One of the best that we have ever stayed in. Well done team 👏 the design of the hotel gives you a unique experience whilst facing the sea and watching the sunset each evening from our balcony.

What a great stay we had in Royal Palms. That was the perfect gateway for my family and I in a stunning place. The hotel is beautiful, human sized with a breathtaking view on the Grand Baie bay. We were able to enjoy a fantastic level of services and extreme kindness of the whole staff. Each of them made sure we had the best experience and ensured a very personalised welcome and service to make sure every one of us had the time of our life. From planning activities to make sure the toddler had perfect fresh baby food at any time to welcome us in the nicest way, everyone was top-notch! I cannot thank more Thana that made the guest relationship perfect from morning to evening (fantastic, super efficient and always really nice), the great staff from all restaurants including Sarah, Sepaul and his infamous “crepe Suzette”, Vanessa at the front desk, the kids club team and our amazing baby-sitter Corrine, the Spa team and Prada in particular, of course Tiga the best of the best tennis teachers (after 30 years of break he helped me a lot in getting back to tennis with the best possible skills), Arun and Yassin at the sports club and all the rest of staff! Thanks again and it’s not an au-revoir we may be back!

Luxury all the way! This is not our first time in Mautitijs but it was the first time we had such a fantastic service!Everything was incredible, the rooms were clean and spacious, the food was delicious, the views spectacular. The kids club had many activities and the ladies were super kind, the boathouse offered all possible nautical sports (snorkelling, windsurf, paddle, SUP, kayak, Hobycat and even wakeboard) all included in the price and super easy to go and do. No having to pay extra here, book extra there. Just easy and confortable, as a 5 star hotel should be. The service was exceptional, no matter where: beach, pool, restaurant, spa, tennis, gym or room. The only minus was the quality of the snorkelling in front of the hotel as it was not possible to see much, but they worked around it offering snorkelling in a good spot just 10’ boat drive away (they also have all the equipment to borrow). An absolutely paradise that is worth every penny!

We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. From start to finish, it was exceptional. We were greeted with a bouquet of flowers for my wife and a welcome cocktail for each member of our family. You couldn't imagine a warmer welcome. We were then immediately shown to our hotel room. When we arrived, we discovered we'd been upgraded. We were given an Ocean Suite, situated right on the beautiful sandy beach with its turquoise waters. It was a very spacious room with a separate area for our daughter to sleep. Everything was thought of in the room, with its unique and warm décor. And what about the staff? Every single one was professional, service-oriented, and exceptionally friendly. Special thanks to We Han, spa therapist, Narrain and Vishal, beach waiters, and Boomesh, bar manager. They made our stay even more special. Furthermore, the restaurants are of very high quality. From the exceptional breakfast to the evening meal, it exceeded our expectations every time. The staff even knows you by name, even after just one day! In short, highly recommended for anyone who appreciates hospitality, luxury, comfort, and service at the highest level: don't hesitate. This hotel won't disappoint.

The rooms, beach and hotel grounds are immaculate. Everything is very well maintained. Service is top-notch, as expected, and very friendly. Some of the staff has been working there for a long time which suggests good management. I met the director of the property and he was very nice. Everything was perfection, but I was a little disappointed with the food. They have very limited vegan options and my husband made sure that they could accommodate his diet months in advance. One of my most memorable staff members was Amrit who took very good care of us. One of the best concierge I’ve ever experienced. The hotel did accommodate us with vegan food on our last night. That was appreciated, however, since the hotel was notified months in advanced, we wish more food would’ve been available while we were there. That’s the only reason why I can’t give it a five star. Reminded The staff that my husband’s vegan, but nothing was done until the last night. I hate to compare, but we went to another hotel on the Island, and the hotel had a whole meal plan in preparation for our visit. I would’ve expected out from this hotel Thank you to the chef and hotel staff for a fantastic week.

It's been once again an absolute delight at the Royal Palm! Everything is catered for that you have an unforgettable journey! Sonduth, Jean-Pierre, Chef William, Raoul, Naidan (forgive me if I misspelled your name) and every single other member has been exceptional during our stay! Food and service are exceptional! The only minor point I have to give is for the new asian restaurant, it is a downgrade compared to the previous Italian restaurant. If you are looking for an exceptional service and food, combined with the best beach and sea of Mauritius, this is the place to stay at! Thank you to Mr Landrein and the whole team! Kindest regards, Nathalie

I have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Royal Palm. I have been a few times before but not for over 10 years. I am pleased to say that the solid, outstanding service has not faltered. Our suite was in ideal position, we enjoyed tasty breakfasts overlooking the idyllic view, lazy days on the beach, sumptuous meals in the hotel's main restaurant. I cannot fault this hotel, it is paradise found. My teenage daughter enjoyed it as much as my Dad and Uncle. The hotel offers every facility that you would expect from a 5 star hotel of such stature. The best chateaubriand ever and some fairly fabulous wines too! I could go on - but if you can make it happen go see for yourself!

One of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in! Amazing food however the menu was quite limited and there was only one restaurant in the hotel. The room was great, bathroom was STUNNING and nice balcony with amazing view of the beach which was very close to the room. Service was 10/10. Included fruits and snacks were stocked daily in the room too. There was included snorkelling trips and waterskiing which I did many times. Beach was so manicured and beautiful and water was crystal clear, staff even came to clean my sunglasses. Every morning the beach was stamped with the hotel logo too. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of variety in the buffet. Pictures I got of the holiday were breathtaking. The hotel wasn’t very busy either. I loved the aesthetic and architecture of the hotel. Great stay for those who want luxury and to relax but also great for families because of the many things to do.

This was our third visit. Lovely hotel and setting with fine food and good service. A small perfectly formed hotel with service at its core. House keeping top notch. Teams led by Bhavish and Sarita . Fresh flowers in our room and cleaning to a very high standard and we had no complaints. Friendly and helpful staff and some remembered us from previous stays which was nice. The only reason I gave 4/5 was a couple of issues that occurred during our stay. These only happened I believe as we were booked into the junior suite. Last two stays we were upgraded and as a result never experienced the hierarchy issue. You are allocated a beach bed by your room classification resulting in a seat at the back of the beach despite seats at the front being empty most of the time we were there. This in itself wasn’t a major concern but as returning guests we felt it was a bit disappointing and we didn’t feel that our loyalty to the beachcomber brand was acknowledged. The main issue though occurred at dinner. The night before the incident we were asked if we wanted to book a specific table for dinner so we said yes and it was agreed which one we would have. On arrival the following night there was a couple at the table and no apology was given and we felt this again was due to the unspoken hierarchy. I was upset by the whole experience and embarrassed. We will return because I absolutely love this hotel it’s location and facilities

We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks in early November. The short version of that it is absolutely flawless. Stunning views, rooms and the service from everyone was amazing. The hotel is boot cheap, but definitely value for money, if you're thinking about booking, there is no need to hesitate at all :) Emirates Business Class We flew out and back on Emirates and stumped up a big whack of money on business class. I have mixed feelings with the service from Emirates sadly. The flight out was pretty dismal in terms of service. The food options advertised weren't available for my wife's seat, but were for my side of the aisle. Not great considering what we paid and the attitude around it wasn't great. Emirates should be doing better than that in this day and age, you expect tui not to have food available, not fly better Emirates! Coming back to the UK was much better though in fairness. Unless prices come down significantly, we'll probably use an alternate option. Helicopter Transfer We paid for a helicopter transfer to the hotel and this was amazing. We were collected by a member of the helicopter company straight on the air bridge from the plane and taken to airside where our luggage bar codes were noted so they could locate our suitcases straight from the plane. While that was happening, we were collected by a bmw and taken to the helicopter terminal where we were provided face towels, drinks and food while immigration was handled by our dedicated member of staff. 10 minutes later, we passed through private security in the terminal and were driven to the helicopter, where we were lucky enough to be allowed to take photos, safety briefing provided and then off to the hotel. Our pilot was amazing, pointing out areas of interest and the flight took about 20 minutes. Our suitcases followed us by road so took a little while to arrive at the hotel, which we didn't expect, but no big dramas. If you're considering this, we really enjoyed it, maybe pack swimming stuff in hand luggage so you're not stuck waiting for your suitcases at the hotel (rookie mistake I know). Hotel The hotel is spectacular. As we landed on the helipad, we were met by 2 members of staff from reception / guest services and given fresh flowers and face towels before being walked to our hotel room, where check in took about 5 minutes. We had booked an ocean suite and they kindly upgraded us to a palm suite with direct access to the pool area and beach beyond. We were given 108 and this room was huge with separate sleeping and living room and a walk in wardrobe area in the massive bathroom, english sockets and usb chargers by the bed. Lovely terrace area overlooking one of the pools and the beach beyond. We would recommend this room, it's in a lovely spot in the hotel. We were given so many little extra things it was amazing. I was really ill the first week, infection picked up on the plane or just before, although I suspect the plane with the amount of co
