Pros:
Actually I like how peaceful the place is. The pool is clean and beautiful. The staff are nice. The beds, pillows, and duvets are soft. Rooms (family suite with connecting rooms) are clean. Delicious complimentary cookies. So many good things about Palayana.

Cons:
But the sexy bathrooms haunted me for the whole trip since I went there with my family. The moment I opened the door, I can see the bath tub right in front of my eyes. Imagine if someone is using the tub and a housekeeper or a family member opens the door... all toilets and bathrooms have no lock and have very limited space for putting towel & cloth. It's difficult to get dressed inside. But if I get dressed outside, the bathroom area connects to bedroom without any door or closable partition. There are big mirrors in the area too. People in the bedroom maybe able to see me naked. This one thing makes my vacation a stressful horrible experience that I would never want to repeat.

Our whole group of friends celebrated my best friends' wedding here. It was such a beautiful hotel with cozy villas & plunge pools. The common pool is just beautiful with the view of the beach & there are so many cute details that make this the perfect beach getaway!!

I have just a few words to stay about the Palayana !!
If you ever want your dreams to come true for a wedding , Palayana is the only hotel to make this happen for you.
Fantastic hotel, beautiful rooms, outstanding hospitality , and the best fusion Indian food to die for !
They just don't go wrong anywhere !

Absolutely gem of a place to have a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your holiday. The serene beauty of this resort along with excellent hospitality staff makes it a dream holiday destination.
The Manager looked after our all minute requirements. Food is just amazing with the variety of Thai Continental and Indian cuisine.
We had lovely relaxed time and highly recommend this resort.

A beautiful room on the 5th floor over looking to gulf of Thailand. Generous on the luxury side and while the pool and beach side is a little run down the renovated rooms and restaurant make for a perfect recharge.

The property is absolutely gorgeous and the service is impeccable.
I had my wedding here, and the food was out of this world. It was commended by almost every guest. Also the team went all out to help us with everything.

The resort is good and overlooking the beach which is the best part. The outlook is quite fresh and they have maintained it well. We were here for a wedding and everything was managed quite well.

Coming to the room, it was spacious and very well-lit (very necessary). And the best part was the food, throughout our stay most of the servings were good.

Very beautiful Hotel. We have enjoyed very much the pool cause there were not a lot of people. Beautiful place to be: very good breakfast, good location, great room, very service oriented, good cocktails 🍸

We planned a wedding at The Palayana back in May 2023. If there is any property I would come back to again and again and plan weddings with, it is this fabulous team. You never get no for an answer and they all are willing to go above and beyond.

The resort is like heaven on earth, away from the chaotic mad life of Thailand nestled in the greens with the beach as the view. Very spacious rooms and the food is absolutely to die for. The prompt service is the cherry on the cake.

A must must visit for a stay and most definitely if you want to plan an intimate wedding here.

Your every penny spent here will be worth it.

Highly recommend The Palayana.

Booked the Jacuzzi Suite for a total of 2 nights. The location was wonderful for those who are looking for a quiet spot to unwind, away from the city life. It would be more convenient if you are driving/riding as parking lots are also ample, with lots available at the lobby front as well as thier basement floor.

The Jacuzzi Suite room was huge. The jacuzzi located on the balcony is big enough for 2-4 adults.

The only downsides of the room is the drainage for the jacuzzi is not very good & will 'flood' part of the balcony floor when draining the water. Lastlt, there is no TV in the 'sleeping' portion of the room.

Nonetheless it was a wonderful 2 night stay. The staffs were all friendly & helpful. Checking in & out was a breeze. Will consider to be visit here again the next time. 👍
