Siam Beach Resort

The rooms are a little run down, but are clean.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
And the beach is absolutely amazing.
Beware of the monkeys, but I would definitely visit again 🙏

This place is probably one of the best hotels to stay at on Koh Chang, and it would be close to perfect if a friend didn't have her shoes stolen from in front of the verandah last night. They left mine but took hers. Strange. If you stay here be sure to keep your shoes inside! Also the management and reception are not very friendly, but the twins who take care of the bar — Dan and Da — are really awesome, friendly and super helpful. Sunsets here are nothing short of spectacular.

The Siam beach resort at Kacha Resort & Spa, Koh Chang, offers a breathtaking view of the ocean right from your room. The service is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff. The room is cozy, clean, and well-maintained, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury for a relaxing getaway.

The hotel is on the very best part of Lonely Beach with golden sand that slopes gently into the sea and is great for swimming. It is one of the best beaches we have ever been on. There are plenty of shady trees. There are also a few good beach bars and restaurants along the beach. There is a large crystal clear swimming pool. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a large balcony overlooking the sea. However, the rooms are immediately adjacent to the road and suffer from traffic noise.

Although the rooms are smart and modern the same cannot be said about the reception area and the restaurant which appear rather neglected. Also the grounds could do with work; for instance the access to our room was over broken concrete, pipes and tree roots.

Breakfast included a good choice of food and very good coffee.

I recommend booking an upstairs room for because they all have large patio doors and the ones on the ground floor have little privacy.

Despite my reservations above I would be happy to stay there again.

If you book a room, book a Dublex room. They are modern than some others in the resort. Hope they renovate other rooms too.There is some monkeys around, but i only see few of them. So No need to worry about them. Beach is nice and the staff is helpful. Breakfast is avarage ,but okay.
Drinks in the bar are pricey, but wort it! Would go back here.

A great place to go with small kids. The pool, beach, bar, and restaurant are all very close together.

Breakfast buffet was simple but decent (Thai & western options) only had lunch at the restaurant once and it was not bad either.
There are other restaurants, bars, nightclubs and boat rental places along the beach, but it was never so loud at night that we could hear it in our room. The Himmel Beach Bar is right in front of the southernmost rooms blaring loud music, but I think it closes around 6 pm or so.
The cleaning staff did a really great job in the rooms and they came by every day to see if you wanted your room made up.
As with almost every place we've stayed in Thailand so far, the grounds could use a bit of maintenance, but the rooms are nice and modern and you spend most of your time in the pool or on the beach anyway.
