Chai Chet Resort Koh Chang

I liked the hotel very much. Huge territory, all well-kept. Many beautiful places for photos. Seven Eleven is a couple of minutes walk away. Breakfasts are delicious buffet, if there are few people, then from the menu. We were out of season. Excursions can be ordered at the reception. Beautiful pool.

We had a rest in March 2025, booked a premier villa. We liked everything, a spacious villa, a beautiful view from the window, all the amenities, a refrigerator, a safe, a kettle, new towels, a large comfortable bed, a quiet air conditioner. Good breakfasts, the beach is nearby, there are hotel sun loungers and beach towels.

Wonderful hotel. We stayed there more than once - we want to go back. The most important criterion is the price/quality ratio. In its price category - everything is just super. Our favorite type of room is a villa on a hill. The territory is large and beautiful. Its own beach with sun loungers (although without mattresses, just plastic ones). 7/11, cafes, pharmacies, massages are about 10 minutes walk away. Breakfasts are modest, the usual set. The staff is helpful, always respond to requests, help, smile. It is best to go into the sea opposite the neighboring hotel Coconut. We also had dinner on the shore in the cafe of this hotel - everything is delicious and the price is reasonable, fire show daily. The only small inconvenience is when corporate Thai parties are held - karaoke until 22:00, then the drunk locals can still make noise. But this happens in many hotels, the Thais love corporate parties in hotels on the island. We are their guests. In general, for not too demanding tourists, for a reasonable price, it is a very good hotel.

Everything was great. Great room. Polite and attentive staff. Everything is very good.

Lived in all types of rooms: on the beach, on the mountain and on a separate private cape. Everywhere is great

Absolutely stunning resort, great view of the bay. Staff were very friendly and always helpful! All facilities were great including beautiful swimming pool and dining in the evening was lovely.Torrential rain flooded our room one night but the staff quickly moved us and offered discount etc so we were happy to stay again. 10/10 would come here again to stay !

Very well run resort, ideal for our 5 days on the island. We spent our time between the beach and the lovely swimming pool, both never felt busy at all, plenty of loungers and loads of room. The beach is good for swimming, low tide you'll need to walk out a bit to get deep, but it wasn't a bother. The swimming pool is fantastic, the best we've found in Thailand. Credit to the staff, they are very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was great, they lean more towards Asian style breakfast (not a bad thing), the French toast was really nice, shame it was only available on one of the morning. My only suggestion to make the breakfast even better is to have some pastries on offer, apart from that brilliant. The rooms are comfortable and clean, yes they are slightly dated now but it almost gives off a little charm, you don't come to Koh Chang to sit in your room! The location of the resort is great, you have everything you need around you, loads of nice cheap restaurants, and a handy Seven 11. My onlu negative was the hire fee for the kayaks at 300 baht per hour which I thought was high, for this reason we didn't use them. Maybe they could be free to use for guests for 1 hour, anything past that could be charged? All in all a great stay, I'd highly recommend if you're looking for a place where you can relax, chill and enjoy the sunshine, the resort has everything you need!

Nice resort with clean and beautiful bungalows. Beach just a minute or two away. Pool nice but little busy. Breakfast so so.
