Novotel Centrum

Lovely hotel in a great location.

Well located hotel nearby Gdansk old town. Room was comfortable (bed) but typical Novotel design (boring). The bathroom was clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent (I liked the fish options).

Overall our stay was very good. The Customer Service was excellent! We had our room upgraded!
The room was very dusty. Sheets had marks on it, towels were hard and worn out. Only one bin to use and two power sockets.
We loved that the hotel provided free water filter to use.
I booked a taxi via the hotel on my return back to the airport. Hotel said it will be 100 Polish Zloty but the taxi insisted on 25 plz.

Beautiful hotel, fully appointed rooms (though a few more electrical outlets would be nice), clean, and an excellent breakfast buffet. Stylish bar in lobby. Large screen TV (that we never turned on). Excellent location very close to old town chock full of bars, restaurants, and museums. Groceries located around the block. I would always stay here in the future.

Booked for a trip with my teenage daughter. The centre of the city is a few minutes walk away, as is the nearest tram stop. The room was clean & the air-con was a godsend as it was very hot when we were there. Breakfast wasn't overly to my taste but everything was fresh & kept replenished. I tended to have cereal & fruit but there was a range of cold meat, fish dishes, salad dishes, cheese, bread, cakes, pancakes. The hot choice was scrambled eggs, 2 types of sausage, beans & mushrooms mixed with vegetables.

The hotel has a lot going for it, especially for families. Its proximity to the old town is a significant plus, making it easy to walk to many attractions. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the play options for kids are great.

Breakfast was a mixed bag. The pancakes were good, but after four days of precisely the same menu, it became monotonous. I think the Chef is too lazy with his choices. The lack of a toaster and the limited bread choices were also disappointing.

The biggest issue was with housekeeping. The staff did not change our towels even after we asked them to, which was quite annoying. While the reception staff were pleasant and helpful, the housekeeping staff did not meet our expectations.

In summary, this hotel is in a great location and has some excellent amenities, but it needs to improve its housekeeping and breakfast variety to offer a better overall experience. I would not recommend opting for breakfast if your stay is more than a day. The city has better options for breakfast.

Some hotels don’t allow dogs, some require additional payment for it, but Novotel welcoming pers even with a gift! Thank you for so welcoming service, comfortable and clean room, great coffee in the room and nice garden. In addition, the hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Gdansk
