We stayed at this hotel 2 times. The first time we had a lovely room near the main elevator. the second time we were given a room in a nearby building. this room was bigger and not comfortable. The long, empty hallway in the room looked scary. We didn't want to stay there. but the staff was very friendly and offered to look at other rooms, we looked and chose the most acceptable one. but I realized that the comfort of staying at the hotel strongly depends on which room you will be given. the breakfasts are very tasty and very varied. there are so many delicious things that people on a diet should not attend these breakfasts 😅 because it's a very big temptation.
It was nice to meet a lady at the reception who speaks Russian. Nadia told us about the seasons in Salalah. we will definitely return to Salalah and of course we will choose this hotel for our stay.

We chose Fanar Hotel even though it was higher in price , hoping for a great stay. Sadly, it didn't meet our expectations.
They advertised fun activities online, but these were stopped during the rainy season without any alternatives, most of the facilities are closed!
The rooms smelled bad because they were too damp and not properly dried after cleaning. Stains in the hallway and restaurant floors stayed the same all week. The outdoor areas were poorly maintained, making it hard to walk when it rained.
There weren't enough parking spaces or valet services.
Although the pool was big, it wasn't heated, and there was a dangerous broken stair that the staff didn't fix when we mentioned it.
Our bad experience made us leave a day early. When we asked for help with our bags, we waited for over 30 minutes, but nobody showed up. We had to carry our bags through the muddy parking lot on our own.
During check-out, no one asked why we were leaving early, showing a lack of interest from the staff.

The Fanar Hotel in Hawana offers a good value for money with comfortable accommodations and decent service. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms and the quality of the on-site facilities. Beautiful resort in Hawana Salalah. There are other resorts in the same region and offer supplementary services/deals. We stayed for 3 nights and our time was well spent. Staff is friendly and rooms are big and clean. Breakfast has amazing variety and lots of live stations!

I recently stayed at a resort and had a great experience. All the services were excellent, and the food was good. However, improvements could be made regarding the drinks included in the all-inclusive service. The rooms were very nice, and the beach was lovely with many beautifully arranged spots available. This resort is an excellent choice for families with children, offering plenty of playgrounds and ample space for evening walks. I recommend it for a relaxing vacation, both for families with children and others. The pools were very well maintained. I highly recommend this resort.

I had already stayed in this hotel couple of years back, made me want to stay again this time. Beautiful buildings and surroundings. The pool is huge and calm and the housekeeping staffs are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options to choose from. Rooms were spacious and classy. I stayed in rooms with ocean view. Thank you Fanar hotel for making my trip a memorable one with an amazing stay.

Place is really nice! The hotel, the facilities, the breakfast was excellent. We loved staying there. The beach has beautiful sands and well maintained. The only thing which I didn't like and maybe because of the room is the cleaning service. Most of the days i stayed; the cleaning person was coming in the wrong timing. Perhaps once you arrive to ask them to clean on specific time. Other than that, highly recommended place

This is the second time i am using their facility. Now staying with their ocean view rooms. Very good experience. Room service and cleanliness is excellent.
Huge indoor and outdoor restaurant is one of their specialty and different verities of amazing foods is another attraction. Beach and swimming pools are exceptional.

If you are expecting 5* luxurious resort then look elsewhere. This resort is nowhere near the pictures they advertise on their website. Rooms are very old looking as well appear very empty. When we asked for refund because we were disappointed the reception answered not possible.
Pool needs complete deep cleaning and scrubbing. Sun loungers covers haven’t been washed in months. Lots of birds around the resort so the bird sh*t is everywhere on outdoor sofas & furniture. Haven’t seen anyone cleaning these in whole week. The premium cabanas covers needs washing lots of stains does not look hygienic. Food was ok, very bland. Not much choices. Rental car from hotel was not clean - stains on car seats and car wasn’t vacuumed in long time.
