It had amazing views and cool water sports included with the booking. Like glass boat, water skiing, kayaking and scuba diving! Near the beach is also another beach in walking distance that had sting rays! The pools are great and not too deep. 1.2 M to be exact. Sandy beaches and beautiful areas in the hotel, WITH the extra restaurants in the hotel make it an amazing location for people of all ages. 5 stars.

We had a lovely afternoon tea with cakes. Saleem looked after us & was so polite. He made us feel welcome, gave us good advice on our drinks selection. He even made a non alcoholic drink for us. Highly recommend & a beautiful place

My stay at LUX Grand Baie* was far from the luxury experience I expected. While the hotel looks beautiful, the service was extremely slow—room dining took 2.5 hours, restaurant service was slow even for water, and the food quality was underwhelming with very limited options. I ended up ordering fast food, but staff refused to bring my delivery to my room, which was frustrating.
Housekeeping was poor—the pool was never cleaned, my bed sheets were not changed, and when I requested room cleaning, only the kitchen utensils and minibar were cleaned.
Checkout was chaotic—I waited over an hour for luggage assistance despite multiple calls and even visiting reception myself. When my luggage was finally taken, no one helped load it into the car, which was unacceptable for a so-called luxury resort.
The resort lacks entertainment—very limited water sports, no evening activities, and nothing happening on weekends. After 5 PM, your only options are early dinner or sleep.
Overall, this hotel is not worth the price. It focuses more on money than the quality and service, and I would not recommend it. My stay at Paradise Beachcomber was far better in every way.

My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary at the resort.
The hotel staff are truly amazing. They're polite, helpful and offered us the best service.
From the mocktails at arrival to the yummy anniversary cake that greeted us in the room....to the packed breakfasts at departure, they took the stress off us and made this a very relaxing holiday.
The food was divine. The Asian restaurant was such a fine dining treat.
our favourite dinner meals were had at the rooftop restaurant. The servers were proficient. Meals were served hot and in quick succession.
The location was ideal. It felt secluded and peaceful, yet was close enough that a short drive took you to local stores and market places.
The beach was kept in pristine order..as were the pools.
The spa has been by far the best one I've ever been to. Make sure to give it a try!

Amazing hotel with stellar service, the best sea + beach you can find in Mauritius and state of the art amenities (spa + gym).
The only caveat is the lights and blinds in the room can be a bit confusing as they are all very automated. The tech can also be noisy or at least ours was - especially the blinds closing and our reading lights.

This by far is the no 1best hotel in Mauritius. The service is amazing. The staff is attentive and there for all your needs. Whatever your wishes, you shall receive. The suites are stunning with modern interior design. 360 ocean view on all rooms. Many hotels promise you luxury and fail to deliver good service, at this hotel service is top notch. They should be graded 7*. Try also Lux Belle Mare one of their signature hotels in the East coast, superb.

It was amazing!! What a great service! Good was great and location is fantastic
The sunset is breathtaking the architecture is fantastic
The only thing that they could have been better is the curtains and lighting control, the curtains are too loud and the programming of the lights is not optimal
The cherry on the cake was the late checkout accommodating with our flight time!! That was awesome

What a great stay we had , we r family of 6
From the day we checked-in till checked out all we had is a 5 stars hospitality , penthouse is great and super clean. Breakfast is delicious with a wide variety
Spa , fitness center and beach are great too
Dining experiences are great from the rooftop and Ai Kisu , with a comfortable as well in dining varieties
Lastly ; Nadine is a great and kind host , she made sure always our needs are met , she definitely made our stay memorable

Highly recommend! Beautiful, stylish and modern hotel.
Wonderful service; Jerome at the concierge desk took great care of us, regularly checking in on whatsapp to ensure our stay was going well. Saleem the coffee specialist made great coffees in the morning. All the staff were so welcoming.
Stunning rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. Also really liked the pool downstairs with swim up bar and day beds, and throughout the hotel is beautifully designed.
If we’re being picky, the beach was a bit small, and being a child friendly hotel, it can be a bit noisy for those visiting as couples or on honeymoon (as we were).
