Great experience with the captain on two trips at Shandrani. We sailed into the lagoon after smooth sailings as the weather was good. Safety explanations given then on our way. Sadly we did not see the turtle but saw a myriad of fish. The flute fish was everyones favourite. Well done Jean Francois we thoroughly enjoyed the diving trips with you.

The Resort is very big and you have literally everything you need and want. There are a lot of sport activities like sailing, stand up paddling, Kite Surfing etc..as well as snorkeling. The bay is pretty calm. Kavi the Houskeeper was the best and very polite, thanks Kavi! Also Nisha at the Spa did a very good, professional and particularly for me chosen massage, after she checked about my conditions...

I stayed at two bedrooms villa with a private pool for 7 nights. The villa was good and clean. We had a great time but it was not what we expected from an ANANTARA 5-star luxury resort and not worth the money we paid for. Just absolutely loved staying at this resort. From the check in experience onwards, the service just kept getting better and better. The activities offered by the resort was so worth it! It was a pleasant experience to be in this resort. Definitely could get your supple rest here be it for a short stay or a long weekend. Their employees made me feel very welcome. Rooms are good... Staff are nice and friendly. Next to blue bay which is good, free boat trip which is good, but the operators simply don't care... They took us out when the current and wind was too strong, they should warn you before and recommend taking it another day. Closest Hotel to the Airport. Standard rooms are small but cozy. TV options wasn’t great. Ambience was great. Hotel has a swimming pool that didn’t look like it’s being used. Room Service was prompt as I needed to call at night to have water bottle refilled.

Just a few minutes from the airport, they offer great services and the stuff is very friendly. I enjoyed my stay there. Thanks to the hotel manager, who was very helpful and recommended some of the local food, which I enjoyed very much.

You feel very close to nature with their beautiful gardens. The beach in front of the main house is perfect for snorkelling and the staff is very helpful.

Nice place clean and just on the beach, they are all nice and kind, the room also is small but good for a couple. But they should be more flexible with hours, there were a couple leaving early in the morning but untill 8.30 when breakfast is ready at the reception there is no one. Photos from the website is not what you'll get as the place as aged and furniture has not been replaced. Don't let that stops you though, it's a prime position right next to Blue Bay, you'll want to book well in advance to get a spot here. food is good and staff is welcoming.

Located right on a small beach with spectacular view of the sea and the waves crashing over the reef. Close to blue bay public beach. The breakfast is simple but filling. The staff is very kind and helpful. Especially appreciated was that we could move into a small room after checking out of our room, because our onward flight was very late. This gave us the freedom not to go to the airport at midday, when the flight was only at 22:40. Snorkeling on the little reef just in front of the hotel is nice, the coral are in better shape than at Ile aux deux Coco.

We have had the most amazing time at Tibambari. Everything is perfect and so conveniently located close to the airport, beach and local town Le Bouchon. Pool, cold beers, beautiful garden, comfy room... But best was the host family, their efforts to make us feel at home and connect us with the other travelers, eg via a common big breakfast in the garden every morning. Couldn't have been better...

quiet place for an unassuming vacation

This place was great. It was The most comfortable and The cleanest place we visited in Mauritius. There is a giant turtle in garden which was awesome and The sea outside is The best for snorkeling. We saw more sea life there then on a snorkeling trip. Will definatelly return. Thank you again also for late checkout which helped me a lot with children. If you stay here you will find the paradies on the paradies island of Mauritius. Cecilia is the best host you can imagine, all the people are extraordinary friendly and helpful. We stayed one week and enjoyed every single day of it. Enjoy a freshly brewed coffee on the porch, watching the turtle wandering around or just enjoy the sound of the ocean.

Very cozy Villa by the beach. Very well equipped with all the things that you would need for a home stay. There is a house help here who can cook you meals. The staff is friendly.

It was an excellent stay. While the WiFi connection did get bad upstairs and downstairs, and there was no restaurant it was a magnificent play to stay, with an amazing view of the beach. You’ll also get used to the sound of airplanes flying overhead ?

Beautiful accommodation in Mauritius, very friendly and helpful staff here, the beach near by is absolutely perfect and usually quite quiet, I recommend this location, it had adequate facilities for our stay and the room was spacious and clean. The Staff were wonderfully attentive, warm and friendly. The room I stayed was exquisitely great and very close to the beach, plus I had excellent view from the room too. There is also a friendly cat that turns up every now and then when you are in the garden.

Exactly what we needed. After 24hrs of flying, Astroea was the perfect stop for 3 days. Staff were lovely, room was good, food was great and the beach/views were stunning.

Strategically located accommodation. Food is not that great! but the locality is good for peace lover. WiFi signal is not that great but the staff are the best when it comes to offering service. I really appreciate their courtesy to offer me an accommodation after my check-out. Took a nice nap and shower before heading to Airport. The location is a big plus in case you wish to avoid the traffic.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. If your after a relaxing atmosphere this is the place to be. The food is excellent and the staff are fantastic. Wonderful views from the beach and restaurant. Can snorkel in the hotels private reef from the beach. To any comments about being excessive wildlife, remember this is a tropical island not the city centre.
