Very nice hotel with very well-kept grounds and very friendly staff (Deekap room service, Philipp luggage service). Beautiful view of the sea. Relaxation guaranteed. The gym could be better equipped, it lacks a power rack, a barbell with weights, a bench for bench presses, etc.

Cleaning is done in time, and towels and bath towels are replaced in time. It is better to buy bottled mineral water from the supermarket. The half-board buffet dinner and breakfast are very rich. The seafood restaurant that needs to be booked is very average, the lobster is not fresh enough, and the production level needs to be improved

They took us out when the current and wind was too strong, they should warn you before and recommend taking it another day. You feel very close to nature with their beautiful gardens. The beach in front of the main house is perfect for snorkelling and the staff is very helpful.

If you are into luxury hotels then Chanteauvent is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a cool, chill, down to earth place to stay with happy local people around you, then it's perfect. Nice place clean and just on the beach, they are all nice and kind, the room also is small but good for a couple. But they should be more flexible with hours, there were a couple leaving early in the morning but untill 8.30 when breakfast is ready at the reception there is no one. Photos from the website is not what you'll get as the place as aged and furniture has not been replaced. Don't let that stops you though, it's a prime position right next to Blue Bay, you'll want to book well in advance to get a spot here. food is good and staff is welcoming.

Rooms were clean, had a lot of amenities but no shampoo or soup. A very good hostess organized an inexpensive transfer to the airport and a hearty breakfast. Big thanks to her and her parrot :) There is a big shopping center "London way" a few minutes away. Behind shopping center one minute away there is nice restorant with a terrace "le bistrot"

Decent AirBNB hosting. In pictures is looking much more attractive. Quite hard to find it. We needed to ask a few locals, even when we got really close by. They can provide nice home made food. Made by a friendly Gran'Ma' :D

Nice place with a Wonderful atmosphere, you have some Restaurants nearby and the most important thing is that the beach is two step ahead... Located right on a small beach with spectacular view of the sea and the waves crashing over the reef. Close to blue bay public beach. The breakfast is simple but filling. The service is good and they would take care of most of your requirement. The eating options in blue bay is limited and public transport is also not regular Good place if you want to relax by the beachside

The staff is very kind and helpful. Especially appreciated was that we could move into a small room after checking out of our room, because our onward flight was very late. This gave us the freedom not to go to the airport at midday, when the flight was only at 22:40. Snorkeling on the little reef just in front of the hotel is nice, the coral are in better shape than at Ile aux deux Coco.

This place was great. It was The most comfortable and The cleanest place we visited in Mauritius. There is a giant turtle in garden which was awesome and The sea outside is The best for snorkeling. We saw more sea life there then on a snorkeling trip. Will definatelly return. Thank you again also for late checkout which helped me a lot with children. If you stay here you will find the paradies on the paradies island of Mauritius. Cecilia is the best host you can imagine, all the people are extraordinary friendly and helpful. We stayed one week and enjoyed every single day of it. Enjoy a freshly brewed coffee on the porch, watching the turtle wandering around or just enjoy the sound of the ocean.

Very cozy Villa by the beach. Very well equipped with all the things that you would need for a home stay. There is a house help here who can cook you meals. The staff is friendly.

It was an excellent stay. While the WiFi connection did get bad upstairs and downstairs, and there was no restaurant it was a magnificent play to stay, with an amazing view of the beach. You’ll also get used to the sound of airplanes flying overhead ?

Exactly what we needed. After 24hrs of flying, Astroea was the perfect stop for 3 days. Staff were lovely, room was good, food was great and the beach/views were stunning.

We had a bungalow. Service was top notch and the proximity to the beach was ideal. Value for money and quality of food isn't so great in the restaurant, so I've not been able to give it a five star experience.

Beautiful accommodation in Mauritius, very friendly and helpful staff here, the beach near by is absolutely perfect and usually quite quiet, I recommend this location, it had adequate facilities for our stay and the room was spacious and clean. The Staff were wonderfully attentive, warm and friendly. The room I stayed was exquisitely great and very close to the beach, plus I had excellent view from the room too. There is also a friendly cat that turns up every now and then when you are in the garden.

Strategically located accommodation. Food is not that great! but the locality is good for peace lover. WiFi signal is not that great but the staff are the best when it comes to offering service. I really appreciate their courtesy to offer me an accommodation after my check-out. Took a nice nap and shower before heading to Airport. The location is a big plus in case you wish to avoid the traffic.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. If your after a relaxing atmosphere this is the place to be. The food is excellent and the staff are fantastic. Wonderful views from the beach and restaurant. Can snorkel in the hotels private reef from the beach. To any comments about being excessive wildlife, remember this is a tropical island not the city centre.

you step out of the living room on terrace and beach directly, that was a real holiday in the tropics .. white sand, great for the little feet of our children! and clear water, wonderful place!
