This hotel gets mixed reviews, so much so that it gave me anxiety before coming to Serbia so let's get the facts. This is the Balkans, the Balkans are not the UK or the USA, and if you want that level of service I recommend booking into the Best Western or Hilton. Now for those who appreciate that you are in the Balkans and paying very little for a room, let's begin. Let's start with the cons: 1. The tower block is eclectic, there is a club and slots on the ground floor (i'd avoid booking Thursday>Saturday if you are super sensitive to noise). There are also normal businesses I.e. law firms on the way up, so the stairwell is not exclusive to the hotel and it's well used to say the least... you'll need to get your phone torch out at times, especially if you are arriving of an evening. 2. Cleanliness needs addressing - it's not awful; but it's not great. Needs new bed linen, towels etc. 3. The lift may not always work and it's 6/7/8 floors up - a cardiovascular work out. We were prewarned and offered free cancellation or a 20% discount which is more than fair. If you're travelling with a lot of baggage, avoid it. 4. It's not a traditional hotel, it's the Balkans, it's a little chaotic, 1 receptionist, on site 8am-10pm (VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE ARRIVING LATE, BOOK ELSEWHERE). If you need to check out early, just speak to the receptionist. Now for the pros: 1. Prime central location, opposite the oldest hotel in Belgrade (Hotel Moscow), and pretty much in the centre of all main sites. 2. Rooms look similar to the pictures, obviously like most hotels, it needs some touch ups, but not awful. 3. It's relatively easy to find, it's literally a hallway in the row of shops with admiral above in lights and is signposted "Eden luxury suites" on the floor. The hotel also has a mobile number you can call if required (WhatsApp) 4. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Communication from the hotel was good and we were warned in advance of issues with the lift. Would I stay here again, probably not, I was limited locations due to events in Belgrade, but if I were on a budget/a young traveller why not?

Ideal location however its hard to find, after climbing 6 flights of stairs which were filthy we reached reception, this is due to lift broken , room was clean and tidy but the bed was extremely hard, we discovered after investigating that the lift has had fire damage and this is clarified by previous reviews and photos showing fire brigade, only book if you are happy to climb 6 flights of stairs each time

There is a club in the same building as this hotel that blasts music all night. Although several floors away, I could hear and feel the pulsing beat of the music all night long. It finally stopped at 6:45 a.m. I got no sleep despite trying two different types of earplugs and white noise. When I reported the problem to the front desk the next morning, the staff member admitted that the hotel had reported the issue to the city but nothing had been done. I told the front desk staff I would be checking out a day early and booking elsewhere. The manager of the hotel informed me that I would not receive a refund because my booking was non-refundable.

We booked Eden Luxury Suites for 2 nights for our short first-time trip to Belgrade. The location is very handy as it's right in the city centre, but this is where the positives end. The hotel is on the 6th, 7th and 8th floor of the building. The 1st floor of the building is a nightclub. The entrance to the building, as well as the elevator, were dirty with exposed wiring. The receptionist was definitely not too enthusiastic while checking us in - which we gladly ignored as we figured everyone's entitled to a bad day. On our way to our room, we noticed broken glass and shattered windows on the staircase leading to the room, as well as exposed wiring sticking from the ceiling. When we entered the room we immediately noticed several things about it: 1) The walls in the room were dirty (as if someone rubbed their shoes off of them) 2) The bed had white sheets with black curly hairs on the duvet, as well as on the sheet below the duvet. The pillowcases had black mascara stains on them. 3) The windows felt like they were falling apart - the wood around them seemed very loose. 4) There was a presence of black mould on the wood between the bathroom and the bedroom. The wood was rotting as well. 5) There was a dried up contact lens on the nightstand next to the bed. 6) The towels were thin and ripped. We took pictures and went back to the receptionist, Aleksej. What followed was the most uncomfortable discussion we ever had with anyone. When we voiced our complaints and asked if they had another room or if they could send someone to change the bedsheets (or give us bedsheets to change them ourselves), we were told that all cleaners leave by 15:00 and that, if we didn't like it, we could leave but they would not be refunding us the first night's stay. When we confirmed we'd want to stay, we asked if we could be given any cleaning supplies to clean the room ourselves when the avalanche of passive aggressive and patronizing comments started. We were told we were disrespecting the country we came to visit and that our requests were absurd, as well as several misogynistic remarks where he asked my girlfriend not to be hysterical while directing most of his communication to me. Mr. Aleksej threatened to publish our interaction with him seeing as the entire conversation was recorded by the camera at the reception - which we encouraged. Seeing as we're from Croatia, the comment that gave away the motives behind the passive aggressiveness was when Mr. Aleksej said "If I weren't born in Dubrovnik you'd remember me for the rest of your lives." Following this, we realized that our requests and complaints weren't the issue at all. After Mr. Aleksej made these comments, we decided that this establishment was not safe for us. He then told us he'd give us a full refund if we deleted the pictures we took and threatened to sue us if we ever left a negative review or posted those pictures anywhere. Please find them attached as part of this review. Would not

The hotel is in the city center, yes, but they have turned the rooms into a hotel on the 6th and 7th floor of a building. We searched for the hotel for about half an hour, the exact location does not appear on Google, we saw the name of the hotel in a small place, we could not find the entrance this time, fortunately, a place at the entrance of the building understood that you were looking for that place and directed us. We were afraid when we saw the elevator. We were greeted by a dissatisfied receptionist on a tiny floor. After we entered the room, we learned that the water was out and that it would arrive in 4 hours. The hotel's check-out time is 10. Be sure to pay attention to this. It is written on their website and they do not care about customer/guest satisfaction in this regard. As far as I can see, take 2 points only for the interior beauty of the room.

We have been here before, in easter with family and was so great that we took a trip again 1.5 month later from 03.06-08.06. So we came with a lot of joy and it was perfect and on a saturday. Sat,sun and monday was so great and perfect. Then tuesday, starting great like allways and then around 20:00H then nightmare began . We hurt explosiens and we think it was on the streets but no, eden is from the 6 floor to 8. Suddenly we had fire smoke in the hole area. We tried to ran down the stairs cause we think it came from upstairs, then we feel the heat and I said up up up NOW and the smoking came so bad that all black like a wall og darkness. We were on the 3-4 floor before and reached the 5.5 floor that the smoke came very badly cause the fire departement was trying to put out the fire.My better half for some reason manage to find a doorknop and I could'nt see her and I was choking already OMG. She found a little balcony were the cleaning team had there things but I was figthing to come out there and I fellowed her voice and I could feel the time was over for me, but she manage to grap my arm and pull me out of there and I still don't know how it cuold be done, i think a mirakel happend. I cuaft and cauft in danish " hostede hostede og hostede" until i got air again. So now we are stranding on that balcony and smoke came down and up still but not as much like inside, so I think we were in a litlle safety zone there. Now on the balcony we hear people crying for help somewhere and we could not see them. 2 women and 2 guys, but in 5-7 secunds we did not here the 2 guys anymore OMG, hoped they found safety but I had a bad feeling with the 2 guys. So we were on the balcony and crying for help, we were on the backside at the hotel so no one hear os at first, suddenly we see a man, and he the fire brigade knew. From around 20:00- 20:50 we were in living hell and the firemen came for us. 6 of us came down walking with the firemen but not the 2 guys and they were from Holland, they are with no life and I still do not know there faith. Please someone ,tell me. And the fire caused by bad elektric installations. So bewere when your booking hotels in belgrade, especelly stari grad " old town" i've reached a little and there are many hotels on fire from 2015 to now

The entrance does not match the luxury accommodation (leads to a ******), nor does the elevator (with 3 people with luggage you can get stuck), but the rooms were top notch. There was a stocked minibar and a safe in the stylish, modern room (8th floor). The bathroom is separated by a glass wall (with curtains). Payment (by card) is made at check-in. The staff speaks English. Depending on the location of the room, the view ranges from horrible (but quiet) to beautiful (but car noise is audible). The room price was from 56 EUR. No breakfast can be booked.

Great location and very friendly staff, especially the guy who works at night😁 funny and amazing sense of humor and always smiling and in a good mood, I think his name is Bobi. The only drawback or advice is to improve the hygiene of the hotel, especially when the guests stay longer than a day, and everything else is great and we will always be happy to return to your hotel.

The entrance of the building is very disappointing. It is poor and dirty. As a first experience we got stuck in the elevator. The rooms Eden has occupied are in 6-7-8th floor. The rooms were freshly decorated; housekeeping was ok. However the elevator displays a true security issue which to me is a major issue for a hotel like this. We got the second elevator issue at our departure and had to carry down our luggages 8 floors. Be prepared to such issues if you chose to stay there.
