Food was mediocre.
Had a shower and clean up, only to ooen duvet and see blood stained covers at 00:30.
Decided to sleep with sheet only and informed hotel staff the next morning. Their only main reaction was why we didnt call at midnight. No proper apology or attempt to make it right.
Only interest is to upsell.
Was informed the next morning that we did not have breakfast included even though room cost over mR 8000 for the night. Bought a al la carte breakfast which they dished from the buffet and gave us the wrong items ordered (basically they gave us what they wanted regardless of menu description.
This is a poor excuse for hospitality or service..........
Oh yes, asked to be transported to local mall the next morning. They have a shuttle service available and told us we have to wait an hour for the shuttle to leave. We asked to get a taxi as we did not eant to wait. Taxi was their shuttle bus wity their driver and he charged us mR 800 which we told him only mR500 as per front desk staff. He dropped us at 11:15 and told us he would be back at 12:30. We waited from 12:25 to 12:45 until we decided to take a taxi and pay to get back to collect our luggage.
Seems like one big tourist trap.
The hotel booking page said that we could check in at 2pm. We arrived at around 1:30pm, but the front desk said that we could only check in at 3pm. Considering that we had just finished swimming at the beach and wanted to check in earlier, the front desk was very considerate and let us check in at 2pm.
