Very reasonable prices. Friendly receptionists! And comfy rooms with quite a number of tv channels to choose from. Worth it.

Quite reasonably priced budget hotel. They have rooms with no windows too. Ample carpark spaces with a guard around. Now even has a convinient store at lobby.

This place is clean and the receptionist very friendly. But my room have some issue with airconding. The best part it's near aeon, Tesco and lots of tomyum restaurants.

Clean and comfy. Parking is a breeze, many lots available. Walking distance to Aeon Station 18, Maybank, Subway etc. My only complaint is that the air cond is not cool enough.

Swimming pool rules like visit hospital got hours can play it. At evening starting time at 5pm but got limit hour. Other swimming pool you can use 7.00am to 7.00pm

Manhattan hotel is a hotel located in ipoh city. Is around 10 to 15 minutes from ipoh city area (depends in traffic conditions). Room is above average, clean and minimalistic. Only one problem, that is parking for car, hotel have their own parking in building basement, but only 4 parking is available, when parking is full, you mau need to find parking near hotel, and parking is with your own risk...

Unexpected feelings. Too good for a budget hotels. Quite pricey due to public holidays but it was justify with the room quality and friendly staff there. Very satisfied.

Budget hotel. I spent about rm50 after discount Water is too slow but heater is functioning well, aircond abit noisy but cold. Pillow a bit old but not smelly and still bearable No toileteries provided Sound proof okay okay.... Overall quite satisfied for budget hotel, had a good sleep before working next day.

This hotel is my go-to hotel everytime I want to stop over between northern states and KL. So easy to get, right beside the NSE. 7e is nearby and some other Chinese restaurants. Petronas and starbucks are nearby. Acceptable condition and clean hotel, enough for a short stop.

The room smelled like there is someone smoking in there. At the same time there are cockroaches around. Appreciate if there are parking available for guests too. Thankful for the deposit refund that was done early and on time.

The front desk staff needs proper training especially the day staff.i found them rather rude and unprofessional when handling guests..they definitely require TRAINING. Overall,its value for money and room was spacious,clean and well eqiuped.

The hotel is in the city centre so getting to places is relatively easy. There is a Sunday street market around the hotel, so driving out may be a challenge till noon.

Clean, nice, best dorm to stay in Ipoh town. Dispite it's location it's a bit far from town from walking distance but you can still get food in nearest restaurant. The famous Chinese white coffee restaurant is not far from the dorm. Strongly recommend to stay in.

Everything is perfect. This is my favorite hostel in my whole trip. The hostel is fully equipped with air conditioning, hot water, shared space, wifi,... If I have a chance to return to Ipoh, I will still choose City Hostel Ipoh. Thank you very much!

Stayed there in the weekend in December. It was 28RM only, super cheap. The staff is freindly and helpful. The room is not completely private but not a dormitory. I mean there is a door with a lock but the partition is not completely covered, so you can hear voice from neighborhood easily. It is not very very centre but walk into busy area in 5 min. The shower is OK and the hotel provides towel....

The room smelled of cigarettes when we first entered, but the waiter immediately changed our room. The service was very good, but the soundproofing was not that good. It was still good.

We booked this hotel because it had received some good reviews. When we checked in the room was ok. The bed was facing a long window with a view which is great if there is a, seaside, city landscape like Twin towers, nice lake or scenery but unfortunately the view was another building and empty land. The beds were comfortable and the room was quite large. The bathroom and wardrobe was ok...the amenities...

Got emergency at 12midnight, so directly walk in to this nearby hotel. Room with king bed size rm148. Big bathroom, and got partition for tv area. Also free brush teeth set, shampoo and shower gel.. we request for late check out on 2pm but the receptionist call us at 1pm.. but its ok, overall my family satisfied with all the services.. air cond function very well

The hotel is situated in city area, no parking, only the public parking around. The hotel is not sound proof, night there are alot of pub just below at the back of the hotel but very noisy difficult to sleep. Anyway it is just until 2.00am. The place is a bit run down, my daughter bed got bed bug, and it bit all around her thigh. Got a change of room and end up she was given a bed with no bed frame...

A no fuss hotel but come with all the traits for a good night stay. The hotel location is near the tourist spots and night market. Walking distance to all food eateries nearby. Do visit the roof garden to chill out with a beer and enjoy some view

The hotel was really good, the room was huge with big double bed, en suite and computer screen and air con. Seemed clean, location ok, common areas of the hotel are large and spacious. Only downside is the chair was broken you couldn’t sit on it, there wasn’t much toilet roll and I had a room facing the road so you got quite a lot of noise off the road. Noticed a small stain on the duvet cover.

It’s located near to Ipoh night market .There are so many abandoned buildings near to this condo .Parking available.Good view from rooms .You can definitely enjoy sunset from your room itself .There are some bars and coffee shop beside the condo .Very peaceful place to stay with family and friends

I stayed here from 15-17 March 2025. Location was great. The condo not so good. The water pressure was low. The bed was facing the door which is not appropriate for sleeping. Dead cochroach n spiders around. Bed uncomfortable cos whole night itchiness.

When you pin “The Majestic Condo Ipoh” on Grab, it will direct you to Tower A. If you are staying in Tower B, pin “Restaurant Yin” so that arrive directly at the entrance of Tower B. On the same row as Tower B, there is a convenience store, a laundry and a luggage storage service, making it very convenient for guests. . The location is strategic—just a 5-minute walk to Restoran Tauge Ayam Lou Wong...

They’re lacking a lot of basic stuff that’s expected from a hotel: there’s only one single hanger and they don’t have handwashing soap(???), also the water heater is super hard to adjust. Expected for the price though. DO NOT DRIVE OUT OF THE CARPARK AT SUNDAY you won’t be able to go back in there’s a flea market that blocks the road. I recently checked in at D Eastern Hotel Ipoh. Even though it’s an older hotel, the interior looks newly renovated and is very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, and most importantly, the price is very reasonable. Overall, it’s a great value for money stay!

I spent 3 nights at D Eastern hotel and I absolutely loved my stay. Anjeli, the lady at the reception was so helpful. She sent a map of places to visit in Ipoh to my phone. She wrote downn places I could eat and also try some special snacks of Ipoh. On the day of my departure when I thought I could just go to the train station and buy a ticket to KL, she checked online first and discovered all trains...

The hotel is located in a not very attractive part of town, about 20 minutes' walk from the main attractions of Ipoh (main train station, old town, etc.). And there is no breakfast, which is not a disaster, because there are several cafes in the immediate vicinity. The room was large and well equipped, although nothing special. The receptionist, on the other hand, was extremely friendly and helpful

Location is nice, not far from Lotus and Aeon. The room size is small, no window, no hairdryer, thin walls. You can hear a loud noises from the lobby area. Kids were screaming and running until midnight and music was playing by the staff maybe. However, I could sleep well around midnight. Toilet is big and have hot water 👍🏻 Free parking in front of the hotel, first come first serve.

The family room is super comfortable! I went there with my friends total of 6 people and we had so much fun in there. The room was large, there is a TV, hairdryer, lots of cabinets, and multiple beds. It was very amazing to stay

Quite affordable and clean hotel for short stay in ipoh. There is kettle, mini fridge, bottled water. Do bring your own room slippers and toothbrush. There is a 7-eleven beside. Our twin bed bedroom on level 4 faced the main road hence slight car sound.

Room is big but dusty. Cleaners never did a good job. Cable TV channel available. Don't stay at ground level 101/102. At night they burned mosquitoes coil and can smell the smoke through the aircon. Location wise convenient. Every morning there is market opposite. Beside there is a Taiwanese restaurant. Across the street, kopi tiam serving good wanton mee and fish soup.

The designated non-smoking area is violated by someone who keep smoking between 7:00 PM and 11:30 PM. Despite three separate requests for intervention made to the front desk, the situation has not been resolved and appears to have worsened following each report. Really disappointed.

Near to the city center, quite convenience. Just the sound proof is not good, unable to deliver a good sleep if you are not enough of tiredness. The staff are considered friendly. The hotel staff is very helpful, courteous and friendly. Since I am using wheelchair, they got me a very good room. It's peaceful there. Even the housekeeping staff is very helpful and courteous. I enjoyed my stay of 2 nights there so much. Next to the hotel got Chinese restaurant and Japanese restaurant which is so convenient. Will definitely come again and highly recommended.

Room looks exactly the same as advertised. Love the simplicity of this hotel! Toilet is clean, aircond is working, bed is thick and comfortable. One of the best hotels that I have stayed. Will definitely come back again if there's a chance!
