Hotels in Kangar

Old hotel, poor management, they not fully refill the condiments even we stay for another night. Breakfast: not much of it variety, nasi lemak,bihun, 2type of fruits,bread that’s all Room: spacious for a queen bed room but it’s turn creepy in midnight. Sounds of hammering/ knocking, it’s really exist, even the staffs said they been hear/seen paranormal events. Swimming pool: ok, but the children pool...

Clean and spacious rooms. Reception and coffeehouse staff are friendly. Coffeehouse opens for dinner - convenient for tired travellers. Breakfast buffet is good, especially the kuey tiau.

Decrepit n long past its prime. Staff very nice though. Ask for refurbished room but do keep expectations low.

The room (uruguay which is the name of the room) was spacious, clean and comfortable. I really love them. We reached there around 3 am, where the staff waited for us as we have alerted them regarding the arrival time. No problem with the parking space. There is only stairs available so it is not convenience for handicap, sick and very old person. Other than that it is a very affordable and comfortable...

Nice place. Affordable and cheap. There is a cafe inside the hotel itself. Clean showers. Flat screen television n more facilities.

A decent, reasonable place to stay in Kangar, Perlis. But yeah, a bit difficult for someone with big and heavy luggage as they don't have elevators, just stairs.

It was quite nice place there. But there was too many water in bathroom. Personal isn't good in english, but theye were nice.

Update on 1st August 2019 - have visited this place a few times since the last review. The bed is as comfortable as ever. Room and the sheets are clean. Washroom is roomy and spotless (generous with the toilet paper too). The workers seem like one big family, which lends to the whole "personalised service" feel they give. I was impressed with this motel. For a motel, it was quite good. Eventhough it only have 2 floor, they have elevator. It’s small but still can fit 4 people with 2 large luggage bag. The receptionist is friendly and gave us great recommendation for nearby eateries. I saw there’s cafe inside the motel itself but haven’t had the chance to try it out. Will try it out in the future if I come here again...

Small but nice and convenient place to stay. Got elevator despite only 2 floor. Room is big enough with essential supplies given. Got free coway and kitchen cafe which is delicious with affordable price. Recommended!

This is my favourite place to stay whenever I go to Perlis to visit my relatives there. The place is just nice and convenience, complete with all amenities. There is a small convenience store, a cafe (nice food), water dispenser, surau, public toilets, novels and nice decorated area for guests to take nice photos. Great location too.

At first we lost too but then can find it easily just at the road side and sleepless night. We managed to get less noise room

Room condition nice, tidy and clean. Receptionist polite and helpful. A bit problem regarding air conditioning. Take long time to fell the cool. Have towels and sejadah.

Clean but can be cleaner especially white linen has to be super white. Nice strong shower. Proper parking and surprisingly 7elevan just two minutes walk.

Clean and nicely furnished, good service. Superb, simple accommodation with affordable price surrounded by a lot of convenience stores.

Decent, no frills hotel. Comfortable enough for a good night in with air-conditioning, working desk, queen bed and shower with hot water. Towels provided. No complimentary drinks or bathroom amenities i.e soap, shampoo etc provided. Eatery are plenty nearby and mini-mart is just next door.

If you want a hotel/motel just for rest and sleep, this is the right place. Cheap and affordable. No breakfast. Water heater provided. There is shower gel provided in the toliet. Mineral/drinking water you can buy at the reception. You can easily find a grab driver to go to anywhere you like around Perlis.

The room condition are good but the tv channel are liltle bit dissapointed and refer to the price, the hotel should provide some basic amenities such as shampoo, soap and maybe a tootbrushes.

17/06/2018: Checked in late, the receptionist offer lower price than normal. Has comfy bed and clean bathroom (despite sharing) and working facilities. I would give it a 4 since I haven't spend a full night here. Probably I would visit here again and do an updated review (I didn't manage to get more of interior photos as I was rushing this morning) If you are looking for cheaper price hotel/motel...

5 stars for Large room and shower water pressure. No worries for parking. Is right next to the hotel Quiet environment

Room-wise is okay but you can see it's an old hotel. Even the AC is old but still functional. They have only one lift but is very small. My SIL had a gruesome experience there. Definitely a scary hotel to stay in.

The room was okay... Service I give 5 🌟 because the hotel provides towel, floor mat, kettle with 3 in 1 coffee also mineral water.. You can use a hair dryer also. No iron in the room may be upon request..We stayed for 2 nights to visit relatives.. When you were in Kangar but need bed to sleep this is the hotel. Room is little bit bigger than the new hotel next to it. No complain. Don't expect much. Clean. Not luxury hotel. Ample parking space. Very near to Kangar Mosque. Walking distance into small town of Kangar

Very good! Worth it!.. good facilities including free big space parking , friendly receptionist. There's hair dryer, fridge, spacing area right for solat. Clean room. No smelly smoke odour like any other budget hotel. And the most important aspect is ( it located exactly at the point of kangar town). I came with ma Family for family vacay. Love it.

The place is quite comfortable for night rest,complete with hot water,TV with usb cable,aircond.surrounded by hens,turkeys,as it's a personal property.far from the main roads,just a little bit hot at the beginning,then ok.

Clean and New rooms. Aircon, hot water, soft bed. The owner is simply the sweetest and kindest malay I've met. Super friendly. Nice atmosphere and nature views

The manager couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. They loaned me a kettle so I could make my morning coffee. Everything about the room was great except the unpleasant smell of the pillow. Good water pressure for a hot shower. The grounds were nice with a pet rabbit and some chickens. I had problems at the main border crossing and he suggested Pedang Besser. No problem.

The owner are very friendly... Just feel very lonely during weekdays... But have lots of chicken & duck keep you accompany... Feel very kampung...
