Clean and nice hotel. Staff very friendly. It has small and cozy gym and a spa as well!
For me it was important that it has supermarket,some coffee shops and places to eat. If you like to walk center is not so far away(30 min).

Great hotel with really good prices! The rooms were amazing and really clean. Also food was good!

Spacious, airy rooms, many with balconies as well which is a great addition. Staff were pretty friendly and accommodating which was appreciated. The buffet dinner had a varied selection albeit simple dishes, but definitely something for everyone. Breakfast felt a little more 'mediocre' for the quality but again they had a decent choice of eggs, cheese, meats, and fruit available so definitely gets the job done!

Do not Come here with a group tour, because there is just one elevator and the hotel begins from the second floor of the building. Breakfast was very poor, the only good thing about the hotel is there have fresh and delicious tiny croissants.

If I could put zero stars for the customer service at the hotel I definitely would !!
Our flight was cancelled and the airline arranged accommodation for us with this hotel. Rooms were okay no problem and restaurant staff were nice too
Problems started when we were checking out. They claimed we were supposed to pay a hefty amount of money for using their so called mini bar which was a fridge with drinks and snacks in the room .
When we checked in to the room , the water and drinks were already used, no chocolate bar etc yet they were adamant and rude and asked us to pay regardless. After a lengthy back and forth the manager was threatening to call the police which I asked her to because they were clearly running a scam with that mini bar. We weren’t the only ones who faced the same issue that day . Other customers complained about the charges too. The cleaners left half opened can drinks and water in the rooms and unsuspecting customers were left to pay for them at checkout. Due to this we even missed the airport shuttle meant to transport us back to the airport and ended paying for a taxi out of our own pockets. Anyone who thinks this hotel deserves bookings should think twice

Rating this place 1 star thought the rooms were good and location was good only because the waiter told that they were serving cheese popcorn in the breakfast but they were chicken popcorn n they were kept in the same serving plate as stir fried vegetables.
The server working there should know dietary restrictions and also he can't be unsure what's in the breakfast buffet...that's ridiculous that the staff doesn't know what's in the buffet.

I can't give this hotel enough praise. I am American and played professionally in Montenegro before being transferred to another team in Spain for the remainder of the 2021 season. I originally booked for 2 nights, but due to how long it takes to get a visa, I had to extend my stay to 8 nights. The staff were more than understanding and helped me purchase PCR tests, taxis, entertainment, etc. They all spoke good English and the food was delicious. The people were wonderful. The room was beautiful with a great view. The spa and gym were exactly what I needed during these hectic times. Thank you, Hotel Aurel. I can't recommend this place enough.

An amazing surprise at a great price. Expect a first class hotel/restaurant/mini-spa on the outskirts of Podgorica (airfield area). As a travel writer, I stay in dozens of hotels of varying types and quality each year. Hotel Aurel is ideal for business travelers, couples or even families thanks to its spacious rooms, convenient location, delicious restaurant, gym, tranquil atmosphere and of course... mini spa. With a steam cabin, sauna, Jacuzzi pool, full body hot/cold shower and sun loungers, the spa gives the weary traveler something to look forward to at the end of a long day of work or travel. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for a week and really liked the place. the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful. WiFi was fast. The only negative I can think of is its location, a little far from the city center, but taxis are cheap here and it takes less than 10 minutes and about 3 euros to get there.

The hotel is not suitable for groups, more suitable for business people who come only to sleep in the hotel, and this is for several reasons. The parking of the group's bus on a main road endangers the luggage unloaders, going up to the reception is done in a very small elevator that only allows 2 people and luggage, which makes it difficult to get to the reception and complicates the whole process of receiving and receiving the key, and also the same problem when leaving again. The air conditioner is not noticeable in the public areas, and the lighting also does not work in all places, which also makes it difficult to use the stairs. The hotel does not have a lobby that will allow the gathering or sitting of the group. The dining room is small, when there are two groups in the hotel a serious problem arises. In the dining room, the food is very basic, and not varied, requiring significant improvement. What would be noted favorably are large, spacious and tidy rooms, and general cleanliness in the hotel.
