eventually we went inside ourselves to ask the waiter if they could come and take our order. A while after that they took our order, but again it took over half an hour for a simple carbonara. I think they were perhaps understaffed. Great food, but I hope they get more staff.

Podgorica has expensive hotels for Montenegro standards, and this hotel is no exception. When we arrived, they refused to provide a transfer from the airport to the hotel even if it was clearly stated on the website and on booking platforms, claiming they only provide it to the airport and not the other way around. The man on the phone was also very direct and borderline rude. The rooms were average, with hard beds, but OK. Breakfast has generous portions, but of average quality. In particular, the würstels seemed very processed. When checking out, a positive note: the lady was kind, professional and attentive - hopefully the others will be able to achieve the same level.
