Dusit2 is a fantastic hotel which caters for your every need. I have stayed at this hotel twice now (10 years apart) and the service is as good as anytime. The staff are sensational; kind, friendly and can’t do enough for you. They make the stay the success that it is. The rooms are fantastic, with a great bathroom, views and services. The hotel is in the heart of things with the Night Bizarre at your doorstep and many, many food places meters away. I will be back!

We are now left with no accommodation and are unable to book the location we wanted and are out priced and will need to stay at a very basic place due to the very high rates as we are so close to the booking dates. Thank you Dusit Hotel! I will pop in and take some images to prove that your hotel is not closed and you are just greedy and dishonest. Will upload images on my return..
post review: the hotel has responded saying they are back open from the 31st December? Our booking is for the 10th January..more lies…5 star hotels don’t cancel their guests so they can fetch a higher rate to other guests nor do they lie to the back of their teeth…floods in December??? watch for more lies in response to my update😇

Booked room here Sept 24-27th. Due to flood in city, only stayed 1 night. Was told by front desk manager, they would issue refund through Expedia, so I could move to non flooded hotel. I’ve now been given partial refund, month and half. Appreciate the service your staff gave us, to get out of flood zone. Really well handled.

My spouse and I stayed two nights. The lobby is amazing, very spacious and modern. The breakfast offers a wide selection and is spacious and clean. The service is outstanding. The gym is also notable. Having said this, the rooms are very dated and especially the carpet is very stained and smelly. The staff accepted to change our room but although the room smelled less the carpet is a big issue. But wait it gets worse: the morning of our departure I found a live cockroach on my clothes. I freaked. The employee at reception downplayed the whole thing when I asked the hotel's assistance to speak to their pest control regarding how I could ensure we did not pack pests or pests eggs in our luggage, I received zero assistance. It was not taken seriously.

As soon as you enter, the hotel is spotless and gives a warm and refreshing sensation. These rooms are not only comfortable but well planned in a way that combines modern facilities with a homely feel. One person who deserves special mention is Khun View, the cleaner who does much more than what one would expect in ensuring all the small things are handled. Attention to cleanliness and detail on her part helps to improve general visitors’ experience thereby making their stay very enjoyable indeed.

It was my second visit to the dim sum buffet, and I am so in love with it. The menu varieties, the taste, the staff, the service—everything is excellent. I can't wait to come back!

Everything was good except that I noticed that at the breakfast table, the waiters while cleaning the table, they just sweep the bread crumbs and stuff from the table to the floor. End up the floor around the table are always full of bread crumbs, also at the tea station even though it says black tea, there were only 2 pots of green tea. The waiter still point to the pots and tell me that it's Earl Grey even though it clearly says that is green tea. Hopefully they can improve on the cleanliness

Wonderful hotel located in the night bazaar area of Chiang Mai. Rooms were spacious, cool, clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar had a nice range of food. Staff were all very friendly. Hotel is close by lots of markets, food stalls, and massage centres. Definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Chiang Mai.

As others have said, the rooms are outdated and I would not consider them physically to be a 5 star (more a 3.5 star hotel).

However, the service is absolutely 5 star. From the doorman, to check in, to housekeeping and to dining. The food is great (room service is better than what you get at breakfast), rooms are spotless, and the team goes the extra mile to make this a nice stay.

I would absolutely stay at the Dusit D2 again when I’m back in Chiang Mai.
