The Grand hotel is located in the heart of the southern part of Koh Samui, just a short drive from the airport. All rooms are equipped with modern amenities and decorated in a luxurious contemporary style, with an emphasis on local color. The highlight of the hotel complex is a swimming pool surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and a local restaurant offering delicious Thai cuisine.

Consists of one 4-storey building, villas and cottages.

Stayed here for a week after getting a great deal on one of the accommodation platforms. Wasn't sure what to expect after reading other reviews, but we had a ball here!
Rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. Daily cleaning was a nice touch at the price point. Staff were friendly and super-helpful.
Gym and pool facilities were fantastic - spent a number of hours in/around them. Cocktails next to the pool were definitely a highlight.
Only a short walk to one of Samui's many excellent beaches.
I would stay here again for sure, wish we had longer here.

A very nice hotel. We upgraded our room to have the sea view and it was the best decision. There is a very well-equipped gym room. Our room was cleaned every day, and fresh water was provided. The restaurant was unfortunately not working but there is a great place with tasty food called Kai bar right nearby.

Lamai Buri is a great mid range place to stay in lovely Lamai. I've been in two different rooms over 5 weeks. The room is serviced daily. Reception team are helpful, efficient and do all they can to solve any sticky problems that arise. The mid price range rooms have balconies and sea views. There is no obstruction to the view of the sea. The pool is also very good. Internet is a bit patchy but adequate.

Great location. Downfall was they did not have a room ready for us on arrival, we then got into a room and the aircon was dripping water so we got moved at about 11pm. We also had a power outage and we were out of power for 3 hours which we know happens but they kept dragging the hours on. Gym was good & the pool. ( the first pool I’ve swam in)

Was much nicer than I expected. Though its placed by the main road I could sleep well, and the excellent pool area is really quiet and enjoyable. Just a short walk to the beach, lots of restaurants around.

Great place to stay with a lovely service. Clean and shady swimming pool, tasty breakfasts and short way to the beach. The only thing that makes it not 5 stars but 4+, it is that during the night we heard nearby laundry rooms were working.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 5 nights. I am a bit disappointed. Here are the problems.
- noisy air conditioning
- power blackout
- toilet
- No restaurant available
- bed bug
Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. However, I don't think it's worth it to stay here. Sorry to tell the truth.

This hotel is fantastic! My wife and I stayed 2 nights in the standard room and 2 nights in the villa. I recommend the regular rooms since you get pool/ocean view. The bed in our villa was not as comfortable either. Location isn’t amazing but it isn’t bad either. Walking distance from several great restaurants and 5-10 minutes from the beach (ask about the shortcut!). The pool is very nice. AC works like a dream. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Felt like home. Very clean room. Towels, clean up daily. Swimming pool. Green and safe area. 5 minutes from the beach

Staff was friendly
Happy hour was on all day
Got drunk with my friends but the staff was pretty cool about it
Breakfast service is a bit slow but value wasn’t too bad
Just need to improve on the breakfast staff they seem to be very slack
