Smart Hotel Garnizon in Gdansk

A good place to stay!
The room was small but cozy. The room smelled good and looked cleaned. The blanket was really small and the pillow was really big.

I was not aware that they didn't change bed sheets and cleaned the toilets thoroughly if you don't tell them in advance.

I paid for the standard breakfast on my last day. It was good, but they could have offered more hot food options though.

Location wise, this was really good with the big mall Galeria Baltycka just 300 meters away. There is another smaller mall Metropolia near the station.

Since this seems to be a quite big train station (Gdansk Wrzeszcz) you can reach Sopot in 12 min and the city center in 5 min. Near the hotel on the northwest side, you can find a few cafes and supermarket. There are also bus and trams close to the hotel. I had a room next to a big road so there was some traffic noise all the time.

I recommend this hotel and will consider to return if I go to Gdansk again.

Very nice hotel for one or two nights. Small rooms but enough space. Large shower. Very comfortable bed. Tram stop nearby. Easy access to the old town. Żabka just around the corner. Large shopping mall next door. 10 minutes walk to the Wrzeszcz PKP station.

A nice place with a local shopping centre close by on foot and central Gdańsk only a short car journey away. The staff spoke English to me which was very much appreciated and they were very attentive at Breakfast time. Good value for money with breakfast included we stayed for 3 nights. Good quality breakfast - very nice. Good coffee also!

The room was quite compact but had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable so we had good sleep whilst away.

Would stay again!

Good location near shopping centre and railway station, bus stop right outside for the airport. Very clean and modern. Free wine was a bonus too! Liked the balcony in my room.

We stayed just for one night but.most say it was a relaxing one after a long flight. It was not until the next morning that we noticed the glass window the the elevator overlooking the bridge, and the shopping mall just around the corner. Nice rooms with good layout.

Best place to sleep well in gdansk

A good experience, good location (2 good bus stations near the hotel + big mall, train station) If you are a couple or traveling alone and need to make a decision in last minute it's a good option for you, but there is one disadvantage, separated shower and toilet, which I find very uncomfortable. Overall, for this value it's a good option, when nothing other is available.
