Holiday visit. Arrived to find my booking for two rooms was canceled. Absolutely unacceptable. Have stayed there on a few occasions but will never use it again.

So, we've stayed at Hotel Podgorica, and it was basically the best experience a low-budget hotel can give you.
Big, spacious room with a king-size bed, a sofa, and two balconies.
Pros:
1. Very quiet location.
2. Relatively close to the airport (14 minutes drive)
3. As said, huge rooms.
4. There are lots of food options for breakfast.
5. Free parking spots
6. Friendly staff.
7. Clothes washing service is available.
8. The room cleaning service is fast and professional.
Cons:
1. No elevator!
2. Both balconies, which were detailed as "view to the river," did not have a view to the river. All you can see are trees that are blocking the river's view.
3. The rooms are looking relatively old-looking.
4. The shower has a hot tube capability, but the wire that connects the shower's head is just noisy and not user-friendly.
Also on that matter - the handles for cold and hot water are really annoying, it's either hot or cold, not both.
5. When we've asked for coffee on breakfast, we had to wait more than 20 minutes + asking two staff members for it. Weird.
6. Having two balconies, yet, smoking is prohibited. I'm not a smoker, but that's not ao fair.

The location is perfect, the service is good, the rooms are quite large and with king size bed, but the selling point is the breathtaking view from the balcony towards Moraca river which is by far the best view in whole Podgorica

Love the restaurant here, never visited the hotel itself yet. Great view, good prices and good service! It's a really great place in the center and not overcrowded. Recommend it!

I love the architecture of this place. I’ve not stayed at the hotel but I do like the restaurant there, great food and service, the atmosphere and the views are amazing. I’m a vegetarian and they cooked a delicious vegetarian risotto for me even tho it wasn’t on the menu, thanks a lot!

The rooms are old, worn out, definitely for a 4 star hotel it should be much better, the online payment system didn't work even though it was confirmed so I had to pay on the spot, all in all, the concept is not bad, it's good that they still preserved the cultural heritage.

Very good location near center of the town. Very quiet also in the night, except air condition. So turn it off in your room as it will probably wake you up. Food is very good. Delicious. Atmosphere is great and calm. Parking lot should be little bigger but it is what it is. Lady on reception is very kind and was willing to explain everything. Breakfast in the morning is excellent.

Beautiful view, peace in the very center of the city.Very friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. You must visit if you are in Podgorica.
I had chicken tortillas this morning - I've tried many, but these...Juicy, full of vegetables and chicken, homemade fries. I don't think you will eat better tortillas in Podgorica👏🏼✨

Pros: spacious rooms, nice balcony with good view, restaurant was nice, location is good.
Cons: There were stains on the carpet and some of baseboards were coming up. Additionally, the hospitality of the staff wasn’t the best. The wine in our minifridge had gone off- smelled and tasted like vinegar. I respectfully brought it up to front desk as I didn’t want to be charged for a clearly expired wine that I didn’t drink, but they insisted I pay for it anyway. I didn’t make a fuss and just paid. Very unprofessional and rude for a “4 star hotel” as they didn’t even apologize or try to fix the situation at all!
The other strange thing was the bathtub in our room. It was a jacuzzi-style tub but it didn’t work as a tub and was pretty dirty. The shower head wasn’t able to be attached the wall so taking a shower was not very comfortable.
Overall, not a horrible hotel but not up to par at all for a 4 star hotel, especially in terms of service.
