If you are looking for a calm, relaxing time out, come to Cha Am. Here, Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort is one of the older properties but one of the coziest as well.
The rooms are big and clean and have a traditional touch to the ambience. There are few restaurants in the property which serve good food choices, ample drink options as well. The breakfast spread is very big and delicious. The swimming pool is very beautiful and a highlight for the property.
The beach is just across the road and has a well maintained promenade. There are few restaurants and local joints nearby to hangout as well. A very quiet relaxing location for weekends.

We’re enjoying our stay here. An earlier review indicated the building is 30 years old, hard to believe as it’s in top repair. Hotel is very quiet, but all services are staffed and available. Rooms are very comfortable, beds larger than indicated on website—-2 people could sleep in the “single “ beds, plus there’s a couch by the window (affording excellent views of the pool and beach). All public areas are well presented, clean, and attractive.
We ate in the 4th floor restaurant, and enjoyed the room to ourselves. Everyone was pleased with their meal, all of which looked great—-especially the pineapple fried rice. The desserts looked (and tasted) so good we kept ordering more. Would gladly stay here again

Look it's over 30 years old but it has everything you need and more. I recommend you bring your family here and stay. Love the staff, the service and the continual smiles. I want to live in the house on the roof of the hotel!!

A very comfy resort area. We came here on early January, not extremely / very hot, just hot!!🙆🏼

Great place with less group tourist. It is quiet but pack with activities. The only con for this place is the gym is tiny. It is a good place for family

This place is a real gem a bit off the main tourist routes. Okay maybe not at the best beach of Thailand but very clean and spacious rooms, great tasting food and kind staff. Would go here again and chill any time again!

Staff really nice and kind, the buffet was quite nice too a lot of options and we went just before the high season started so it was a bit quiet. Amazing weather, it has good AC, gym, games, big swimming pools, close to the sea but not for swimming due to high tide and jellyfish but if you wanna go to an easy beach you can rent a bike to the guy next to the hotel, it takes 10 minutes to get to the beach. Or you can book in advance for grab to take you to Hua Hin and enjoy beach there. Don’t get taxi from the hotel they charge double the price.

The resort looks like outdated 4 stars, the staff is one star. My first bad experience in thailand in 6 years. They charged you whag it is part of package. They over rule their policy to make me paid reception managemeng rude and unfriendly. Resort with nothing to do except for company party. There are far much better hotel in cha-am . I still cannoy beleive that i have been rip off by laying twice the service!
