The hotel is great for a work conference. Big rooms, big bathroom and nice features. Location is a little far from old city and night market to walk but there is a 7 Eleven across the road and a few restaruants next door. Breakfast buffet and lunch buffet if high quality.
Situated on the river bank a bit off location hotel. Bit dark inside due to the choice of colours. Rooms are large and spacious but need renovation. Haven't been done up in a long time. Very few electric points in the room and none around the bed to charge your mobile. Buffet breakfast spread is limited and just about makes the mark. Very courteous staff and always willing to help. On the plus side...
Little outside the main city but also away from noise. Beautiful hotel, we even got a free upgrade. Pool is little small but still doable for a quick swim. Shuttle service to night bazaar is a great gesture. Easy to get cabs using grab. Overall a great experience.
A very nice hotel with great staff. Everyone was do friendly and always said good morning or afternoon. The rooms are nice and a nice lounge / bar of the side of the lobby. The swimming pool is okay, but I have been to better pools at other hotels. They do have a bar at the pool and you can order drinks and some finger foods. The hotel is not that far from the airport and a cheap taxi fare to the...
Friendly and very helpful lady at IHG check-in, complimentary upgrade, impressive lobby area, huge clean suite with nice view, very comfortable bed, big bathroom with strong water pressure, good breakfast and dinner buffet. Only at the executive lounge, I did expect a better choice of beverage and snacks. Music at the pool a bit too loud and quite a few mosquitoes in the lobby at the sofa area. All...
Nice place to stay while in Changmai! The hotel is a classic holiday inn , everything you need is here , location is convenient. Tuk Tuk rides only 150 thb to the main gate and all the activities and restaurants. The team here is very friendly and accommodating ! , from the early morning chef who cooks your omelette and also still manages to find you and brings them with a hearty smile !, to the...

We loved this hotel! From the moment we were picked up at the airport and met Ton we were treated like royalty. Our room was upgraded to a high floor with the Mountain View. We were celebrating our engagement and the staff went above and beyond decorating the room. I’d go back to Chiang Mai just to stay at this hotel and hang with Ton.
We've been here 7x to eat at their different restaurants.. All excellent.. service, food, drinks & staff are very personable. A quite cool atmosphere to relax. We live in Chaing Mai so we didn't stay in the hotel but all Marriott's around the world is our Go-To place.
Great hotel, service, location. Right next to the night bazaar. Very hospitable, from when I entered until I exited. The rooms and amenities were nice. And the breakfast buffet was great too. Definitely a 5 star experience.
Recently stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Ching Mai and the overall experience was somewhat disappointing. First, the room was extremely small. Considering the space standards and price in Thailand, the room felt very cramped and there was hardly any space to open our luggage. This might be because the third floor has many conference rooms, which seem to take up most of the space, affecting our accommodation...
This hotel is definitely a 5 star establishment. They newly renovated their lobby and restaurants. The staff is amazing, friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. The rooms are incredible. The pool and fitness facility is top notch. They also have locker rooms and a sauna at the fitness center. The breakfast buffet is worth staying in and relaxing before going out to explore the city. I will always stay...
We had dinner at this Chinese restaurant called Han The at the Marriott. It was an awesome experience! The food was made with care and looked amazing. The flavors were authentic and on point, and the service was top-notch. The staff was super attentive and friendly. We even started the night with some killer cocktails at the bar. Those drinks were not to be missed! I highly recommend getting there...

Great place to stay, the daily breakfast is great. Starting to notice west and tear around the place that makes it look a bit aged. Staff are very helpful and friendly and have good English.
I have stayed here a few times. I like the fact that it is near the Night Bazaar, which is a lively place at night. My room, which had a king - sized bed, was a decent size. The breakfast is okay, with a selection of Western and Asian cuisine.
Four star lobby. Two star rooms. The rooms were very outdated and the bathrooms were not that clean. Location was good, in the hotel district. Breakfast had lots to choose from. Even if you didn't like what was served you could probably find something else. Service was excellent.
This hotel was super convenient and location was great. It was near good bars and restaurants. Also we booked excursions from a nearby shop. The pool and included free breakfast was a plus. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We got a free upgrade for the room. Highly recommend this hotel.
Good location, located near the Sunday night market . Also located near few place of interest like old that phae gate and wat chedi luang. Room a bit old but friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely hotel well located close the old town food markets and other tourist hotspots. A little old itself but clean and friendly with a very nice breakfast buffet with all the usual Asian and Western favourites on offer. Nice relaxing bar and the drinks are cold. A great base to explore Chiang Mai from!

I agree with other positive reviews here.. large hotel, lobby is grand and has a luxury feel for its price. The room is clean and quiet, pool and other amenities are great. I have enjoyed it compared to 2 others hotels in the area. And the price.. great value.
A very good but old hotel. The staff are very nice and the facilities here are excellent, and the decor is very nice, however, it’s very classical. The prices were very reasonable for such a central location in Chiang Mai. It was close to the night market and all the restaurants and the weekend market as well. There was no shortage of restaurants and places to visit and check out.
Everyone is really nice here! The rooms were good.... this is an older hotel, but still good. The lobby is magnificent! With all the chandeliers, statues, sitting areas, small bar and a little light live playing music makes it great! Pool is cold, but on a hot day would be refreshing! We enjoyed our stay here(7days). Would stay here again.
Great hotel. Location is great as it's very close to the night market. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel looks really good from the outside, the room is nice and big and clean but it needs a little TLC. The bathroom needs a bit of work done. It looks tired and in need of an facelift. See tiny little bugs crawling around the sink and a few in the tub but a wet cloth can take care of them.not...
Nice and peaceful place. Friendly staffs. Good food. Beautiful arts. Feel at home.

It's a star hotel with spacious bedrooms in tourism area in Chiang Mai. I stayed here for a week. Pretty surprised to see the spacious bedroom with a bath tub, a pantry, a washing machine. The swimming pool has a sauna and a whirl pool.
Firstly, let's talk about the bottom line. This hotel is ideal for families with children who want to stay in a clean and tidy room with a good breakfast and go on day trips during their stay in Chiang Mai. However, it is located a little far from the night market and old city, about a 10 minute taxi ride. My personal experience with the hotel was excellent. I highly recommend it.
It's important to provide a proper space for cleaning staff to rest. Seeing them sitting in a cramped cleaning room was disheartening. They have the right to a fair and decent space to rest. Thanks to their efforts, I was able to enjoy a clean and comfortable hotel, but I believe their working conditions should be improved. All the staff were kind and friendly.
Came here for their breakfast buffet. Many variety of food to chose ( Thai , English ). The food taste good. Bacon is a little rubbery hope they fix this. Service is good too.
I received an excellent service from Kantary Hills! I once tried to stay elsewhere but always come back to Kantary Hills. Location is nearby airport and convenience to go to local shopping centers. So why move? When everything is here. For both personal and work wise, the banquet service provides an outstanding service Khun.Yui, Khun.Noom and the team gave a really good supportive everything literally...
Stayed here for 15 nights. Superb service given by the entire staff and they were so friendly. The rooms were quite comfortable. If you want to cook yourself, each and every room provides the necessary items for cooking. Wifi is super fast but sometimes it's lagging. Variety of foods items there for the meals.

Nice hotel clean location is very good the hotel staff is very friendly. Having my company 5D4N fitness Retreat 8th-12Nov, 4 night here , we requested to use their pool side for an hr yoga class and they allow us to us it for free ❤ And Surprisingly my room can see sunrise ️ Will start here when I come to chiang mai. Overall not recommended. - Saw 2 croaches the first night I stayed at Orchid Hotel. - Lack of cleanliness. Stains on bedsheets and the room smells. - Since it's quite an old hotel, there are unnecessary installments in the room that may hurt the kids. A bit old style hotel but clean and functional, The mattress to be improved…
Nice big rooms. Comfortable beds. Kettle but no cups or tea or coffee - it would be nice to add that. Close to the old town and lots of food options close by. Pool was nice. Improve the breakfast - all the food was cold.
One of the older hotels in Chiang Mai but many things still make this a nice hotel to stay in. Location is great. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. Good pool and gym. I stayed in a very clean and comfortable room which was quiet and had a nice view. 10/10 from me :-)
The stay at Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel Huay Kaew was average overall. The cleanliness, location, service, and amenities were all okay but nothing stood out. It’s a decent option for a short stay, but don’t expect anything beyond the basics. Suitable for solo travelers who just need the essentials
This hotel is extremely good value for money. It is full of art, beautiful furniture, and has an ornate feel. Gym and pool are free of charge to use for guests and it has a restaurant and a cafe. Rooms were spacious and well kept and had lots of old/ vintage dark wood furniture. Staff were helpful and friendly and happy to assist with my luggage

Branded as Novotel yet it's in the Journeyhub Group.... it's more of a ibis with steroids trying very hard to be novotel. Room is compact and clean no doubt. Just because they put a pity pool on roof top doesn't make it a novotel unfortunately.

The best thing about Dusit Princess is the location and the main reason I stay here again. The hotel itself is a bit old but the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are average, nothing special and the bathroom quite small. Buffet breakfast is good though. Overall I would say a good 3 stars hotel
We had high hopes of this hotel when arriving in the lobby as it is very grand however its seems that it's just the lobby where money has been spent. Just ok. Wifi was not working in the room. Localisation not great
The room is average, okay. The bathroom is not very good, not well maintained. The pool schedule opens late and closes early, so we can't use it in the morning. Often, there are classes, so we can't use the pool. Let's just say it's not for hotel customers and we don't need to include the pool issue when booking. But because the room is not expensive and it's okay to stay.

I made a reservation for a business trip just after the floods in Chiang Mai. The breakfast menu is the same every day, but they are open from 6:30am, which was nice. The shower turned cold quickly even though the hot water came out. It was bearable since it was still hot, but I think a cold shower would be impossible in the dry season.
