Capital Hotel Garni

We stayed with a group of 23 people during September. From the beginning, the staff was very helpful and helped us with every detail. From the email exchange to the arrival when one of the guys at reception helped me with my bags, the entire stay for everyone present, including the reception, was incredible.

The rooms are cozy and a good size, the shower is great and the bathroom and room are very clean.

The location allowed us to spend 6 days in the city practically on foot. We took very few taxis because to get anywhere in the center, you will walk no more than 20 minutes.

We will definitely be back.

Best location - center of city, all pedestrian zone with hundreds of restaurants/cafes and shops. Fabulous staff - professional, kind and friendly -nothing was too hard for them, thank you!
Rooms are clean, air-conditioned, shower large with excellent water pressure, beds super comfortable. We had great stay, excellent value - definitely would recommend.

We spent more than 10 days at this hotel this month. The location was excellent, right in the center of Belgrade. The rooms were nice, and the breakfasts were good, tasty, and varied. However, the room cleaning was not perfect; sometimes we did not receive new towels, and other times we did not get coffee and milk.

The reception service was very good, with nice ladies assisting us. Everything was fine until the last day. It turned out that the cleaning staff were cheating and reported that we had taken food and drinks from the minibar during our stay. They took photos of the minibar, but this was a lie; the photos were not taken in our room. We absolutely refused to pay for something we did not take. Unfortunately, the hotel manager did not believe us, and it was only when we proposed to call the police that they accepted that we would not pay.

If you decide to stay in this hotel, please keep this in mind.

I liked this place. In the heart of Belgrad old town. The location is five star. The rooms are small but clean. The air conditioning works well. The shower room is clean. The water has a really good pressure for those taking a long shower :) The breakfast is very generous and good. See the video. Parking the Car on the street nearby is not an option since the hotel is located on a pedestrian street. They recommend a parking house that takes one euro per hour. Or a total of thirteen euro if you have the car there for more than 12 hours. No view but quiet rooms. So all and all very reasonable prices and affordable. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel, clean, cosy, large rooms. However the service at the reception is not welcoming, friendly. I don’t know, maybe it is just the culture. Breakfast needs to be improved. People from Turkey is running the restaurant, it was nice to find brewed tea.
