Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at. Very quiet and serene. Staff are super friendly and the hotel go far and beyond to create a bespoke experience for you. The breakfast is out of this world and the Michelin star fine dining restaurant, Kayu Piti, above the Adamman sea is truly the best in Langkawi, if not Malaysia.

Just got back from The St. Regis Langkawi, and honestly, it’s one of those places that hits the sweet spot between laid-back island vibes and proper luxury. If you’re looking to unwind in peace, be spoiled a little, and enjoy the view, this place gets it right.

It’s only a short drive from Kuah town, but once you’re inside the resort, it feels totally private and peaceful. Surrounded by rainforest and facing the sea. It’s the kind of place where you immediately slow down and breathe easier.

We stayed in the Premier Rainforest Suite with a private pool, and wow pure comfort. The space was huge, the bed felt like a cloud, and chilling in the pool with forest views? Perfect. It’s modern with a nice local touch, classy without trying too hard.

Breakfast was great with lots of variety. Kayuputi, the overwater restaurant, is definitely worth booking at sunset, stunning view and solid food. Even late-night room service (yes, we ordered nasi lemak at midnight) hit the spot. Pricey, but expected for a resort like this.

This is where they really shine. From butlers who unpack your luggage to staff who remember how you take your coffee The attention to detail is impressive, and everyone we met was genuinely friendly and warm.

The infinity pool overlooking the sea is such a chill spot, especially in the evening. The spa’s a bit of a splurge but great if you want to treat yourself. There’s a gym too, and the beach is clean and quiet, not ideal for swimming, but great for morning walk.

The St. Regis Langkawi is the kind of place you go to when you want to relax, recharge, and feel taken care of. Whether it’s for a romantic escape or just to get away from the noise, it delivers big time.

Would I go again? 100%. But next time, I’m staying longer.

I recently stayed at The St. Regis Langkawi for a birthday celebration and had a wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to make the occasion special, even surprising me with a beautifully prepared birthday cake. The facilities were top-notch — elegant, clean, and well-maintained — making the whole stay incredibly comfortable. A perfect blend of luxury and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

The entire atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The service was excellent throughout my stay. Every staff member I encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely attentive. What stood out most was how quickly they responded to any requests — everything was handled with efficiency and care, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free.

We recently spent 4 days and 3 nights at St. Regis Langkawi, and while the overall experience was pleasant, there were areas that could definitely be improved, especially considering the premium price point.

Butler Service:
While St. Regis is known for its signature butler service, our experience left us underwhelmed. We only met the butler in person twice throughout the stay, and even during check-out, no assistance was provided. It didn’t feel like a true “butler service” experience at all. Perhaps the hotel should reassess how they define and deliver this service to meet guest expectations.

Valet Parking & Buggy Service:
On a positive note, the valet and buggy services were excellent—efficient, friendly, and professional. The team handling this part of the hospitality really stood out.

Breakfast:
The breakfast spread was decent but honestly did not justify the price we paid. Some items were disappointing—like the congee, which was served cold, and the pre-fried noodles, which were dry and lacked flavor. Additionally, if you are vegetarian, I would strongly recommend informing the hotel in advance during your booking. Otherwise, you might be better off opting for a no-breakfast package, as the vegetarian selection is quite limited.

Room & Housekeeping:
The room itself was very comfortable, and the turn-down service each evening was well-executed, adding a nice touch to the overall stay.

Overall Impression:
St. Regis Langkawi offers a beautiful environment, comfortable accommodation, and standout valet/buggy services. However, for a luxury resort, the butler service didn’t meet expectations, and the food & beverage offerings, especially breakfast, could use significant improvement. With some adjustments in these key areas, the experience could truly match the brand’s luxury reputation.

The staff were warm, attentive, and seamlessly catered to our every need throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and bright, beautifully blending modern luxury with traditional Malay design. The expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic views of the Andaman Sea, and waking up to the soothing sound of the waves each morning was incredibly therapeutic. The hotel's infinity pool seemed to float right on the ocean, making every casual photo look like it belonged in a magazine. The specialty restaurants offered a superb selection of Malay and international cuisine, providing a truly top-tier culinary experience. What was even more delightful was the private beach – with its fine, soft sand and tranquil atmosphere, it felt wonderfully secluded. We also enjoyed the wide range of water activities available. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a romantic escape, this hotel is an impeccable choice. We will definitely be returning to The St. Regis Langkawi on our next visit!

The butler service was impeccable, assisting with our check-in and ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. We were delighted to receive a suite upgrade, which made our experience even more luxurious.

Breakfast was a highlight, with an excellent à la carte selection and attentive service. The hotel itself offers a serene and peaceful environment, ideal for a relaxing getaway. While the beach does experience low tide with shallow waters at times, it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the resort at all.

Overall, The St. Regis Langkawi exceeded our expectations with its exceptional service, beautiful setting, and luxurious touches. Highly recommended for a tranquil and indulgent retreat! I will be back again!
