The Splash Koh Chang - SHA Extra Plus

A nice quiet "hotel". It's not a hotel in the usual term but a collection of modern bungalows and various two storey buildings. The pool is great for families, it has 5 water slides and a depth of just over a metre so children can stand easily. The breakfast was excellent. There are restaurants and a 7/11 close

Clean, spacious rooms, we had a great intimate location. Good breakfast buffet with many options to choose from. As for me, the coffee from the machine is terrible 😜 but the rest is very ok. Live music in the evenings on the beach. The water park is great, fun for small children and adults. Because of this, the hotel is rather full of families with children (be aware 😉).

A great place to spend an afternoon with kids. 5,6 slides, shallow pool with pool amusements for toddlers. Food totally solid, western snack type stuff.

Great spot for a couple days if you have small kids so they can play at the water park. Our kid logged in about 8 hours of swimming a day there and there are lots of kids to make friends. Breakfast was basic.

Fantastic hotel with friendly and honest staffs. I lost money beside the swimming pool and the guard was kind enough to hand it over to the reception, who later on returned it to me when i enquired. The atmosphere is top notch and peaceful.

Good hotel, amazing green landscape, everything is clean and beautiful. The aqua park is safety and everyone can enjoy and have fun, including adults. In April the swimming pool’s water is warm, may be even hot😁

We stayed at The Splash Koh Chang with my family 8 nights, my 4 year old daugter loved water slides, the beach was clean with lovely sunset, breakfast with many option.

We spent there 7 nights with our 7 years old daughter. I think this was a pretty decent hotel, but I found small things to improve.
Starting with strong points:
- crew - you can feel that all people working there are super helpful and nice, I send my greeting especially to guys working on the front/parking, always greeting with smile!
- very nice swimming pool with water slides
- good location - everything around, 7-Eleven just next to hotel, travel agencies, shops, restaurants, literally everything
- super nice Thai massage on the beach!
Couple of things to improve:
- I have paid a full amount for adult for my daughter to have a separate bed, bedding, towels etc. but room was prepared for two... Reception quickly corrected that, but sometimes we received two towels, on other days three...
- hotel is clean, but I found couple of places which haven't been cleaned for long, i.e. towel hanger on terrace
- prices in restaurant and bar - these were too high in my opinion, on average about twice as much in comparison to all places around. That is why these places were quite empty and you can see people coming back from 7-eleven with full bags of stuff :)
Also things which are not in control of the hotel, but I would like to mention:
- quite a lot of russians in the hotel and I do not feel comfortable around them
- there is a construction side just next to hotel, they are a bit noisy, but starting with big noise around 8. Looking at the building under construction it will still take some time to finish that.

very cool hotel. built in 2020 I think? huts worked as they should, pool was pretty crazy except for that it only was 1 meter deep, whats the point when you cant even swim? anyways the beach bar was nice and they had a fireshow at night. breakfast was mediocre.

The location is not the best.
The beach that belongs to the hotel is not possible to be in during morning time, when the tide is high, and you should take a taxi to other beach areas.
I think the small water park is not enough, and if you really want to explore the island and enjoy the center areas without taking a taxi everytime, you should choose white sand beach or even better- kao Bai beach area
