Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah, an IHG Hotel

If you are not looking for luxury and you do not mind the older equipment of the rooms, but on the contrary you are looking for peace and space, then I recommend the beach house.
I also want to thank the hotel for offering us this house instead of a room.
Yes, of course there will be shortcomings, as in every hotel, but we did not come here to look for them, but to enjoy our vacation and if I asked them about something that needed to be fixed, it was not a problem, they were always willing.

The Crowne Plaza is a really nice hotel, right on the beach with a very nice pool area and great restaurants. The rooms are beautifully furnished.

However, the staff must be mentioned. Mr Darshana deserves special mention at this point, as he always supported us wherever he could during our stay and thus made our stay unforgettable.

The beach is also something special. Fantastic sand, great sunbeds, spacious. Pretty much perfect.

The hotel's amenities are great: wonderful beach, nice restaurants and bars, lobby beautiful, staff amazing, pools very good. But it shows its age in the rooms: worn, sea view rooms without balconies, not up to modern 5star standards. Overall very good but also pricy.

Staff was amazing, very helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

Facilities are starting to feel a bit of age, but it never impacted our enjoyment. Beach was closed for the whole stay due to high surf. Not a problem for us with small children the pool was preferred.

A great resort for staying with young children. The pool with water slide, splash park, and large playground were everything we could hope for.

Our visit was truly an experience! The whole family loved the hotel's aesthetic. To simply put it, we were amazed and in awe of the way everything looked. Everyone was hospitable. We'd like to especially thank the receptionist, Mae, for her friendliness and kindness! The room was perfectly clean and organized. Thanks to the housekeeping team! The hotel offers fun activities. We enjoyed the swimming pool. It was huge and clean. The meals were tasty as well. Everything here is really worth visiting!

One of the best hotels that I stayed in. Everything was excellent, location is great on close to city center. Room facilities is very great and smart. Room space & bathrooms amenities is very good. Very quick housekeeping service. - such a wonderful staff - Very very nice staff , specially Mae and Cherry from the reception. i was tired and suck the first day the sent a nurse to check , so thank you for that. I would like to thank the staff and management for great hospitality:)

The hotel is beautiful and peaceful. The employees are very accommodating, patient, and kind. My primary housekeeper Mr. Rana is AMAZING!! He is goes out of his way to communicate with guests about when he will tidy their room, he is very respectful of the space and items within. And is eager to ensure guests are happy with the quality of his work.

The hotel resort is amazing with breathtaking views. The hotel is directly on the beach front and I had a walk on the beach and spotted a turtle . There is a small waterpark for the children , an child’s splash pool and an adults swimming pool. The only downside about coming to Oman between June to October SWIMMING IS PROHIBITED on all the beaches because of the monsoon season. Even if you want to do a water activity there is no option you can only go snorkelling or scuba diving after October . Winter is a better time for swimming in the sea in Oman. The food is very good too and the hotel is surrounded in a lovely scenery of coconut trees and banana trees .
