Hotel «Manaslu» in Kathmandu

The hotel had an old feel overall. It was difficult to find, and taxi drivers often got lost. The staff were very helpful.

A wonderful base if you are in Kathmandu. Clean and spacious rooms and a great breakfast. We stayed here 3 times in between a trek and a trip to Bardia and luggage was stored with ease and laundry done for our return. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Great quiet location in Lazimpat with plenty of good food options close by. Only 15 mins to Thamel. Would stay here again.

Amazing architecture and intricately carved ceilings and window frames, with good food and great beds. Only thing missing was a hot shower. The pool and conference facilities were first rate, and the staff were lovely. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

However, traffic noise can occasionally be an issue, given its proximity to main roads. Overall, Hotel Manaslu is a good option for travelers seeking a traditional Nepali ambiance, warm hospitality, and a central location at a reasonable price.

Atmospheric heritage hotel with a lovely garden and swimming pool tucked away in a quite corner just a stone's thrown from dining and shopping options in Lazimpat and environs. Great value.
