This hotel "The fort resort" is in Nepal, Nagarkot. It is has impeccable views of mountain range and beautifully maintained gardens. I have personally impressed by the organic and sustainable life style of hotel and life around it. It is best place for any type of age group, family or couples. It is also very peaceful like a pin drop silence in nature. Food prepared by staff is also very simple and tasty.
Best time to visit this place is September - October when the skies are clear , you can see the mountain range quite clearly. In rainy season it will be all cloudy and roads are all muddy.

We stayed at The Fort for a night. It's a beautiful old, I think Newari style resort. The rooms are huge, however warm water is a problem. Took an hour to get warm water, and after that, there was warm water, but it didn't mix with the cold. Not the relaxed evening I hoped for.
The garden and cottages are beautiful!
The food and drinks are fine here.
Service could be better, some people are really nice, while others are distant. Not the hospitality we are used to from the big cities.
Ps: place is hard to get to!

I was unlucky to see the Mt Everest mountain chains because of Rain.
however the hospitality was amazing!!!! Very friendly and caring staff.

Great location. Great hospitality. The staff were very accommodating and flexible. The garden area was perfect to bask in the sun and to enjoy the view. The rooms were not bad. Could have been better but no complaints.

We had nice and relaxed family time. We were impressed by design of building and rooms which includes beautiful traditional handicrafts and details. Clean and comfortable rooms. We also enjoyed being with garden and forest together with nice view of sky, clouds, hills and mountains around. Got lucky to observe sunrise. Very hardworking and helpful staff. About neighbourhood, I was bit disappointed to see so many high rise buildings/hotels which did not match surroundings and noisy at night. Also regretted not having proper shoes and time to explore around forest or to go for hiking. :)

This property is specially made for the people like me, #naturelover #peace and calm. I fall in love again and again. The hosts at this property are very friendy and hospitable. I remember the name Bhim, Rajkumar and Rose Tamang are the great impression by there performance. The rooms are bigs, clean and with great views. The food is mouth watering fingers licking delicious. One must try buffalo sukuti a bit spicy but very local taste. The sunrise from the rooftop is beautiful. mountains ranges are wonderful. Last but not least my saty in this resort is always memorable.

These cottage rooms are average, you guys can make it much better. We loved the hospitality and service specially ganesh dai he's very sweet. :)

Beautiful 30 year old resort at the mountain top with Amazing views of mountains and nature.
