Reviews
At least people working in the restaurant area were very friendly and helpful :)
The left elevator buttons didn’t work on the ground floor. When you press the up button at the far right elevator and the far left elevator silently opens, by the time you walk to the left elevator, it is closing and because the left side buttons don’t work, you have to walk back to the far right side, press up and hope another elevator opens that you can use.
The attendants in the sauna and space are are not helpful even with a language barrier. It’s unclear where the sauna space is located. When you finally find the locker area, the attendant hands you a wristband, takes your room key and doesn’t say anything about where to go or what to do with the wrist band.
I assumed after leaving my belongings in an unlocked locker that the wrist band number probably coincides with the locker number. But the lockers have key locks so I’m totally confused.
The steam room was nice. The sauna was nice. The whirlpool is not warm and filled with young kids throwing things against the wall. The pool didn’t look very inviting.
The restaurant was ok and the pasta was very good. Breakfast was just ok, a lot of pig meat. Two of the 3 coffee machines were not working.
Polish severs seem to have a need to remove your dishes the exact moment it appears you have completed the last bite. While I appreciate the desire for order and cleanliness, I don’t want to feel pressured having a server reach across my plate and table while I’m chewing the last bite. The table is sufficiently large enough to hold dirty plates at least until I stop chewing or get up for another serving.
The location of the Doubletree is bewildering. It’s far from the center of town and far from the airport. Taxi to the airport cost a ridiculous 149 zt. At 2:30 AM, people were sitting outside smoking and talking loud. The cookie was good.
the rooms were very nice and tidy, the stufff were very friendly, so i love it.
I wanna Say special thanks for tetiana, she is doing very good zumba. Special Thanks for sonic. He is good ping pong plater and zumba dancer too. I will come again as soon as possible.
In the pool, the cleaner argued with us and expressed her personal dissatisfaction regarding my swim shorts.
At the pool reception, the girl was very displeased, behaved rudely, and sold us a spa pass 5 minutes before closing without warning us that it was about to close, probably just wanting to take our money.
I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hilton with my beloved Samoyed, hoping to enjoy the pet-friendly environment they advertise. While the hotel indeed allows pets, I encountered an unexpected issue during my stay.
First and foremost, I must praise the welcoming atmosphere and pet-friendly amenities that the hotel offers. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating to our furry companions. Our room was comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful pet amenities.
However, my experience took a disappointing turn when I attempted to sit at the hotel bar with my quiet and well-behaved Samoyed. To my surprise, we were asked to leave, even though the hotel supposedly welcomes pets.
I couldn't help but feel that this inconsistency in their pet policy was quite ridiculous. My Samoyed had not caused any disruption; she was calm and well-mannered throughout our stay. Being asked to leave the bar was not only an inconvenience but also somewhat disheartening, given the hotel's pet-friendly reputation.
In summary, the DoubleTree Hilton is indeed pet-friendly in principle, but my recent experience left me with mixed feelings. While they do allow pets, it's crucial for them to maintain a consistent and fair pet policy, ensuring that well-behaved dogs like mine can enjoy all the amenities the hotel has to offer, including the bar area.
I hope the hotel management takes this feedback into consideration to provide a more consistent and enjoyable experience for pet owners in the future.
Nice swimming pool and small fitness however a bit old, nowadays. More care needs damaged equipment :-(
There was issue with water and one day was only hot (~50+ Celsius!) and next day only cold. I was promissed many times to have it fixed however was very uncomfortable & even no discount offered afterwards.
I recently had the privilege of attending a monumental presidential-level security event at the DoubleTree by Hilton, and I must say, it was an experience like no other. From the moment I set foot in the hotel to the final farewell, I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my stay.
The location of the DoubleTree by Hilton is exceptional, perfectly situated in the heart of the city, making it an ideal choice for high-profile events. The hotel's staff was not just courteous; they went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt like a VIP. Given the gravity of the security event I attended, the professionalism and attention to detail exhibited by the staff were truly remarkable. From the security personnel to the front desk, everyone was exceptional in their roles.
Managing an event with over 2000 guests can be a daunting task, but the DoubleTree by Hilton handled it with grace and efficiency. The event space was flawlessly set up, and every aspect of the event, from security protocols to catering, was well-organized. It was evident that the hotel's staff were well-trained and experienced in handling high-level events. They ensured the event ran seamlessly, allowing attendees to focus on the event's significance without any logistical worries.
The hotel's amenities are top-notch. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and elegantly designed, providing a relaxing haven after a long day. The dining options were diverse, and the food was of the highest quality. Additionally, the hotel offers a range of facilities such as fitness centers and business services, ensuring that every guest's needs are met.
In summary, the DoubleTree by Hilton exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Its prime location, exceptional staff, and remarkable event management capabilities make it the ideal choice for high-level events. Whether you're attending a presidential-level security event or simply seeking a luxurious stay in the heart of the city, this hotel offers an experience that is unparalleled. I wholeheartedly recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton for any occasion where excellence is expected.
Spa is very busy during the weekend, they take non house visitors with many kids and it becomes extremely crowded and dirty. Someone has stolen our slippers in there
We booked this hotel because of the little spa they have but unfortunately it was disappointing
Otherwise rooms are good, we had a Hilton members floor
Location is quite away from city center but if you are looking for something to chill that’s totally fine, plus uber can get you anywhere
From service point perspective it was okay until we couldn’t find the USB point for charging phone since we have different sockets at our country
Called to reception for adaptors they said they don’t have any. Then we asked if we can buy one downstairs, but the shop was closed already
All evening and night without phones after a long flight - that’s not what you expect at a big hotel on the middle of nowhere
To sum up - maybe look for an alternative place if you want a good service
Otherwise it’s okay 👌🏼
