I stayed at this hotel for one night on a business trip. The room size is adequate for a single person like me because there is enough space for me to pray, the toilet is large and has a glass separator (yes, I prefer dry toilets), but the shower area is a little dirty, especially the bottom of the walls (which look disgusting), and it takes a while for the air conditioning to get cool/cold. Very well kept rooms. It also has a lot of shops nearby making it more convenient. One thing about this hotel is that it has a public ironing room which uses a steam iron (which doesn't work). But, other than that, The staff is really friendly.

Surprisingly the room is super clean, no stain on the bed or the pillow. Even the floor feels very smooth, the bathroom looks clean too. The only part is the room is not soundproof, you can hear people talking outside and even the next door. But during the night time it was quiet, so no worries. Can hear next door chit chat sound, my room the fridge doesn't work at all. My friend stay next door with breast feeding baby told that she throw away her breast milk Few pack of it because of the fridge doesn't work well too. The family room the bed is so comfy. The Malay staff help us send luggage is so friendly, and the girl too. Overall is just ok.. Just the fridge, please fix it.

This is an excellent hotel. It offers all basic needs a traveler wants well - a cozy atmosphere, a nice bed and comforter, and a very practical bathroom. They pay great detail to the quality of the bathroom amenities. I would stay there again, if I ever visit Ipoh City.

hotel is at the heart of ipoh. near to mosque and food court. family room is big, but the hotel does not have elevators. room doesn't equips with kettle but they provide water dispenser on every floor.

We got twin single bed room. The room is good enough for you to stay a night or two. If it's more then you'll think you live in a cage. The bathroom is great. The water heating is working. Got shower gel and shampoo so no need to bring your own. There's no toothpaste and toothbrush and towel provided so you have to bring yours. Our flat screen TV is not working for some reason but we don't bother...

The location is on the old town side. It is very good, near the street art and train station but there is very low wifi signa. If you want to walk alone to the night market that is on new town side at night , I'm not recommend because I think the way is so dark and quiet.

It was very clean and despite it being a small room for a couple, it felt like a good amount of space. The bathroom was clean and we liked that the room was clear to show the divide of where to take off your shoes and where you can leave them on.

took room for 3 pax. room size ok for the money we paid. beddings on both single & king bed were very comfortable. hot n cold showers were superb. you could not ask for more

Hotel room is big and clean. Plenty of parking space. Location is in the heart of Ipoh. Easy to access around Ipoh. Chang Jiang coffe shop near the hotel too.

Overall, it was a really good and pleasant experience for my husband's birthday stay. The staff was very thoughtful to serve us a piece of cake and surprise us with an Indonesian birthday song for my husband, and they also managed to prepare beautiful decor for the room. The breakfast is somehow very good. I'm going repeat it again!

I totally love our stay for 2 nights in here! A shout out to the front desk lady name Raidah. We were exhausted when we arrived and she welcome us like we are her family. One of my favourite place to stay in Ipoh since the location is so convenient for those who want to binge on dim sum while in Ipoh. It is close to Ipoh Parade, Dim Sum joints, restaurants, and Gerbang, so overall the location and price is good. Nice place to stay, basic necessities well equiped. Bathroom a little small however is good enough, heater of the shower is a little too old as it produced loud noise. Highly secured where access card not only to enter the room also the main entrance of the hotel. Friendly staff, location perfect to get to caves and restaurants and tourists spots. A very decent budget hotel. Very basic room yet spacious one. Clean. Good enough to spend a night after long drive. Not really a vacation choice. Some leaking plumbing issues. Had to be careful when entering or leaving bathroom because it's high beam. Located just fee kilometres from the highway exit.

My stay in hotel was very warmly welcomed by staffs of your hotel. Got a good service all round. From the concierge, parking, coffee house etc. I must say Chef Joe was a very friendly and polite chap. I was overwhelmed by his service. Nice comfortable hotel, impressive foyer, the rooms are spacious and air conditioned. Easy walk to a park across the river with eating places, basement car park with lots of space. There is a gym and swimming pool - not tried yet. Minor niggles - a few carpet stains in the room, rain shower in bathroom not working, toilet cistern lid needs to be lifted for the flush to work.

Room with King size bed was very spacious. Level of cleanliness/housekeeping which is of utmost importance is at acceptable level. It was surprisingly quite a pleasant stay although they were running at full or almost full house.

The owners can't speak English very good but they are really kind specially the woman:) Tho house is wooden so it's super noisy and you can feel if somebody is walking in the upstairs. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is basic:) Also the location is good on the middle of city center.

Travel from Singapore to Ipoh by bus and alight at Jalan Bendahara. Approx 5-8mins walk to the hotel. Reception allowed me to check in earlier at a fee because its 8am and I really needed a place to rest before I start my day. For the price especially just for a night’s stay it’s pretty decent. It opened in 2012 and it definitely looks and feels its age. The deluxe family room is nice and spacious but everything else seems weathered. It’s in a good central location for those who know Ipoh well. It is a OK, Pro - cheap, clean, good AC, TV with DVD player, lots of space in the hall with tables and chairs. Con - very low water pressure and inconsistent house keeping. Was accused of taking towels when towels were not provided in the first place when we checked in.
