Great Value and Location – Would Happily Stay Again
I stayed at the Mercury Boutique Hotel for 7 nights and had a very comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel has a modern design and tasteful interior decor, making it feel welcoming and fresh.
I found the staff genuinely welcoming and quick to sort out any issues. Any minor issues I had were dealt with efficiently, which I appreciated. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and fresh linen. I particularly liked having a safe, tea/coffee amenities, and an electric kettle—small touches that made the stay more convenient.
The air conditioning was quiet and effective, and the double-glazed window kept out nearly all the street noise, making it surprisingly peaceful, given the central location. It’s just a short walk to Jonker Street and close to malls and plenty of restaurants, which was perfect for exploring Melaka without needing transport.
The shower had excellent water pressure and consistent hot water, which isn’t always a given in budget-friendly hotels, so that was a nice bonus.
There are a couple of downsides: the Wi-Fi is not secure, which was a concern for me when I needed to work or access sensitive information online, and the hallways tended to be noisy.
Overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives, and I’d be happy to stay again. This is a great little hotel for its price point, especially if you’re after convenience, comfort, and friendly service in the heart of Melaka.

Accessible. Parking lot is just opposite the hotel. 10min walk to Jonker street night market.

No security guard at this place. Front reception no one available at night...scary cos anyone can access this hotel...last time to stay here. Also there is one homeless guy sleeping on the floor at the side of the hotel. Overall not a safe place to stay

Booked 2 room. 1 of the room have house files that keep appearing from nowhere after killing it,hence giving 2/5 for Cleanliness. House keeping seem like must request verbally then they will do it. Staff are friendly.

Very bad, the Aircon kept on making weird noises and the blankets were a little torn. It's location is worse it often jams on the weekends. The toilet floor is very slippery and the soap bottle was broken soo bad

Choose this hotel for it's location and you won't regret it. So close to two big malls and walking distance to Jonker St. And Riverfront.
