The owner is a really nice and friendly person. 100% available and prompt in replies. The first day he was kind enough to give us a map and give us a schedule of all the things we could visit which was great. We also asked for recommendations on where to eat and they were great. First the most important: the room and other facilities (common dining room, hall, stairs) were spotless! The private gated parking was invaluable. All my requests and questions were responded to positively and quickly (e.g. availability of late check-out). The kitchen had a hob, kettle, and fridge. Air-con worked well. Terrace on the roof, (e.g. for drying) is accessible. Room was attended to daily...

I had an amazing stay! The staff was very helpful and amazingly kind. The place is very clean and calm. The room was very spacious and cleaned every day, as well as the bathroom. Main bus routes to Valletta at 5 minutes walk. I stayed 6 nights and the location was just perfect for daily trips. This is the perfect place to enjoy quiet time.

Cozy, comfortable and very conveniently situated in the center of Malta. Very nice welcome to enter the courtyard greeted by the sweet aroma of orangeblossoms. Room cleaned daily. Prices reasonable.

The hotel is located close to upper part of the Island with nice view to Sliema bay. The rooms are clean, but the fridge is paied extra. The breakfast is simple, without warm meals. Be careful, the rooms are equipped with English type socket. The swimming pool is nice.

The hotel is in a suburban area, but not far away there are very cheap businesses to buy food and rent scooters. Within 15 minutes by scooter you can be in St Julian's, Sliema or Valletta. The staff is nice, the room was big and clean. The swimming pool is not very big, but enough to relax. Good value for money.

Simple breakfast, should have a few more options (including a toaster!!) Fridge in the bedroom, but closed with a lock (??). TV did not work, and was not even fixed during my stay! They forgot to clean my room one of the days. Booked (and confirmed by email) a twin room, received a double room (but to be honest they did resolve the issue almost immediately). Lived at the Sundown while working in the shipyard, made a lot of good friends at the sundown great people great place, go back every year when I can. You people that moan about the place get a life.

Great hotel, food was the highlight - restaurant buffet delivered every single night of our stay with a different themed nights, and everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this hotel. My boyfriend and I had a lovely 12-day stay there. The staff is very friendly, the pool is wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. Rooms spacious and clean however ground floor patio area was tiny and overgrown. Our valley view was not so unless we stood on the chairs to peer over the hedge! There were many sports teams staying in the accommodation...would have been better had they put them all in one area as they were in and out of rooms at times when we were trying to sleep, causing a fair bit of noise.
