Best Hotels in Chang Island

It’s not that fancy it’s only to selection, but both of them are good and it’s rotating so not the same food every day. The room is quite big and maybe because this is a rainy season so the price is very reasonable

Even though the hotel itself is not next to the beach, but they provide a shuttle to the hotel’s private beach The Thai food that they serve in breakfast are really good for both of the day that I’m staying

The rooms are nice, a little bit dark though but the views outside and the water behind the homestays is definitely worth it. Staff is really friendly and service more than good

Also, the service are excellent. All of their staff are very nice, polite, and helpful. To some of I am actually quite impressed with this place

The food could be better however overal great experience

Yeah the rooms are nice and this is a nice resort but you can definitely see why it's only 3 star resorts and not 4 as it should. Maybe they will fix there what need to be fix and they will be great agian

Food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced with a good wine selection including an attractive 1+1 promotion. During low season, breakfast is very limited on some days

It seems that vacation on such hotel should be excellent, but it's not. We stayed for 3! weeks and: Magic bed, extremely good breakfast, amazing territory, beautiful sunset

Just beware that this resort is not surrounded by nightlife, but if you want to relax and unwind quietly, then it is a good option

The staff went above and beyond when I asked for something extra special for me and my girlfriend’s anniversary. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back

Location very out the way but fine if you want a quiet getaway around the hotel. Other than that was a terrific experience. The food from restaurant was amazing

Both swimming pools are too hot 7. second swimming pool has no sunbeds 8. very hard and difficult entering the sea and important thing - all stuff are so so lazy and slow. We tried to check out for 30! minutes

The spa is excellent - I recommend trying the signature herbal ball treatment. Select the Pool Villa option for an experience featuring not just 1 pool, but also 2 private jacuzzis , unlike any hotels

I booked with include dinner and kayak to the island near by. Staff is really nice and helpful. They provide a lot of help and great service. Breakfast line is full of good Thai Food and delicious

Good food! Also u can book a boat 🚤 for snorkeling, a kayak, if u staying next to the beach they have a car to bring u up to the breakfast. I’m just in love with this place ❤️

It was a huge, and amazing resort! I We have a nice view from our room - Grand Deluxe Room 2. We can see the beauty of the Koh Chang Island. It was excellent romantic place for couple as well for the family

Wi-Fi works only at the restaurant, not in the rooms. Breakfast is super good but for westerns be aware this is more of an Asian style. It is close to many local restaurants

It does look like old Hawaiian hotels built in the 70s but the rooms are still OK. The beach is pretty generous compared to other resorts nearby. Wi-Fi and breakfast are two areas where they could vastly improve

It is a very old but decent hotel. Enough if you want to spend a chilled time in front of the beach with no luxury. It was relatively clean and the staff is very friendly

The receptionists are attentive and helpful about everything. They are also fluent in English. The location of the hotel is perfect because it is located in the middle of the western coast of the island

There is a supermarket just next to the hotel and you can find some basic goods, foods and drinks. You can walk to the beach 🏖️ in 5 minutes. The beach is really beautiful and sandy

Although we had a problem about the electrical outlets after entering our room, the staff helped us and solved the problem quickly. The air conditioning system works well

You can go either the westward or eastward easily. The hotel is not far from the center. There are also some massage shops, barbershops 💈and restaurants

Great value for money ! The location is not right on the beach like other resorts, but it sits on a lagoon and is charming in its own way. Rooms are spacious, clean and well designed

Really nice hotel, very clean, huge pool, near the sea. Breakfast was fantastic. Definetely worth the money.

The included breakfast at the restaurant that we had is very excellent as also the other food choices on the menu for lunch and dinner. Also our small dog Skye really enjoyed it and the staff also took good care of him

Great island hotel! Beach for swimming - you need to navigate a little to the left (there are definitely no stones there), swimming pool, breakfast - everything is on the level!

We’ve stayed in last June for 6 days at this fantastic resort with a beautiful garden that is kept well maintained

We are a family of four expats and I highly recommend this resort. Fantastic staff who were exceptional with our two boys doing various activities. Lovely staff who were at the spa

All staf that we met from front office, restaurant or cleaning and gardening are very polite and friendly

The restaurant/café had long opening hours and offered a vegan selection, which was nice for us as vegans. The massages we were able to book on site were excellent - you could tell the staff were experienced

The small gym and the excursions on offer were also great. The lady at reception was very supportive and even organized our return trip to the other accommodation. The views of the jungle and mangroves were breathtaking

We were able to rent bicycles and kayaks free of charge. We also took part in a yoga class led by a super great and friendly teacher. Overall, it was a quiet, clean and welcoming place where we felt very comfortable

Two bottles of water were placed outside our door every morning, which was a nice touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, we immediately felt at home

Beautiful hotel on the lovely island of Koh Chang. The hotel is built with traditional Thai hardwood carvings on top of a modern infrastructure, so very characterful but efficient

I stay long vacation here for a week. It's good for your money to stay at paradise villa on the beach. Here is a huge resort and knows about gluten free food. There are 4 swimming pools in the different areas

Location - KC Grande has a bike rental next to it, we rented a Yamaha Aerox for 300 baht a day and the lady gave us discounts for extending our rental. We drove around the whole island and explored with no problems

Excellent hotel! The location is super, one of the best beaches on Koh Chang! I recommend the Grand de Luxe room with sea view on the third floor! First line, gorgeous view from the balcony, especially at sunset!

super easy access beach, choice of 5 pools, great open air sea view breakfast. Pleasant staff, with the remarkable Mr. Takit who manages the restaurant (and the great Mark waiter), both deserve promotion

The beach is good, clean and not small. And our room is very large and has a sea view. There are a lot of people at breakfast, but the sea is quiet and you can’t hear anyone. I really enjoyed relaxing there

Beautiful remote hotel with stunning scenery We stayed there a couple of nights for a photo shoot with the new da Vinci inflatable kayaks but will definitely come back for a holiday! It's a beautiful hotel and resort perfect also for couples or a romantic escape

I also made a mistake about payment and they worked with me to ensure I understood my mistake. We enjoyed breakfast every morning with the turtles and fish. The kayaking across the bay is enjoyable

To explore the surrounding you can find waterfalls, temple, fisher village, lonely beach and the mangrove forest. The hotel can bring you to an private little island which looks like paradise

The staff is very customer oriented! When I made my booking I did not do my research well. They allowed me to shorten my stay and upgrade my room to make our experience much better

There are swimming pool if you don't want to swimm at the beach. This hotel is at Sun set location you can see beautiful sun set every time you stay there

I'll have to call room service to have them checked. On the bright side, the pool is lovely, but the beach next to it is full of slippery rocks, so if you're looking for a beach to walk on, this hotel isn't recommended

The hillside deluxe room with huge tub was amazing. The beachside rooms seemed a little outdated but the pools, views and service were great. Also enjoyed their restaurant greatly

Very nice resort with friendly staff and good food. However, two points could be improved: At 7:30 all sunbeds on the beach or the pool are already reserved (as you can see in the photos)

We had a comfortable 4 night stay at paradise resort staying in one of their bungalows near the beach. The location of the bungalows was just a stone throw away from the beachfront which we could see from our porch

Great location, great beach . The swimming pool a bit small, take some ant and mosquito stuff with you as they are quite a few. They are everywhere in Thailand. Lovely staff, I will definitely recommend it.

Sitting on a gorgeous stretch of sandy beach which is walkable all tones it day with no restaurants directly on the sand which was nice. To explore the island or beyond the resort road, a car or taxi is required

Pretty good the room I got was across the street from the ocean so beware of where your room is. The place was a little musty but very clean and large room. I did wake up to the sounds of a mouse in my room however

We stayed in the deluxe beach view room on 3rd floor overlooking the most beautiful sunsets. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5+ is that the beach is better in other areas of koh Chang

Wonderful resort with an amazing architecture. The pool is it’s own wonder as well as the breakfast. Staff is great and very service minded

The "Restaurant" experience was strange. Only offered a few dishes in the breakfast room. No beach access and dark rooms but fancy modern design.

Overall, the atmosphere is great, quiet, and peaceful with good service from the staff. It’s a perfect place to relax and has a 7kW EV charger. The room prices are reasonable

On the bright side, the food and cocktails were fantastic, and the massage options were excellent

However, the food is not very fresh and not tasty, but finding good food on the island is not difficult

Near beach and could see sunset. The pool is clean, and the breakfast selection is many. The room is big and has separate bath facilities. However, no toothbrush and paste were provided. All other amenities are available

It would be nice if they added some modern touches, like a Bluetooth speaker in the rooms, which would have made our stay even better. One thing we found a bit challenging was the lack of dairy alternatives for coffee

The evening restaurant was rather expensive and average (in comparison) personally I think you are better off at restaurants around the area but nonetheless dining right at the beach for sunset can be stunning!

Excellent service comes with the same attention as staying at the relative home. The atmosphere is very good. We love here and hope to visit again, Thank you so much.

My budget room had a world class view. The included breakfast was tasty with an omelet, bacon, toast and fresh fruit. On my birthday they brought a chocolate cake. It was one of the best I've ever had

Heavy rain for most of my time there. Beautiful location and setting on the river , just behind a sand bank and the open sea. Food good but expensive for Thailand. Well worth a visit if you can tolerate the bad roads

The cheaper rooms near the lower pool looked quite unappealing from the outside. The staff were very obliging and helpful, although a lack of good English made communication difficult at times

I have stayed on Koh Chang previously so I understand that this is a particularly good location. The food is unparalleled and excellent quality for the price

From the manager down to the cleaners, they were all very nice to deal with, especially the lady from Cambodia, I think her name was Lyn from the breakfast who tried to her best despite not having any help and kept smiling and being so positive

The hotel is really great! Garden villa is best of the Best! Breakfast - very good. The hotel situated at the end of the White sand Beach, which is very convenient. The only BUT is the women at the reception

I had a great 4 night stay here. For the price you pay everything is excellent but the highlight for me was the 5* service from the manager (Patt) and her team

If there id anything to complain about is that some of the rooms arent the best. Example: Corner rooms facing the sea: Furniture too large for balcony. No hot water (we couldt find) and no place to hang the nozle

Nothing is good here! The staff are rude, food expensive and tastes like crap and the rooms are so moist that the first thing welcoming me was a toad jumping OUT of the horrific place for prostitution

They lose a star because of day hallway caused severly sprained ankle for old fat guy 555..... 1200 baht mind be a little high, but I like their effort to please.....

How many bad ratings? A great place also. Pure territory pales in comparison with other beaches, where very few were removed. Staff very friendly, trying to solve any issues. Rooms may be quite simple but cozy

The beach is good for swimming, low tide you'll need to walk out a bit to get deep, but it wasn't a bother. The swimming pool is fantastic, the best we've found in Thailand

Torrential rain flooded our room one night but the staff quickly moved us and offered discount etc so we were happy to stay again. 10/10 would come here again to stay !

The villa we stayed at is located on the hill and from what I gather is a very good location, as it's a fairly quiet and beautiful area and the resort itself has everything you need, private beach, pool, good restaurant and beautiful spots for taking pictures
