We stayed here for 2 weeks last November. Through no fault of the hotel the area is excessively noisy with loud-music cars, beach goers and party clubs on both sides. If this is your scene then go for it but if peace is your thing it's probably best to avoid. We were given a room overlooking the beach and while initially very happy we soon dread the noise, as it honestly does not stop. Many sleepless nights and the hotel refused to place us elsewhere even with other available chalets at the back. So if you are going to stay here, demand that you do not stay anywhere near the street side in advance. I cannot stress this enough. Underneath the rooms there is a off-license so drunks and car music ruin even calmer midweek evenings/nights - now imagine the weekends.
Other than that the hotel itself is budget so don't expect anything more than that. That said we had constant problems with the lack of TV service, nonstop running toilet, loud hotel maintenance, poor hot water and terrible wifi. The fare on offer in the food service is limited and becomes tedious if having an extended stay, although the dining staff are fantastic. The area is a tourist trap, don't expect value anywhere around you with prices on trinkets almost half the price in Port Louis. That said it is fairly easy to get around with taxis and buses right on the door stop. Overall it was quite underwhelming for what we paid, so I'd not recommend this hotel as a result.

Decent budget hotel. Don't expect anything fancy here. Can be a bit noisy as it is located near to main road and busy street.
The food was decent. Staff is helpful.

I’ll start with postives. Staff was very friendly. Lady at reception is really kind. I would also give a point for many plugs and parking lot but that’s it.
Negatives: The hotel has seen its better times long time ago. Very old and dirty rooms. Beds are like swings for kids. You can only lay in the center otherwise you’ll jump out on the floor. Shower nozzles sprinkle water in each direction but you. No shower gel or shampoo in room, just empty dispensers. Dirty fan hanging from the ceiling, I don’t know what for as there is functioning A/C in room. Loud music plays till late night from the streets - thin walls. Poor breakfast. I mean, ,Hallo!´ it’s the year 2025, wake up, please. We’ve stayed in many properties and cheaper than this one but they were all modern and clean. This property was definitely NOT worth the price.
Overall feeling, for one night stay when you’re traveling, okay. You’ll probably handle it. But for one or two week vacation? Never! Please, skip this place. And also Flic en Flac is not very nice location either if you don’t have money to stay in La Pirogue or Sugar Beach which is luxurious with gorgeous clean beaches. Other spots in Flic en Flac are dirty with lots of dead corals and stones. Of course, there are dead corals in Mauritius but here is the most of them and very big pieces and quite stinky, too. There are nicer beaches in Mauritius than Flic en Flac.

This Christmas I was in Manisa hotel with my wide and daughter and I got good room (see view room), gala dinner and very nice ambience during my stay. Location is very good; staff is very good. Particularly the receptionist “Miss. Anash”, she is really very good and helpful person.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel frequently. I stayed for 15 days, and every moment was a nightmare.
The food was absolutely horrible—buying the all-inclusive package was a complete waste of money. In my opinion, it’s terrible, and I didn’t use it after the first experience. The hotel itself is dilapidated, with cockroaches in the room and terrible Wi-Fi.
The staff, while friendly, have no concept of customer service or client care. The pool was unimpressive, and the overall facilities were far below expectations. I ended up going to neighboring restaurants and even paying day-use fees at more luxurious resorts just to escape this place since they refused to refund me so I can move.
Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more for a proper resort. This hotel was an absolute disaster, and I would never recommend it to anyone.

It was a very good experience and w'll certainly celebrate the end of the year party with my Senior Citizens Club depending on the situation of the COVID 19.

Checked-in Oct 2,2021 and all Covid-measures were implemented to secure a safe stay for guests. Anti-genic test upon arrival at the hotel, followed by another test on 5th day. Clean rooms, open-air breakfast served by the pool. Staff is very well aware of safety measures and very careful with guests. Hotel Management put efforts to re-open and welcome guests in the best possible way. Highly recommand this hotel !
