We had a great stay here. The monkeys were incredibly entertaining to watch from inside our room, just be sure to lock your doors as instructed and not leave items on the porch. Wonderful bar and pool area and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

We were sincerely disappointed with our recent stay at Poonsiri Resort.
While the hotel undeniably has one of the best views in the area, the facilities are in poor condition. The photos online make it look perfect, but the reality is very different. The place is clearly worn down and lacks the necessary staff to keep it clean and well-maintained.
We booked a full week all the way from Chile, but ended up leaving the very next day due to the deteriorated conditions and lack of proper service. Despite this, no refund was offered for the unused nights.
In the end, the best decision we made was to leave and book another hotel, which was far better in every way.
Sadly, we cannot recommend Poonsiri Resort based on our experience with both the service and the facilities.
It was our honeymoon — and unfortunately, they turned it into a terrible experience.

We just checked in to this hotel.
At 4:30 pm we dropped our stuff in our room.
At 5:00pm we left to go to the market.
In our villa room, we close everything.
We got back to the hotel at 9:45 pm.
and our room was destroyed by a monkey.
The monkey ripped our clothes.
The monkey peed and pooped on our shirts.
I did not even see my gold earring.
shaving kit and makeup kit—it's all outside the room.
It was a nightmare.
The hotel did not do anything, and they still made us pay for 1 night.
I'm not coming back to this hotel anymore; it was really a disaster night...

Best hotel we have ever stayed in without doubt. The rooms are immaculate and the setting is paradise. Dont worry about short trip to centre as it is only 10 minutes and free shuttle runs regularly but GRAB app also works well and only 200 Baht. It also means you are in a place of complete tranquility with the best staff we have ever encountered. They were extremely helpful at all times and their friendly manner every day was a joy and made our holiday. Special mentions to Arnon and Smile who are outstanding in their customer care and we were sad to have to leave.

Nice and quiet place, rooms are nice with lake view. Be careful of the monkeys, they steal laundry from balcony’s haha. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many day trips available. Recommend!

A very quiet and excellent resort for those looking for peace and quiet away from the noise. The room is excellent and has a panoramic view of the lake. The hotel staff is always smiling and very helpful. The rooms are in a circular shape on the lake. There are monkeys that are sometimes annoying. Other than that, it is a beautiful resort.

The surrondings are very beautiful, most of the staff were lovely, the food is of varying quality. The monkeys are fun to watch, but Im not sure selling fishfood is the best ideas with these around. Everytime your neighbours are feeding the fish you have to avoid the balconies as the monkeys surronds it. The shuttle was a great addition due to the location. The airconditioning is not great and you can hear your neighbours very well. The rooms are a bit outdated and there are still masking tape from the last paint job, as well as some kind of insect nest in the roof. The sellingpoint for this place would be the surrondings and that its close to nature in good and bad. The view from the balcony is beautiful and you can spot water monitors as they swim by. Overall great for a few days if you love wildlife.

Our honeymoon started off perfectly at this stunning hotel. We arrived very early in the morning and, although our room wasn’t ready because the hotel was fully booked, the front desk staff went above and beyond. They turned on the AC and made us feel at home in the game room and later in the cabanas while preparing our room.
The breathtaking views, immaculate facilities, and sparkling clean pool exceeded our expectations. Every staff member greeted us with a smile, making our stay truly memorable. Special thanks to Anup, who helped us with our first rental bike. Although the rental experience wasn't ideal, the warmth and hospitality we experienced at the hotel made up for it.
We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip and will definitely be returning next time we're in Krabi. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay!.

My stay at Poonsiri Resort was a delightful escape into nature. Nestled among trees with mountains and a private lake nearby, the resort offered a peaceful retreat from the usual tourist spots. The bungalow I stayed in was comfortable and clean, with both AC and a fan to combat the Thai heat. I particularly loved the bathroom - the shower was fantastic! The balcony overlooking the lake was perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation.
While the room was cozy, I did notice a few small ants. The sofa bed was a bit firm for my liking, but it didn't detract much from the overall experience.
The resort's grounds were beautifully laid out. I spent plenty of time lounging by the pool, which, although a tad warm, was still refreshing. The on-site restaurant surprised me with its delicious offerings.
What really stood out was the staff's friendliness. They even shuttled me to the nearby 7-Eleven in a golf buggy - talk about service! Despite feeling secluded, I found it easy to explore. The resort's shuttle to Ao Nang beach and village every 2 hours was convenient, and when I wanted more flexibility, a taxi was only 200 baht.
Oh, and the monkeys! They added a wild touch to the experience. Just remember to keep your doors locked! I really wanted to like the property but the private lake is algae colored and that's a bit of a dissapointment considering that is supposed to be the resort's USP.
The rooms are nice and comfortable with good patios.
The staff will warn you about the presence of monkeys in the property but will refuse to send a golf cart to get you to the lobby, funnily enough.
I stayed here for 1 night before my return flight to India, can definitely recommend a short stay here, wouldn't want to bank on the kayaking and views.
