Hotels in Miri

Most of the room is big enough. What I don't like is the carpeted flooring in the room. Food is great. A walking distance for food, shopping & daily run to the beach front.

This our second time here. Room big, toilet clean. But you can feel the hotel is quite old. Aircond control not good try adjusting but no. The lift was upgraded but the lighting inside strong Good bfast option. Many fruits. There's lamb. Baaa..at no chicken. Tom yum soup was spicy and yummy. Parking was puzzling but have CCTV. So feel protected.

Two things i really love here are the delicious of breakfast buffet with a variety of food choices and the offer of nice free drink near the reception counter. Since it is not a very new hotel, we need to walk through not short stairs to reach to lobby from the car basement.

I stayed here for 2 nights , all hotel staffs are very helpful n friendly. Breakfast is good with varieties of choices. And the location is at the heart of Miri city center, easy access to everywhere. But the shower screen is not tightly sealed, the water leak out to the toilet bowl side everytime after shower , other than tat everything is perfect for me.

Service from the time I stepped in the hotel till I check out was excellent. Facilities is good. I had breakfast in my package, but i didn't go coz I had another appointment. Next time, I'll still stay there until if I can get a better place than here.

Bad internet .Must need to improve please ,and the smoke smile quite bad while walk on floor .Thats it

Very nice location and the room is spacious. The Gym is open for 24 hours.

Checked in at 4pm but the rooms was not ready, thus i got a free upgrade to the next category room. Ocean view room offers a majestic view. The room was clean and spotless and no noise can be heard from outside. Bath tub overlooking the ocean. The only downfall is there is no carpet thus the floor can be cold when u walk barefoot.

Excellent service from staffs (front desk & greeter). Spacious Room. Good Location. Restaurant & Cafe nearby hotel.

I booked pool view room. And they said this was it. I’m a tired mom looking forward to relaxing gate away with my son. And, i also requested for nearby room, but ended no lift, walking and another staircase. My other times was walking distance too, with an elderly with me they give 1st floor as well. Haiya

Breakfast was amazing. Room was clean. View was meh only, even i get balcony, but blocked by trees and not really seeing the beach. Service was good, friendly staff. Just that old design resort.

We stayed for 2 days which was great.  Very welcoming staff and nice environment around the pool. Thoroughly enjoyed buffet and breakfast.

Loved everything about our stay! It might be quite a distance from the city if you don’t drive a car, but if you do, it’s only less than a 10-min drive. Service was definitely top-notch; from the main entrance to the front desk, including the staff at the Zest restaurant. Breakfast spread was very good and tasty especially the fresh fruit juices! Definitely recommended and will stay here again...

Friendly and professional staff, buffet sea food dinner was excellent and lovely large warm swimming pool.

Nice place to chill and relax. The pool is great and big but the facilities are getting old. Staff were friendly. Overall a good place to stay. Do take note this hotel is a bit far from the city centre.

The best place to stay in Miri. Definitely no doubt about it. The standard room type was clean with a panoramic view, facing the south China Sea. The bathroom showers very good and so powerful. The bed was soft and clean. Except for the pillows. I should have changed to a soft one. However, the morning breakfast was superbly delicious and we enjoy it every moment especially the nasi goreng.

Strategy location and only 15mins from airport. Downstairs also with a shopping mall, very convenient. Besides, the view of the hotel very nice. My room facing sea view.

I have been to many cities around the world and every chance I get, I make sure I visit their steak restaurants. The hotel has aged a lot including In-room safe could only be set by maintenance so they know your number, despite making a few requests, they could not/ would not change the safe.  Only reason i will stay here is due to its location.

I stayed at Grand Palace Hotel for few nights. The check-in process was smooth. The room was clean, but the room design a bit old school. The room is clean and nice but toilet has some smell. I think the drainage got problem. The water heater is not so friendly use, hard to adjust to get hot and warm water. But the water splash rate is superb nice if can easy adjust the temperature, it'll be perfection. The location is not so good. if go outside come back have to make a very big U-turn. The room smelt musty when we first enter, all essential accessories to a hotel room are present, would need to request for iron although ironing board is already there. A special touch are the his and her sarongs in the cupboard, plus instructions on how to wear them. Unfortunately, the hotel may need to replace some of the broken or chipped hangers. very nice big spacious carpeted room with own balcony, but the bathroom is small & the aircond is NEVER GET ANY WARMER. old fashion aircond so there is no way to adjust the temperature accurately. it gets super hot in midday we cant stand to be in the room for any longer. lucky its just one night stay with very low price.

Its really dated hotel already. The sink are block. Bath tub area are kinda dirty. Hose broken. Air conditioner is kinda hot. Theres other cheap hotel much better then this. If you are able to find other hotel its better to not stay here. But the staffs are doing well.

Overall stay is good. The hotel is quite clean. Plenty of rooms available and the price is really good considering the location. The rooms are nicely spaced equip with all the basic necessities. Water pressure is good and sufficient amount of hot water supply. This hotel pass the vibe 👍

There are always rooms for improvement for hotels industries but if comparing pricing and services toward the accessibility within Miri Town such as convenience banking to food, then this Hotel can be listed in a good recommendation. Always do remember comparison of cleanliness depending on individual.

Surprisingly very clean and cosy for a budget hotel and price. Highly recommended. The staffs are very friendly too. Location near a convenient store, self service laundry and eatery.

Room is small but has TV with very limited channels. Has Fridge. Housekeeping can improve. Bathroom had hair from previous guest stay. Shower cubicle not cleaned. Very good location.

My husband and i always stay here for at least 1 night whenever he comes back from work. Recommended place to stay with reasonable price. Will come again after 2 and h and half month.

Enjoy the room, like a normal hotel room. Just a bit frust when the waitress didnt inform us that people who came for talk also will be charged. They charged for one pax meal. The moment need to pay, i feel a bit shocked and surprised of course. If they did tell us, maybe we can just have a chit chat at the lobby or what.. Clean and excellent stay. Friendly staff. Allowed us early checked in as we ARVD abt 9am. Some OYO did not allow and that's depriving such establishment from excellent ratings.

Hotel was very nice and clean, staff was helpful and polite. What decreased points, was cancellation of original booking without any notice.

Its considered an old INN by thr locals. I wont recommend the rooms without windows as it gets really stuffy and dark. Get the front view window not the back facing the parking lot. Bathroom is satisfying, air-cond is good, but the view is of a carpark building. Overall is okay if looking for someplace decent to sleep and shower only.

Friendly staffs, fairly good economic hotel, always there are people staying here so its not so lonely and quiet, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Multiple channels on tv is a good factor. Filtered water on each floor dispensing cold and hot water. Downside: poor door locking system. Dont leave ur valuables when going out. Been here few times and the socket is too far from bed in few rooms...

This place is good for a quick stay. With affordable price, i think it suits the place as well. I gotta admit there are some unpleasant (like stained matress) things that should be taken care of by the management. Well, there's still room for improvement. Overall, i enjoy my stay anyway.

My 1st time staying here for 2 night. Room cleanness 8/10. Bed was comfortable 9/10. Facility 6/10, at my room, hair dryer, 1 of the pipe & 2 socket beside bed not functioning well. The hotel prepared toothbrush. Don’t worry about parking 10/10.

The room is okay, but the bedsheet is a bit dirty. There is a spider web under the bedside table. The amenities are not very satisfying. The toilet floor is wet and slippery. The floor mat should be changed, as it is very dirty. Overall, there is room for improvement.

This hotel is worth the money paid though it is an old hotel. Facilities are clean. The towels and beddings are super white and spotless. great base to explore around - 5 to 15min walk and you can already cover majority of the key places. Beachwise though is a bit further but easily available ~15 min Grab/ Car ride.

07.01.2023 Nice budget stay that is right smack in the city centre. It's just a stone's throw away from Bintang Megamall and close to a few good food eateries.

Next to Bintang Mall, just less than 5 minutes walking. This was a budget hotel and the price also quite comfortably with the room.

Very clean rooms. No complaints. Water pressure for is also good. Parking may be a bit of a hassle at times, but safe otherwise. Location is the bonus!

Good service. Front desk operator is friendly and nice. The bed is comfortable. There is hot and cold water provided at the shower tap and wash face tap. The shower soap also provided. Nice room to stay. Inside the room is quiet and relax. The inn is near to the shopping mall. Can reach to the place just by walking.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my parents. Most of the things were nice except the fact that the lift broke down the 2nd day of our stay. Out of our control but it was a bit hard for my parents to use the stairs from 2nd floor. Other than that, it is recommended! Nice bed, clean bathroom. Wifi was okay. Parking was a bit hard but we will get one around.

The family room actually can fit up to 6 people. They put aircond near the toilet door and its a bit weird position as it takes longer time for room to feel cold. Overall, it was comfortable stay and i've had nothing to complain aside from the mentioned above.

Cleaniness unacceptable. We got rashes after sleeping in the bedsheets. Facilities are bad too. No toilet tissues provided. Leaking shower head at room 212.

Booked two large rooms for family. Spacious, clean equipped with mini fridge. One bathroom was blocked, water was slow to drain. The other was okay. Got 3rd floor, our bathroom had no hot water.

Pros: - Walking distance to Bintang plaza. - Jalan Setia Raja has less traffic. Noise pollution from traffic isn't an issue. - Good for short stay, basic amenities available. - Black out curtains. - Boss is proactive. (follow up with me to refund me, for over charge). Neutral (not an issue for me): - TV are local channels. - Water pressure a bit weak. - You can hear sounds from the hallway. Not idea...

They should provide universal charger although the room doesn’t have towel. But our stay is quite good
