Overall a simple hotel to stay for the night. Just the curtain look dusty and sticky when try to get some daylight from the window

Everything was good but except one thing. My suggetion is please maintain your toilets and bathroom. I took a tripplee delux room but bidet shower ( toilet hand shower/ sprayer) was missing which is really a essential things. Im okay with rooms but that was a real disappointing thing. Please maintain your bathroom and toilets.

What you pay is what you get. Overall is clean. Very basic. The hotel is quite hidden but near to city centre.  Can be improved and if just for a night stay will be ok not more. Nothing around the hotel area.

Receptionist is nice and helping. Easy process to check in and ample parking space. But when we check in there's a guy lying down at sofa at reception area. Well since we check in late night and come with a family, we did feel a bit worried of that situation even if the guy meant no harm. But it's not a good repo to have that at area of guest check-in. Blackout and card malfunction until I change another room. Located near Aeon Mall and Tesco. Plenty of restaurants and shops but quite far from the old town(＞5km). Public transport is not efficient thus this hotel is probably only good for local tourists and those with cars. Provide portable water and lift.

Last minute getaway. Booked within same day of arrival. David called us to confirm our booking and we were able to check-in at 1.30pm. Compact room with no window. All basic amenities available. Toiletries from reception including hair dryer. No fridge in the room.

Great hotel Good value. awesome location surrounded cafe restaurant bar. Would give 6 stars if have as the owner is very friendly & helpful share localised itinerary so that we can enjoy the most of our stay.

Awesome service, the lady at the check in desk is very helpful. Though the room is a little bit small, there was some smell in the room but overall it was reasonably clean. The location was really awesome. It was near to the tourist spot and a also a walkable distance from the train station if you arrive by train. If you are on a budget and just need a small room, I would recommend this place.

If you wanna have somewhere near the train station, this hotel is great. It's also walking distance to concubine lanes. Other than that, it's a very basic hotel with basic things. Shampoo and bath soap collect upon check in at counter which is a great idea. Cosy when you enter, however, becomes strangely stuffy along the corridor. Owner need to do something about ventilation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brick Box Hotel mid July 2022. It a very well managed hotel. The hotel is very clean, each room has A/C and its own bath/shower room. The hotel is very centrally located in the old town Ipoh. The hotel is a short walk to all the famous Ipoh eateries, cafes and the famous Concubine street.

Room is clean, The shower is excellent. Toilet is very clean. Hotel is near lots of restaurant and just in front of Lotus supermarket. Amble parking but you have to pay as it is a street parking. Quite far from the town but if you travel by car, then no issue. Will book again.

Room is clean. Toilet is all transparent glass only suitable for couple coz can see inside. The only thing is shower room is a bit small. No free car park but u can download apps to pay your carpark. Staff is friendly.

Twin bedroom was clean. Air cond functioning well. Beds comfortable though pillows too soft. Kettle, hair dryer and water heater all working. Not sound proof, especially noisy when there are guests shifting in or out . Good enough just for sleeping.

The location is next to MyDIN Mall, and very near to Amanjaya Sentral (Bus Station) Lots of stall and restaurant near the hotel and not very crowded place to stay. For parking, their are lots of it behind the hotel, but as always, park at your own risk.

Location of hotel was great! Cleanliness was not there as room says no smoking but there was a cigarette in the dustbin. Checkin took awhile longer than usual.

The pillows are too flat. Provided drinking water, hot and cold. Very convenience including iron for ladies especially for their scarf. In the room itself, water flow is very good. Everything about this hotel is nice! The decor, the customer service, it is a nice hotel for a short stay. Located at the very heart of Old Town Ipoh. There are cafes and other attractions nearby. Everything is a walking distance. However, do note that there is no elevator here and you might need to walk up the stairs to the third floor room.

Our family stayed at the Happy 8 @ Pasir Puteh and had our wedding ceremonies there. The host was very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. The decor of the place was super artistic and makes for really good pictures. The place was clean and well kept. We had a very comfortable stay. Will recommend for anyone visiting Ipoh!
