I stayed at the resort in November 2025 and had an amazing experience. I booked with Fanar Hotel & Residences originally but apparently there was some issue with my room. I’ve been offered a room at the Rotana instead

Above all, the service deserves special praise — the staff are professional, attentive, and provide care at the highest level. A truly wonderful place for a relaxing and memorable stay

Things are all good. Breakfast food selection is a bit boring.

I recommended it to stay on this hotel. The people of the hotel are amazing. The only down side is the wifi. It is usable but its not fast enough especially who came for business

one of the best hotel in Salalah, especially when you're travelling with kids. a lot of play ground, and the pool is really fantastic. you can just walk by if you like to play at the beach.

The pool and the closeness to the sea. The employees are very friendly and helpful. If you book breakfast at the reception it is 4 OMR, if you show up in the morning at the restaurant it is 8 OMR

However, there's one thing that I didn't like which is the fact that you are in the middle of no where where the closest shop or sign of life outside the resort is 6km away. YOU have to have your own viechle or a taxi!

The resort is very nice and comfortable , relaxing and the atmosphere is welcoming. The employees are friendly and helpful all the time

The restaurant is nicely equipped and the food is very delicious and the music is just perfect

We arrived @ 17:00 yet the room wasn't ready! Customer service at the reception wasnt polite,as she was very rude and ignored us.Refused to give us two single bed rooms that we asked through booking!

The pool with water slide, splash park, and large playground were everything we could hope for

Beautiful, well-kept grounds, delicious and hearty breakfasts. Friendly and helpful staff. Morning coffee with the sunrise is delightful.

The hotel is located on the beachfront, right next to the sea, but swimming is impossible due to the waves and the red flag! It's impossible to book a room for 1 person with breakfast included (only for 2 people at a time)

Very nice people and good experience

Breakfast is good, but you can't eat on the terrace because a flock of crows swoops down and all the chairs are dirty. Why doesn't the restaurant put up bird nets like other hotels? There's always a line for omelettes

On November 14, 2025, after the manager asked if everything was okay with the cleaning, she said it was OK. The cleaner never came back, not even to take out the trash and change the towels

The room was big and the staff were friendly. The beach is within walking distance and the pool has a slide. The breakfast was average.

The hotel is a bit rustic and old-fashioned, but the location is good, with the beach behind it and a nice view. Friends who come to Salalah for travel can try it.

Overall everything was really with high standards. The linen, bed, the lighting, beach,pool and the breakfast had value for money. The staff was well trained and was aware of high levels of customer service.

Hilton Hotel is very close to the Salalah free zone, just across the street. It costs 10 Omani riyals from the airport, which is not too outrageous. I hope this can help more domestic friends.

The hotel is older but nice and the food was good. The employees were very nice and the beach was beautiful.

It has a beautiful environment and its own beach, making it a great place for leisure and vacation.

In the beginning we had some troubles with our room which smelled and also with some little animals but the staff was great changing the room and also enabling pest control to remove the unwanted inhabitants

The stylish and beautiful Anantara Hotel is located right by the sea. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; you feel so pampered. The food is varied and delicious. We would love to come back.

The view and the service was so satisfying, I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot and I’m going to recommend this place to my friends because of how beautiful the place and the architecture, and food is.

They have a small farm where they grow some of their food that they use to serve in their restaurants. I have to say that the food in the hotel is very expensive so keep a budget for that

We stayed at this resort more than six years ago and we wanted to experience staying here again in the Khareef Season. Some things did change, but this hotel still was a great choice

Verycomfortable place and beautiful . Perfect beach and swimming pool area. Excellent and professional staff, great food especially the Asian restaurant (Thia) and the location is perfect for a quick getaway.

There are more European and American tourists staying here, but the breakfast is more localized and average, but fortunately there is Indian milk tea to make up for it

Its nice and tidy. Rooms are clean. You can feel you are in oasis in desert. There are a lot of plants. One of them is jasmine.. it was smelling in the morning. Take the rest..

I was on a business trip and booked a one-living room and two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and balcony, which was pretty good, but there was only one bathroom

As mentioned before we done out locally so not sure about the food, conveniently located, take the lift straight down to the mall, this has a hyper market (carrefour) and Lulu is a walk down from the Mall (walking is not an option, you can it’s a bit of a walk with no pedestrian access)

The hotel is integrated with a shopping mall, which is the second largest shopping mall in Salalah. There is a good restaurant with Arabic and Indian food

The hotel grounds are stunning! The staff is friendly. The waiters work hard, remembering your favorite drinks and bringing them without reminders. The food is varied and delicious. There's always plenty of fruit

The beach is gorgeous and clean

Everything was perfect and the staff always nice and helpful. The only thing it should be improved is to find some way to kick off cockroaches. I had several small ones in the room and bathroom.

A very clean hotel with spacious rooms. It's a German chain of hotels. You have a few restaurants around including KFC a 5 mins walk, 2 mins to KM trading supermarket. Convenient for food and basic needs

A great value option if you're in Salalah for Khareef. 5 minute walk to Bon Lab (the best café in the world) and right across the road is a large supermarket

Friendly staff, clean rooms. The location with a very good parking too. Although it's not a 5 star hotel but it has everything you need in a 5 star hotel.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, and housekeeping are unintrusive. The gym and leisure facilities are nice to have, but they are a little lacking

Location is at the middle of salalah so perfect. The hair dryer at my room got burned after first use so I called the reception to replace it and they did withing hours. people there are friendly and always attentive

Excellent rooms, all sorts of things provided. May it be from toiletries or the necessary things one can do around in salalah. As usual hotel food is expensive but the overall location is very good.

City hotel is in the centre Of the city almost which is an excellent location but I didn't like the cleaning part as I had to ask for cleaning especially the wash room

There are many cafes and shops near the hotel. The beach is about a 15-minute taxi ride away, and about an hour's walk

In the end, we liked it so much that we cancelled the second reservation and extended the Plaza

The hotel is perfectly fine. There is ample parking and the rooms are large. Unfortunately, waiters often clear the entire table during meals, even when there is still food on the plate being eaten.

The room is great, very spacious, bright and comfortable! There is a large courtyard downstairs, surrounded by many coffee, dessert and pizza shops! You can chat, eat and play ball at night, and there are also children's play facilities

When we visited 4 years ago, a swimming pool was being built. Not other facilities. Just a coffee shop. The room was nice and spacious and that's the best part but bathroom had a little smell. I hope they made it better.

Beautiful resort in Hawana Salalah. There are other resorts in the same region and offer supplementary services/deals. We stayed for 3 nights and our time was well spent. Staff is friendly and rooms are big and clean

We stayed at this hotel 2 times. The first time we had a lovely room near the main elevator. the second time we were given a room in a nearby building. this room was bigger and not comfortable

Huge indoor and outdoor restaurant is one of their specialty and different verities of amazing foods is another attraction. Beach and swimming pools are exceptional. There is no difficulty for parking

Resort has 2 pools, one with a bar and a second pool only for adults. Water was cold at that time of the year (December) so we didn't use too much but we enjoyed sunbathing there

There is enough equipment for the size of the resort. Sauna is great and with no extra charge. The place is quite so if You want more night entertainment You need to go to Al Fanar. Organized in marina for all resorts

Not too much choice but always well prepared, tasty and fresh. Breakfast: eggs, variety of vegetables and fruits, breads, pancakes, etc. Unfortunately for us all fresh juices and oatmeal had added sugar

Staff was so nice and every day they would prepare for us oats and milk without sugar. Special thank You for Ayobi and Suva who would remember about morning oats and green tea every day

First impression was great and as time went on it got better. This resort is pretty small so if You are looking for a peaceful stay it’s definitely the right choice

If you love walking this is also a very good place For it. The pool is officially not temperature controlled. The new management plus owners can do wonders if they handle the property very well

Serviced apartments centrally located in Salalah yet very calm and serene. Friendly staff. Gym with separate timings for ladies is appropriate for Oman culture.
