The room (uruguay which is the name of the room) was spacious, clean and comfortable. I really love them. We reached there around 3 am, where the staff waited for us as we have alerted them regarding the arrival time. No problem with the parking space. There is only stairs available so it is not convenience for handicap, sick and very old person. Other than that it is a very affordable and comfortable...

Nice place. Affordable and cheap. There is a cafe inside the hotel itself. Clean showers. Flat screen television n more facilities.

So far so good ... receptionist OK, bag service OK, clean hotel, breakfast OK, spacious car parking, spacious room, swimming pool is comfortable for children and adults ... there is no emphasis on this thing .. everything else is perfect ... good job 👍

For a 3 stars hotel, it has provided sufficient facilities for my short trip. Spacious room, basic amenities, tasty breakfast range and even a newspaper in the morning. A bit old and outdated, no complaint as it is worth its price. Recommended!

Although its a abit old and contemporary but have the rustic feeling and alot of ample space in the rooms. Have one of the best amnesties i had in hotels i been to.

Was very satisfied with the room and bathroom..got ourselves a deluxe-room by the way.. the bed was spacious and clean.. Located near Alor Setar city and breakfast provided is was good for the price of RM8 though.. But we were a bit dissapointed with the front desk device

OK for a short stay.. breakfast is alright.. malaysian food will be plain rice, one lauk and fried mee. Western food: potato wedges, scrambled eggs, chicken ham slices, bread. Fruits and some kueh.

Location is superb in the middle of city center Alor, with restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. No frills get your sleep kind of hotel.

There is a leakage due to the broken water tap in the bathroom. The towels also have a bad smell.

It was enjoyable, although we come every year. The beds were clean and comfortable. Overall, it was nice.

Had an ok-above average experience staying at this hotel. Room was fine, comfortable and considerably clean..Very strategic location - short walking distance to Aman Central..Has basement parking, but the parking space for each car is quite small.. Only one down point from my experience - there's no lift connected from basement to G floor and room floors..As such either you have to load your items...

Hotel cleanliness is ok. But first room I checked in got aircond problem. So hotel changed our room. But my partner was trapped in the washroom. The lock stuck. Luckily I was there to inform the management. They manage to force open the washroom door. It’s an old hotel. But breakfast was good

To be honest, the only good things here was the food and friendly staff. Other than that i dont recommend this hotel because the toilet was not in a good condition and cannot flush also the room and toilet cleanliness was …. There’s not plug near bed and only like 2 plug available in whole room. On top of that wifi very very slow

The hotel location is excellent, and the service crew is great. The only problem was in the bathroom of the unit i stayed in. The tap needs to be replaced as it doesn't open fully. The sink also doesn't waste water properly. Otherwise everything was great.

A good stay overall. The location is good because the hotel is just at the fringe of Alor Star. At the moment one entrance is closed due to the reconstruction of the road to Kangar.

Check in was fast and rooms was already available. Inside the room was like entering a 90's time tunnel where room decor was back in the 90's style, very big room, clean and still well maintained. Breakfast was fairly good but slow to replenish and not much food left half hour before restaurant closes for breakfast. Car park ample at the hotel's premises, a bit tight at the lots in front of the hotel...

The room meets our requirements as we travelled with our mom. Easy parking and just in front of the hotel. Breakfast is good and I recommend adding more kuih. Overall it is good and recommended for short term travel.

I booked a family room. Although it has two large beds, it is very small. Sound insulation is very poor.

Room and bathroom are very clean. Breakfast very tasty . The pool is clean. The staff is friendly.

When I 1st check in to my room, wow the room smell so fresh. Along the walk way to my room also no smoking smell. The room cleanliness exceeded my expectation. I also go a bonus view of the Hata tower outside my room near the lift lobby.

We enjoyed our 4days and 3 nights stay at HIG Hotel. Although this hotel is quite old but the facilities were okay. Requested for a room with a seaview, and granted by the customer service. Will definitely come again to this hotel.

Overall, the stay was quite pleasant. The room was clean and generally well-equipped. A couple of small issues: the power sockets were a bit old and hard to use, and I stayed on the 8th floor — during a heavy rainstorm at night, the balcony door was shaking loudly due to strong winds, which was a bit scary. Thankfully, it didn’t burst open. It would be great if the hotel could improve the door insulation...

Location of the hotel is quite far off a lot of tourist attractions but it’s near one of the attraction and that is the sunset cruise. Not many things to do around the area. Service and hospitality provided by the hotel staffs were a 10/10 but the hotel room itself needs a little touch up as it looks quite old already. Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at. Very quiet and serene. Staff are super friendly and the hotel go far and beyond to create a bespoke experience for you. The breakfast is out of this world and the Michelin star fine dining restaurant, Kayu Piti, above the Adamman sea is truly the best in Langkawi, if not Malaysia.

I recently stayed at The St. Regis Langkawi for a birthday celebration and had a wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to make the occasion special, even surprising me with a beautifully prepared birthday cake. The entire atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The service was excellent throughout my stay. Every staff member I encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely attentive. What stood out most was how quickly they responded to any requests — everything was handled with efficiency and care, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free.

Room: I would say the room itself is fine, quite modern and I LOVE the view, really pretty tower in front of us, but the tv is wayyyy too small for a room this size, we have to squint my eyes to watch a tv. Hygiene & Condition: The hotel is obviously old, the panels and metal parts in the shower are all rusted, definitely not the most hygienic stay, there was a cockroach at some point of our stay...

the hotel has nice lobby.. fast check in and check out... however it only has 3 lifts and each lift can only fit maybe 6 people in one go... so waiting for lift can take longggg time especially when the hotel has higher occupancy.. the room just okay.. not much to wow about and gym equipment can be added more since the gym room are quite spacious .

Customer service very good, room are big and spacious only TV is a bit small. Breakfast are ok but can have more variety. The gym equipment needs to be improved as some are out of order. Overall, we enjoy our stay here.

The hotel rooms have a stunning view and excellent service from the hotel staff. We had misplaced our Cash wallet in the hotel and the staff was very cooperative in helping us search and prompt with response on the CCTV footage. The food portion size is also satisfactory. All in all would recommend 10/10.

I highly recommend Bayview Hotel in Langkawi. This is my third stay here, and the hotel consistently provides a great experience. It is clean, reasonably priced, and ideally located. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offers a nice mix of both local and international options. Guests in premium and executive suites have access to the ‘High Tea’ lounge, where complimentary light snacks...

Seaview room was superb. Great morning view. Aircond, shower and hot water works well. Pools suitable for kids. Front desk provide good service.

Maybe can add drying machine to keep cloth/swimming wear dry before check-out because its will helps lighten the baggage plus it can be a good point to stay here too. It helps a lot for a family like me, 5 people of us. Thanks.

Thank you for the excellent hospitality to Mr. Rudy’s team, great service, spacious and comfortable rooms. Close to eateries and souvenir shops. The breakfast was delicious too.

The standard rooms are at the opposite building of the resort. Dinner in the resort is below rm30 for each dish and about rm10 for each drink. This is a unique great place to dine and view the sea in the sunset. The pool is very fun and enjoyable. Totally recommend walking to rams home decor for cheap varieties of chocolate, as the prices seem cheaper than cenang beach.

The receptionist is not friendly..never smile...PR is not nice...what u asked smthing they just ignore it...i think they better enhance their CS more...i've seen the review about the room but so far...its clean n tidy...they do clean it everyday even if we dont even ask them to....im just not ok with their CS only...

Newly renovated rooms, first stayed here almost 10 years back. The girls in the Front Desk are excellent and are very eager to assist. THe hotel does not have a cafe but they are expecting to open in March or April as what the staff mentioned. Location is very central and within walking distance to various attractions nearby. also just about 2-3 minutes drive away are the Duty Free shops. Will certainly...

Good location but close to street and there's a Mosque, I know it's religious culture but kind of annoying still cuz I'm working. Stay a week, not bad. Every day they came to clean the room. Service is nice.
