Hotel of economy class, located in one of the most picturesque parts of Lamai beach. Very popular among Russian tourists. Well-kept green territory, cozy rooms and convenient location allow us to recommend it for a relaxing family holiday, including children.
Built: 1995
Renovated: 2008
Location: 20 km from airport, 8 km from the coast of Chaweng, in the Eastern part of Koh Samui, in the Central part of Lamai beach, on the beach.
Consists of one-storey and three-storey buildings and bungalows located around the swimming pool and garden. Decorated in traditional Thai style.
Only 74 rooms.
Beach: private on-site public sandy beach in 30 m from the hotel (1 coastline), the first coastal line. Umbrellas, deck chairs.

Me and my partner stayed for two nights. The hotel was probably very nice 10 years ago. The bathroom needs a deepclean, the air condition was very weak and super loud, there was no socket next to the bed. Overall way to pricey for what you get. Even the pool table in the common area didnt have enough pool balls and we only found out after they made us pay for it and then blamed a third party for it. The only thing we really enjoyed was the pool and the acess to the beach.

Overall, I had a good experience here and would stay again. Good hotel and location. Customer service could improve - my lock was broken on my door (previously known issue) and the staff asked if I would sleep there a solo female overnight which was not okay. They moved me to another room after I pushed for it and then was going to move me back into the room with the broken lock - which I refused unless was fixed. Claimed they were fully booked NYE and that I couldn’t stay in the new room. It worked out in the end and I was able to stay in the room as they couldn’t fix the lock. For context it broke 3-4 in a 24 hour period - once before my arrival. Outside of that hiccup, I had a great experience.

We stayed at the Aloha Resort for a week and we won’t be coming back.
On the first day there was a cockroach in our room, the stuff killed it with a bug spray after we asked them but at night there was another one behind the old furniture in the room. The bathroom in our room smells of dump, humidity and sewers. We had to keep the bathroom door open as there is no ventilation inside. The shower had a very low pressure, the mattress and pillows were hard and uncomfortable and we were seating every night because of synthetic duvet covers. Entire hotel has old feel, appliances and furniture for example fridge in the room, main light that didn’t work and sun beds and umbrellas by the pool.
The some stuff understands English but if you ask most of them something specific they don’t understand it.
We don’t recommend this resort!!!

A beautiful landscape and artistic hotel right on the nicest beach on Samui. Perfect for all travelers if you looking for place to chill by the pool, enjoy walking on the soft white sand beach or dipping in the clear ocean right in front of the property. Also walking distance to local stores, bars, massage parlors, muaythai gym. Will come back again

I was totally ripped off by the manager. Travelled in March 2024. Had a room that smelt of damp and was not nice at all. They changed me to another room which was cheaper and I was told I’d get a refund. When I finally caught up with the manager to arrange the refund he then said no and I ended up paying for the most expensive room whilst staying in a cheaper one. I think as a woman traveling on my own he felt he could do this. He was a bully. The staff are lovely but some even told me he’s not a nice man. Avoid this hotel.

Booked for one week. The place could be amazing. Breakfast is good. Rooms clean. Location wonderful
The big problem here is they do no maintance and they don t care. It's been raining everyday so I am stuck in my room. Problem is the TV doesn't t work. All I get is tomorrow tomorrow. It's been 5 days and I leave tomorrow.
There also is no security or staff after 9 pm. The place doesn't t staff anyone at night. So I suggest to find another place on the beach until this place fixed the issues.

Pros : location, atmosphere and super value for the front beach hotel
Cons : we stayed in the front beach room for 1 week. Wifi signal is super weak. It’s impossible to use it from the room. I’ve told the staff but nothing has been done. They just said we are checking.
Hot water didn’t work. Informed the staff several times. A technician came and it worked when he was there but hot water was gone that night. So no hot water for the whole week we stayed. It didn’t matter for us but we have a kid and the water was too cold for showering her at night.

This place has a fantastic location right at a gorgeous beach. The hotel has a nice charming atmosphere and the staff is friendly. The rooms are quite worn out, but everything is in working order. I would have appreciated some more comfortable mattresses though. And there was no safe to store your valuables.

Nothing has been done in this hotel for years. We had 3 rooms in 15 minutes when we arrived. Housekeeping need training, breakfast cold apart from eggs. Pool area good though. This hotel has massive potential but needs money spending on it.
