We booked a last minute trip to the Marriott Malta and it was without a doubt the best hotel I have stayed in. All the staff were brilliant, and the food divine! Ive Used this hotel 3 times, always stayed in a sea view room. The rooms were fairly dated and not modern. Pet peeve of mine is that the double beds are just two singles joined together, so you will end up falling through the middle where the two beds join depending how you sleep. We got an upgrade apartment 2 rooms 2 bathroom, amazing apartment equipment with kitchen and washing machine, which for us was stunningly good and we appreciate it! We got the buffet (breakfast) where you can get plenty options, thanks to Lina that she gave us an amazingly service while we were there. Great location with a bus stop right outside that is direct to the airport, and Ferry terminal is a very short walk from where you can take the ferry across to Valletta. Had a great stay! My room got upgraded from a standard room to sea front, the standard room is better for individuals who don't plan on using the room other than to sleep and shower. The sea front room was lush! Lovely balcony, nice view + full sun during the day. Sad that it was so noisy in the evenings due to the restaurants downstairs playing music + smell of cigarettes during the evening.

Centrally situated near to both ferries and bus stops. Rooms are on the small size but have large extremely comfortable beds. The sea view rooms are worth the extra cost but very noisy with traffic both day and night. Breakfast time is fairly chaotic but never had to wait for a table as they were cleared and relaid promptly. Evening meals were far more sedate although only available from 6.30 until...

I only had my breakfast there so I cannot say much more than that. Yet, the breakfast was tasty with the expectation for coffee which was simply terrible. If you want a good coffee go a few more meters to the nearby CinnaBon – that was the place that saved my days. For the price of breakfast I expected a better brew. I will give the hotel 5/5 as the whole experience was great, I will however point out a couple of ideas worth noting. The lifts are very slow and better sometimes to take the stairs if you can, not happy with some of the music on the sunroof by the pool, some songs using foul language such as the F Bomb. Had a pleasant stay at violetta. Beautiful boutique hotel. Lovely pool and bar area. Very modern decor. A quieter area than in the main seafront - about 10-15 minutes walk to amenities and shopping district. We stayed at the wonderful Palazzo Violetta in Sliema, from May 25th to June 1st. Our stay couldn't have been any better! Our apartment was absolutely incredible. It had two large bedrooms on a mezzanine level, 2 bathrooms (one with a bath/shower and one with a walk in wet room shower), an upstairs lounge, 2 large wardrobes, a downstairs lounge/diner and a small kitchenette. I was only there for one day to use the Spa, I found the deal on MaltaDeals. My stay here was amazing! It's pretty central to many areas. 10-15min taxi ride to Valletta, 40min to MDina, and the restaurants and bars are a walk down the street. My room and parlor were beautiful. There was a soaking tub behind the bed, while a separate shower and toilet room. For me was most important the location. Location is Top. Reception 24 hours. Sadly towels were old. Zimmer also was a bit old. But for 1 night was good. I took economy room. I could check in for half hour earlier.

Hotel Juliani was the perfect base to explore Malta and Gozo. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was very comfortable. The hotel is in a suburban area, but not far away there are very cheap businesses to buy food and rent scooters. Within 15 minutes by scooter you can be in St Julian's, Sliema or Valletta. Cathy was extremely helpful and provided recommendations on everything including what to do and where to eat etc. Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great for a cooling off dip after we returned from our daily adventures. The breakfast was good and included local treats. A little bit disappointed about the location, because even if close to valleta, in the evening we didn't found a restaurant nearby, jist some Asian food. But the room and personnel were really nice. They have a small dinner on the roof top and a small jacuzzi.
