I found this to be a very relaxing and pleasant stay with wonderful interiors and exteriors, delicious cuisines and extremely friendly staff. Most comfortable beds! On top of that, they look after their guests till they check out. Highly recommended place.

Very nice place away from the Muscat city. Nice drive from Muscat till you reach this place. We had the Company party here. Breakfast and evening snacks were good. Lunch not upto the mark. I loved this place so much😘

The stay at the hotel was incredible. We enjoyed the view from the room as it was located at the Marina. The staff were helpful and we had a special staff member (Sunil) who helped us settle in and was always there to assist us at any time. The room was clean and spacious. We are definitely going back.

Perfect place for young adults, the apartment was not clean as it should be. The restaurant is amazing, would recommend the restaurant there (Sky lounge), the food was one of the best I had so far in the city. The apartment smelt like smoke. Do not recommend for families!

What a nice place for camping, you can go with family they have all the facilities available inside, we spent one night it was real fun, usually they have their own tents but we somehow managed to stay inside our own camp... Location was amazing, it is the best beach spot in Muscat! You will be welcomed with smiling and helpful staff everywhere. Lazy river was favourite of my daughter. Water sports had many varieties and very much affordable. Rooms are a bit old but always clean and offer more than needed.

17/7 - 24/7, booked for quarantine stay of our daughter & family joined for the lockdown period. Very friendly staff/owners & the personal attention of the Manager Mr Balaji made the stay very homily & comfortable.

Stayed here for a night at its 2bhl apartment. Very spacious and clean! Toilets are hygienic and maintained well. The front desk had kind people and talked politely. Room service was quite quick and helpful! The breakfast was very generic, but served clean and fresh. Didn't have any other meals at the hotel since i had to travel. They had pool, but not a gym. Not a bright side for the fitness freak...

I have frequently visited Old Town Cafe which is the dine in of Pioneer Hotel. The food and hospitality is great. A very clean and professional atmosphere and a place you feel like spending time. I would fail in my duties if the staff is not commended for their friendly welcome. They are always with a smile and at your service. I wish them all the best. 5 stars are in order

I have spent many, many nights at Pioneer over the last year - this lovely hotel is like my second home. The staff is fabulous, the management makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. This hotel is EXCEPTIONALLY clean, nicely decorated/furnished and very well run. One notable item: the staff is consistent, the turnover is very low. They go out of their way to make you happy. I am one of the very early guests of them, and gave many reference business also. Calm, cultured and reasonable. This facility at a very comfortable location. Staff and services very good. Only problem, we have to eat outside.

Located in a nice area if wadi kabir in Muscat. Very clean and modern facilities at economic prices. Breakfast is average. Staff are helpful and nice. Ample parking around the hotel but can get busy at night. You can rent cycles for free from the hotel and take a ride around.

Not bad but no worth for money

Very nice, and clean hotel, friendly staff, and they recently upgraded their WiFi which has faster speeds. It's also in a good location, close to Matrah Souq, Shangri-la and Bustan Palace, which are all good tourist attractions.

Not bad at all for the price you pay. Friendly staff, and location is key. Easy to get in and out of your hotel to main attractions. At least for me, the size was great for a big family. I wasn't happy with the room they gave, so without hesitation, they changed my room to my liking.

Friendly staff. Nice bathroom and bedroom. Price-performance ratio is very good. Breakfast is nothing special, but the attentively staff always asks if you want anything else thats not with the buffet. Air condition is working properly and the bedrooms don't heat up much during the day. Supermarket is just across the street. Laundry service is not free! Loud traffic noise!

Good quality price ratio. The room was clean, spacious and with an amazing view on Muscat. The breakfast was tasty and varied with local as well as continental options. Very centrally located hotel with all the regular amenities of a chain but with friendly staff and service and attractive prices make for a comfortable stay. Bus station to the airport and other attractions is nearby and some sights are walking distance. Many restaurants in the area make the stay even easier.

I booked this hotel for two night stay in muscat. The room was not as expected and satisfying for the cost I paid(90€/night). But I was quite happy about the location, friendly staff and especially about the really good breakfast. Want to try some restaurant, just cross the street, you have a lot of restaurants, find shavaranabhavan nearby if you want to try some indian food. It was really amazing...
